☆ — fortunately for zim, the information he had let slip to dib was almost entirely forgotten in favor of trying to figure out what to do now that the irken had actually finished his part of the project. once again, the preteen glanced apprehensively at his blank papers, still entirely unsure how to stretch 'the sun keeps the planets in orbit' into 900 words. how did zim do it?

the bespectacled youths gaze quickly snapped back to the monitor as the alien jumped up. " Maybe-- maybe he's going to do something now that he's done...? " the boy murmured to himself, leaning closer to the screen. that made sense, right? he was just trying to lull dib into a false sense of security! make him think he wasn't going to do anything evil, and then when the raven-haired boy stopped looking he was going to put a bomb in his sink or bug their TV remote!

dib followed zim through the video feed all the way to the kitchen. the irken was going to poison his food, wasnt he! " I've got you now, Zim! Think you can poison me, huh? " the boy asserted, scrutinizing the video feed with much fervor. his eyes fell as he observed zim trying and failing to open their freezer, ending up faceplanting on the floor for a moment or two.

the irken wasn't going to do anything, was he? the preteen just wasted all of his time anticipating that he would. of course the second that dib was actually prepared for something the invader had no intentions of doing anything-- or was seemingly failing to do anything. as zim kicked the fridge the human boy leapt down from his chair and started heading out the door, down the stairs, and towards the kitchen. maybe zim wrote enough for the both of them...?

" What're you doing, space-boy? " dib asked dryly as he entered the kitchen. " Trying to destroy my fridge? Did you even work on the paper? " he accused, despite knowing the contrary was true. the boy leaned up against the fridge, stretching his arm to its limit-- until he was able to pop the freezer door open. " There. What do you want with my freezer, anyway? "

He feels slightly better now after finishing that paper. Sure, he gave Dib a bit of information by accident, but it wasn't really THAT much. He couldn't do anything with it! He was but one lone pitiful human against one of the most powerful and grandest empires across the cosmos!!

The irken looks around, unsure of what to do now. He could bug the TV or maybe that lamp over there. Hmm. Actually, he could go for a snack right about now. Maybe a frozen treat. Yeah. That's what he'll do actually! Zim starts to march his way into the kitchen and over to the fridge. He looks up and frowns at the sight of the freezer being on top. Why does everything have to be so big and tall and out of his reach?

Zim attempts to reach the handle by getting on his tippy toes, he's not even close, before transitioning to climb up the nearby counter and try and reach it that way. That also fails. In fact, he falls flat onto his face as he loses his footing and plummets to the kitchen floor.

A moment or two passes before the irken is back up onto his feet. An angry yell parts from his lips as he holds his fists up high. He's kicking the fridge now out of frustration.

Zim can eat as much as GIR can, but chooses not to, because it’s “impolite”

Zim and dib have “special no fight days” where they hang out or whatever like 4 days out of the month, except summer where it’s 5, when those land on school days the skoolkids act like the raptures coming

Keef once dramatically professed his love for zim in front of everyone (flowers a huge ass speech etc) and zim promptly threw up and beat Keef up after school for embarrassing him. Keef though he was playing hard to get (he was not. There was no love involved whatsoever.)

Zim fucking loves earth pastries, he will postpone his “evil plans” if dib bribes him with a couple of cupcakes.

^ when zim, gaz and dib were at a state fair, zim entered a pie eating contest, he just wanted pie, but it was the worst thing dib and gaz ever witnessed, he ate 3 pies in 5 minutes. It looked like the dark harvest but with blueberry pies. Dib still can’t eat pie, but zim did win.

Zim actually likes girs soap waffles, he just eats them in moderation

Since doughnuts are rarities for the tallest, the first time zim had a doughnut was when letter M brought them in for his birthday, zim was confused, ate it, and promptly cried at how delicious it was, like full on nearly sobbing, (his classmates were like “BRO?” “Is you good??!!”)

Membrane once invited zim over for dinner, because “he’s such a polite young man! With his passion for science, he’s a wonderful influence for you dib!” And zim was well behaved, dib however…..

Gaz and zim once played cuphead together, after fighting over who got to be cuphead (gaz won) they played… two dumbasses with anger problems playing a rage game…. Membrane and dib curled into a corner and cried of fear

Zim can cook actually really well because his time on foodcourtia, he just does not like to. He once cooked for a schools bake sale and dib accused him of buying it.

Zim hacked into the membranes Netflix account, and for some reason it cannot be removed, like he hardwired it into the account.

Zim and gaz and GIR Play video games together, (Minecraft, Roblox, supersmash bros, Mario kart and animal crossing are their specialties) “GAZ DONT CONSPIRE WITH THE ENEMIES!!�� “Shut the fuck up GIR just found diamonds and if we don’t get to him he’s gonna die and lose them in lava”
