I love how you write Rollo x Yuu. They really have this sort of...idk, gentle domesticity(?), at least that is the vibes I'm getting. Like, they started out as forced housemates, and sort of holding each other in casual contempt, but over time, they gradually started to incorporate and integrate the other into their lives and routine. They do laundry together. They wash dishes together. They walk to class together. Then, they start figuring things out about each other, little likes and dislikes, quirks of personality and the like. They have fights. They make compromises, like normal housemates would I suppose. But normal housemates don't wake up two hours before you to make breakfast for you. Normal housemates don't start a secret vegetable garden in the backyard, just so you won't have to spend as much madol on groceries. Normal housemates don't leave your favorite drink or snack on the counter for when you wander into the kitchen after having a nightmare. Normal housemates don't do a lot of things they do for each other, but they don't realize that because they've never had to live so close to another human being before. And that probably scares both of them more than it disgusts them, because they didn't realize just how seamlessly they fit together, despite everything. And they put on that disgusted front in order to hide that creeping fear. The fear that they actually really care about it each other now. Because when you really care about someone...you have something to lose.

What started as a joke has developed into something where Yuu shows her gentle side to him more than she does the NRC boys. A gentle helping hand but harsh truth spilling words. Something Rollo needs, he spends so much time alone by choice vs Yuu who has to live alone due to her situation. Sure, she has Grim and the Ghosts and the NRC boys visit her, but she misses living with a human being. Rollo hates himself so Yuu has to make him love himself.

Rollo sees the work load that gets forced on Yuu and offers an ear during her rants. Her grievances, her annoyances, everything. He lends her a helping hand, cleaning up whenever he can so that she isn't up late doing it. When they were washing dishes, it devolved into a playful splash fight that had them both laughing.

So it was inevitable that they would end up together, if not by accident, then by the progressive nature of Rollo's housing. Rollo's afraid, he lost someone he loved before and now he loves Yuu... Would he lose her too?

He doesn't want an answer to that, he never wants an answer to that.
