Elain is known for giving thoughtful gifts. For the past two solstices, she has brightened Azriel’s holiday with things that he needs, including a headache powder and earplugs, both infused with quiet humor to bring him joy. One of my favorite headcanons for a future solstice is that, like a little Crochan witch, Elain gifts Azriel his own portable hearth, a delicate glass globe with her bright and enduring light. So no matter how far he travels on assignment, Azriel will always be able to carry his home, his heart(h), with him. And that home is and always will be Elain.
