#i thiiiink 8.#but i have one coming up in a few days and one next year#i'm also not counting ones that my parents dragged me to that i didn't really want to go to#they took me to a bunch of grateful dead or phish concerts that i don't particularly care about#and also took me to see weird al twice which was fine but like. not something i ever asked for or particularly wanted#ive seen a queen reenactment band‚ marina and the diamonds‚ car seat headrest‚ idkhow‚ MCR‚ death cab for cutie‚ hot mulligan x2#and i'm seeing PTV in a few days and MCR again next year#my friend bought the PTV tickets and i did a payment plan for MCR LOL i cannot afford these#but i promised my bf i would take him to see MCR if they toured again bc i went to the reunion tour with someone else#polls#submitted#queued#concert#concerts#music#shows#hall of fame

shout out to I will follow you into the dark for being the song of all time. death cab for cutie just nailed it. there's never been a song as much as I will follow you into the dark. it's so song. like?? hello?? if heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied, illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs, if there's no one beside you when your soul embarks, I will follow you into the dark. that's all there is to it.

Due to circumstances (bad ones) i (the one at fault) (clumsy) will not be able (for a while) (maybe) (unsure about this) to make art (draw) (mess with my ocs) (play touys or play games) for a while, (maybe longer) because I've spilled soup (instant noodles) (really tasty and smelled good) (phone vibrated and scared me) (soup everywhere) (my desk smells like soup) (my laptop smells like soup) (my hands smell like soup) all over my laptop :-( (sad) (unfortunate)

Cab Calloway - St. James Infirmary 1933
"St. James Infirmary" is an American blues and jazz standard of anonymous origin that emerged, like many others, from folk traditions. Louis Armstrong brought the song to lasting fame through his 1928 recording, on which Don Redman is named as composer; later releases credit "Joe Primrose", a pseudonym used by musician manager, music promoter and publisher Irving Mills.
By 1930 at least twenty different recordings had been released. In 1933, Cab Calloway's version anchored the classic Betty Boop cartoon Snow White and his instrumental version introduced another that featured Calloway's related hit song "Minnie the Moocher".
"St. James Infirmary" received a total of 75,9% yes votes! Previous Cab Calloway polls: #130 "Minnie the Moocher".
