'Dangal' becomes the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time
Aamir Khan is his own competition.
How else do you rate a man who starred in India's first Rs 1 billion-film (Ghajini, 2008), first Rs 2 billion-film (3 Idiots, 2009), first Rs 3 billion-film (PK, 2014) and now, the highest-ever grossing film (Dangal, 2016) in more than a century of movie-making?

Dangal is Khan's fifth Rs 1 billion-plus film, a record unmatched by any of his peers.
It released in 4,300 screens and tracks the journey of a former Indian wrestler, played by Khan, who trains his daughters almost maniacally to turn them into medal-winners for the country.
The film has been appreciated both as a sports drama as well as a feminist statement. However, its biggest triumph lies in its massive commercials.
Dangal now leads the pack of India's top-grossing films of all time.
