What better way to spend being sick is by bingewatching some dramas? I watched the chinese Put Your Head On My Shoulder and was honestly addicted to it. This cute drama is a quirky remake of a novel by #ZhaoQianqian and was also remade in Thailand in 2021 #chinesedrama #romcom #review

While I was sick during the pandemic I turned to Netflix and decided to watch a whole bunch of dramas, one of the one that truly stood out to me was the Chinese drama Put Your Head On My Shoulder; based on Zhao Qianqian’s novel of the same name. With actress Xing Fei playing the lead role as accounting (but I think it was more graphic/commercial) student who moves out of the dorm room at school…

Ini lah saatnya aku ngrant tentang drama cina yang baru saja selesai ku tonton!

Judulnya adalah “Put Your Head on My Shoulder”

Saat pertama baca judulnya di Netflix, otomatis terdengar suara Paul Anka yang bernyanyi “PUT YOUR HEAD ON MYYYYYY SHOULDEERRRRRRR, HOLD ME ON YOUR ARMS, BABY~”

Judul bahasa cinanya adalah “Zhi wo men nuan nuan de xiao shi guang” nah gimana deh tuh bacanya. 

Ceritanya tentu saja tentang mas tsundere bernama Gu Weiyi dan si mbak yang bernama Situ Mo. Mereka kuliah di kampus yang sama, beda jurusan, Gu Weiyi jurusan science dan Situ Mo jurusan akutansi tapi dia maunya kerja di bidang advertising. Keduanya nih sama-sama tinggal di asrama kampus. Si Gu Weiyi satu kamar sama Fu Pei yang tidak lain dan tidak bukan adalah taksirannya Situ Mo sejak SMA. Tapi Fu Pei agak jingan juga sih dia menjebak mbaknya dalam friendzone. Maka dari itu akhirnya tidak terlalu baik antara mereka.

Lalu ya tentu saja ini adalah kisah cinta antara Gu Weiyi dan Situ Mo kan ya intinya! Jadi yang mau dirant disini adalah lebih kepada kelakuan Gu Weiyi yang kadang bikin kita mikir, loh ini Gu Weiyi atau Matsumoto Jun?

ngga sih, aku ngasal part yang itu.

Jadi Gu Weiyi ini kuliah jurusan science, dia lagi ikut penelitian semacam untuk tugas akhir. Jadi anak ini digambarkan sebagai anak yang pinter banget tapi lah iya agak freak, cuma tentu saja tampan.

Jadi aksi apa saja yang dilakukan si tampan freak ini?

Pertama, Gu Weiyi ketemu Situ Mo di konter hp. Aku lupa Gu Weiyi mau ngapain, tapi Situ Mo mau ganti layar hp yang pecah karena jatuh dari kasur. Tiba-tiba Gu Weiyi yang freak suka banget sama ngotak-ngatik sesuatu bilang ke Situ Mo “Sini gue aja yang benerin, gue mau nyoba ganti layar hp tipe ini. Nanti biaya layar hp lo gue bayarin”

LAH! masnya nih mantan abang-abang ITC apa gimana?

Kemudian beralih ke masa-masa Gu Weiyi semakin dekat dengan Situ Mo. Setelah melakukan perjalanan ke suatu tempat, mereka pulang naik bis. Situ Mo ngantuk dan tentu saja terjadi adegan khas drama romance, yaitu tokoh wanita tertidur di pundak tokoh pria! Namun, Gu Weiyi sepertinya menolak menjadi tokoh tsundere mainstream. Dia membiarkan mbaknya ketiduran di pundaknya tapi!! dialasin tisu. Yha..takut diilerin kali.

Adegan lain yang membuat aku geleng kepala waktu nonton adalah, dua orang ini nih emang hobi naik bis barengan ya. Terus ada adegan memakai satu headset berdua. Ekspektasi adalah mendengarkan lagu yang yaaaaaaaa romantis kali lah gitu ya kalo di Indonesia mungkin kita denger lagunya Maliq sambil mesem-mesem. Realitanya, Gu Weiyi dan Situ Mo ini mendengarkan podcast lawak berdua. I stan humorous couple.

Adegan selanjutnya hmm ini rasanya i can relate sih wkwk. Jadi Situ Mo ngefans sama Tomingse. Ada bagian dimana mereka berdua nonton Meteor Garden di TV. Kata Situ Mo, bentukan Tomingse waktu masih jabrik dan pake bandana tuh ganteng banget. Nah Gu Weiyi sebagai manusia yang jiwa bucinnya sudah terbentuk ya tentu saja pergi ke salon dan jabrikin rambut! Akhirnya failed sih, dia bete sendiri terus ngga jadi.

Hal lain yang dilakukan Gu Weiyi semenjak bucin banyak sebenanrya, namun aku lupa. Salah satu yang masih diingat adalah saat Situ Mo pengen main mandi bola, tapi ngga bisa karena sudah bukan umurnya dan orang yang bisa masuk arena mandi bola itu hanyalah orang tua dan anaknya. Lalu, apa yang dilakukan Gu Weiyi?

Tentu saja meminjam anak orang biar bisa masuk arena mandi bola!

Memang sungguh luar biasa dia. 

Kesannya drama ini ngaco banget ya. Dibilang ngga ngaco ngga bisa, tapi dibilang ngaco banget juga ngga sih. Tapi beneran deh setiap ada adegan romantis bertahannya paling lama cuma dua menit kali. Lanjutannya ya kalau ngga Situ Mo nya membodoh ya Gu Weiyi nya yang membodoh.

Ini pure drama melarikan diri sih. Ngga ada konflik yang kebangetan berat, romancenya ngga bikin jijik, malah sengaja dilebay-lebakan untuk kemudian dibikin ngaco. Tidak sebagus dramanya maz tian namun ya kusuka.

Cocok buat iseng-iseng. wo ai ni lah pokoknya
