Me: 'I'm concerned about this antibiotic bc it bothers my stomach bc crohns makes my gut more sensitive and likely to have gastrointestinal upset from this antibiotic'
Oral surgeon: 'But you can't take a lower dose bc that's not therapeutic, you have to take the full dose of this med or the implant could fail'

I made it through the worst of COVID. All things considered the symptoms and speed to peak and recovery makes it a very mild case. I've had every vaccination through mid-October 2023, so I'm not at all shocked. In fact it reminded me a lot of the reaction I had to the reaction I had to the first vaccine I got. I had the worst chills and soreness everywhere for about 48 hours and then gone. This actual COVID fever was an issue the entire time, but controlled with Tylenol and then I slept for like 2 and a half days straight.
Unfortunately, my MG flare is in full force but that too is relatively mild (not even close to needing hospitalization.). Swallow is back to what it was in May or June and weakness with any effort about the same. I just hope that the loss of restored function is very temporary and not months of recovery. I have a feeling illness alone is more like a temporary flare. It seems like Antibiotic exacerbations are the ones that take months. Which makes sense, because antibiotics like zpacks (which my neuro thinks was the big MG umask for me) nuke the whole body so those antibodies are attacking me like such for a while.
I really hope it's uphill from here. Please. I can't take much more this year.

Anyone know a good offering for Asklepios? I have sinus pain/infection (?) that a zpack hasn't touched and I need some help until I can get to my actual doctor and not a teledoc.

Advice on medical supplies? I (probably) need to get my first thing of quikclot, for example.
So, I started with an OSHA workplace first aid list for each household vehicle, built them a la carte with top quality and good price, and added some additional goodies; glucose tablets for diabetics, quikclot, a sharpie that I attached to the tourniquet (common practice is to write the time of application of the tourniquet on the victim). Funny bandaids. Ended up adding some flares to the kit since my husband keeps being the first one on scene to car accidents.
The thing is, the worst injuries we're likely to deal with are going to be on the road, or a gun related thing. I always have quikclot on me when I have my firearm with me, and I really should have a more complete mini gunshot kit; accidents happen, and even justified shoots ought to be followed up with medical attention if possible (this looks good to the people in a position to judge if the shoot was justified too, in addition to the whole being morally right thing).
Got a bag of charcoal for home for poisoning. There's some other stuff that my household has picked up, but it's more been what we're happened to come into possession of than the ideal assortment.
At this point, no veterinary meds, no chest wound kit, no narcan, no Mexican stuff. No Zpack, since I used mine a few years back, but all of those might be good to have. Have a rescue inhaler that I consider part of the household medical chest even though it's one of our prescriptions, considering that the only use so far hasn't been by the person it has prescribed to.

Sick
Ugh, my sinuses are getting sick AND I'm having some sort of likely-uterus related pain. I'm not worried about covid for the sinus/respiratory stuff being covid or anything; if it's still hanging around by Sunday I'll take the zpack that Brian has for some reason.
I'm a lot more worried about the low belly pain. It originally just felt like I needed to use the bathroom, but then I realized I was bleeding and I shouldn't be. Worse, all of it started shortly after sex, and the last time pain started like this I ended up in surgery with endo, cysts, and a fibroid. That's why it worries me. Because if it DOES come to that, I have to hold out until late May for my PTO to renew. Otherwise, I'll only get a day and a half paid of probably a full week out of work. But that means, if it's something like that, living with this getting worse and worse FOR THREE MONTHS.
Then again, avoiding how sick anesthesia makes me might be worth living with the pain.

Signing off for tonight. Have been dealing with a nasty cough for months and took a nasty turn. My doctor gave me an inhaler, a Zpack and three other meds. ALL of them taste gross but worth it. Two of them knock you out and I'm already drowsy and about the take the next dose. I'll talked to you all tomorrow!!

Best Lightweight Tents of 2024 for Solo Campers and Hikers"
For solo campers and hikers, a lightweight tent is essential. In 2024, new advancements in tent materials and designs make it easier than ever to find a durable, compact tent that won’t weigh you down. If you’re heading out alone, whether to remote trails or scenic locations like nirwana stays, a lightweight tent can provide you with both shelter and the freedom to explore. Here’s a guide to the best lightweight tents of 2024 for solo adventurers.
Why Lightweight Tents are Ideal for Solo Camping
When camping alone, every ounce matters. A lightweight tent ensures you’re not carrying extra weight, allowing you to save your energy for the hike itself. Compact tents are also easier to set up and pack, making them ideal for solo trips where quick setup is essential. Here are some key factors to consider when choosing a lightweight tent:
Weight: Aim for a tent that weighs under 3 pounds for easy carrying.
Packability: The smaller the packed size, the better it fits in your backpack.
Weather Resistance: A quality lightweight tent should provide reliable protection from rain and wind without adding bulk.
Top Lightweight Tents for Solo Campers in 2024
1. Zpacks Duplex
The Zpacks Duplex is one of the lightest tents on the market, weighing in at just over 1 pound. Made from Dyneema, this ultralight material is highly durable and waterproof. The Duplex provides great ventilation with mesh doors and windows, and it’s spacious enough for solo campers and their gear.
2. Nemo Hornet Elite 1P
Weighing only 1.2 pounds, the Nemo Hornet Elite 1P is another top choice for ultralight backpackers. Despite its weight, this tent offers a good amount of interior space and packs down small. The single door and vestibule provide easy entry and space to store your gear, making it a great choice for minimalists who want comfort on the trail.
3. MSR Carbon Reflex 1
The MSR Carbon Reflex 1 is built for those who need a lightweight, weather-resistant tent that doesn’t skimp on quality. At just under 2 pounds, it features MSR’s premium materials, offering durability and protection from the elements. With easy setup and a spacious vestibule for gear, this tent is a great option for solo travelers.
Why Quality Lightweight Tents are Worth the Investment
Investing in a lightweight, high-quality tent ensures you’ll be comfortable and protected in various weather conditions. When camping at scenic sites like nirwana stays, a reliable tent lets you focus on enjoying the views without worrying about gear. Whether you’re a weekend backpacker or a long-distance hiker, a lightweight tent gives you freedom to explore with ease and confidence.
