I'm honored to have a story about the adventures of the Gerudo archaeologist Rotana in Residents of the Wild, a digital fanzine celebrating the NPCs of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. All proceeds from the zine will be donated to this year's Zeldathon charity event, and orders are open until July 25 (here).

Day 1 of my 2023 Zelda week: Finished Majora's Mask 3D in 13 hours. Longer than I expected, and I regret choosing the remake for a few reasons. Firstly, my hands did not like trying to play a 3DS for that long. Second, there are several changed to the 3DS remake that I did not enjoy. The four area bosses were ENORMOUS downgrades vs. their N64 counterparts. Odolwa was inoffensive and too easy, Goht was fine but aesthetically a downgrade, Gyorg & Twinmold are infuriating and really put a damper on otherwise fantastic dungeons. (I maintain Stone Tower Temple as my favorite dungeon in all of Zelda despite each of it's three bosses killing me multiple times.)

Majora's Mask deserves to be played in full but the atmosphere somehow still comes through if you ignore all of the optional stuff. Impressive.

I am worried that the Oracle games will be a significant roadblock, since they are full of content and I much less familiar with them despite Ages being my favorite 2D Zelda. Luckily I can ply on my TV with a good controller to give my hands a break.
