I'm pretty sure The Static isn't from any established CN/WB/HB property it's a wholly unique threat...Like...The Ze Balmary Empire from SRW@, Abyss from MvC2 and even Galeem and Dharkon from World of Light as well as Tabuu from Subspace Emissary.

though...it's still up in the air and we won't know anything else until Pibby starts actual production.

Dose our real American heroes exist in the Autobot academy universe (G I Joe), I think that every universe of the Transformers is naturally shared by G I Joe, even if their counterparts aren’t seen in their fiction

Personally I never grew up with GI Joe, so any information I have on them is relatively second hand, and I'm not the kind of guy who really cares for military propoganda like we'd see in at least recent entrees. @maddyaddy, however, write stories in the Autobot Academy universe which, while not specifically canon, have provided elements of interest (Dai Atlas XIII, several Circle of Light members, Ze Balmary Empire) have seen action in the actual canon in one form or another. In those stories, she's written up at least a couple stories detailing GI Joe.

TLDR: Probably, though don't expect them to randomly show up in the comic.
