Starving to death this morning because ive been to the new local cafe twice this week already and if i go a third time ill look desperate.
#a big BIG affectionate shoutout to the ‘regulars’ of this blog who send me posts to add to this growing collection of wholesome!!!!#AND OF COURSE A BIG HUGE THANK YOU TO @einkleinergruenerkaktus FOR ANOTHER GREAT HIT#so many good stories in this one!!!#and tho it started in a place where i genuinely felt for the people + their fear i’m glad it opened up to a new POV because!! yeah!!!#i LOVE being a regular at places :-) and getting chances to talk to the staff when it isn’t too busy#hearing about what they’re studying in college or what their fave menu item is#or swapping Looks when a customer is being entitled + rude#i remember feeling SO so disoriented the first couple times it happened when the server or cashier#asked me if i was going to have my usual or matter-of-fact told me that they already put my order in + i could go wait#but i started to get to know THEM in the same way they knew ME!!! which!!#some of my favorite moments have been in cafes + tea places + diners#i wonder how they’re all doing#i hope they’re well + getting tipped generously
