Zom 100 Vol 1 - Manga Review ✨

i have been holding onto this for quite awhile now and last night i finally picked up and read it. this was such a great start to this story that im looking forward to picking up the rest of the series. tendo is easily one of the most relatable characters in manga right now for anyone 23+. the way tendo gets so hyped that due to the zombie apocalypse he doesn’t have to go to work anymore is sooo me coded! i thought within just 3 chapters the mangaka did a really good job at setting up this world we have just entered but still leaving you with enough questions to pick up more volumes. the art is PHENOMENAL!! zom 100 is a shounon manga & you’re gonna get your typical shounon look but theyve also included art work more dark and gritty. its such a great blend of shounon and berserk art styles. overall i this is a very enjoyable first volume & i had so much fun reading this! i really cant wait to pick up volume 2! 💕

I just watched the first episode of zom 100, and I just loved it!! I loved how they play with colors according to the life and feelings of the main character

I liked that everything starts colorfully, when he is super excited about his new job, happy that he will be able to fulfill his dreams, and with several ambitions

later, when he sees that the company only cares about exploiting its workers, when he realizes that with each passing day it gets more and more tiring to live only for the work, the colors gradually fade, until everything is gray

and when the zombies start attacking, the blood is colored, as if it gives new life to things, although death is involved

and when he finally realizes that the next day he will no longer have to work and live the monotonous life he had, the colors come back!! full of life!!

I loved how they portray that it is easier for the apocalypse to happen than for capitalism to end!

and when that actually happens, the character is so happy to be rid of his miserable life that he ends up being happy to be surrounded by the bloodthirsty undead!
