(Imam Ahmad bin Zain al-Habsy)

Who was Syeda Zainab (s.a), and why was she given some of the holy titles of “Al-Alima” (the most knowledgeable) and
Al-Abida (the most distinguished worshipper).?
Writing about the life of past personalities takes courage, especially those characterized by high merits of piousness, holiness, and bravery. Syeda Zainab Bint e Ali (a.s) is one of the pious personalities whose name resonates with courage, bravery, and resolute determination. The esteemed daughter of Imam Ali (a.s) and Syeda Fatima (s.a), Syeda Zainab (s.a) continues to stand as a beacon of inspiration for humanity.
From her early life, Syeda Zainab (s.a) showcased remarkable resilience, profound wisdom, unwavering commitment towards Allah, and courage to stand against evil, leaving an indelible mark on history.
The Personality of Syeda Zainab (s.a)
Syeda Zainab Bint e Ali (a.s)was brought up in Madina and later on, was married to Hazrat Abdullah ibn Jafar al-Tayyar and raised 5 five children. Syeda Zainab (s.a) was blessed with four sons: Ali, Aun, Muhammad, Abbas, and a daughter named Umm Kulthum (s.a).
Syeda Zainab (s.a)’s illustrious reputation is represented by the following titles:
Al-Aqila (Wise and discerning woman)
Syeda Zainab Bint e Ali (a.s) was titled Aqilah, which is an Arabic word that refers to a woman who is honored by her tribe due to her wisdom. Syeda Zainab (s.a) held such virtuous qualities that her descendants were hailed as Banu Al Aqilah (Sons of virtuous and wise women).
Al-Alima (The most knowledgeable woman)
She possessed supreme knowledge that historians confirm that Syeda Zainab (s.a) was an authority for Muslim women in their religious affairs. And who was more capable of having this title except for the daughter of Imam Ali, who also had the title of Bab e Madine tul Ilm Ali (a.s)
(The gate of the city of knowledge)?
Al Abida (The most worshipper woman)
Syeda Zainab (s.a) was recognized as the most distinguished worshipper of Allah among Muslim ladies. Her commitment towards Allah never shattered and she performed supererogatory prayers even on the most challenging night of her life, on the night of the tenth of Muharram when her brother Imam Hussain ibn e Ali (a.s) was martyred and there was no one left to protect the dignity of Islam and the true essence of their grandfather, the Prophet’s, religion. Thus, she was recognized as Abidatu Ali, The Most Worshipping woman of Imam Ali (a.s)’s household.
Al-Kamila (Superb and exalted woman)
In all the events of her life, Syeda Zainab (s.a) was seen in leading positions. She, therefore, is called ‘Al-Kamilah – the Perfect woman.
Al-Fadhila (Virtuous Woman)
Because of her commitment, her services towards Islam, and her steadfastness for the sake of Allah, Syeda Zainab (s.a) has gained a virtuous rank that has exceeded all limits which makes her ‘al-Fadhila—the most Virtuous Woman.
Role in Karbala
The two foremost personalities that shaped Karbala’s narrative were Imam Hussain and Syeda Zainab Bint e Ali (a.s).
Syeda Zainab (s.a), at the age of 55, played an indelibly crucial role during the battle of Karbala in 61 A.H., standing as an unwavering symbol of strength, resilience, and unwavering faith amidst the tragedy. She watched the martyrdom of her two sons, her nephews, and her dear brothers Imam Hussain (a.s) and Abbas (a.s).
After the martyrdom of her beloved brother and her two sons, Syeda Zainab stood as an epitome of bravery and showed unwavering commitment to Allah. Amidst the sorrow, she supplicated a prayer that echoed through time: “O Allah! Accept our humble sacrifice”.
Sermon in the Court of Yazid
After the martyrdom of all the leading men in Karbala except Imam Zain ul Abidin (a.s), the women were brought as prisoners in the court of Yazid in Damascus.
Syeda Zainab Bint e Ali (a.s).fearlessly delivered a sermon in the court of Yazid, directly pointing out the illegitimate and corrupt ruler and exposing his tyrannical, fraudulent, and oppressive rule.
“O Yazid Do you believe that we, who have faced the martyrdom of our loved ones, are now weakened and humiliated..?
Just because you have imprisoned us and blocked our way, do you think Allah’s blessings have abandoned us..?
Do you consider yourself great and favored by the Almighty for killing the righteous..?
Reflect on your actions, for the Almighty’s grace and kindness cannot be won through such deeds.”
She then recited the verse of the Quran from Surah Al Imran:
“The disbelievers must not think that our respite is for their good. We only give them time to let them increase their sins. For them, there will be humiliation.” (Surah Al Imran, 3: 169)
Syeda Zainab (s.a) and Our Lives
We may feel that we cannot meet the standards of the ideal personalities of Islam because the virtues they possess are unattainable and beyond our limits.
Still, we always need ideals to try our best to reach high moral standards and continuously try to attain the nearness of Allah.
And for women, Syeda Zainab binte Ali (a.s) is the lighting guide.
A guide towards piousness, courage, wisdom, consistency and never letting go of the path of truth.
We haven’t faced the challenges Syeda faced, but the choices we make in our young life when our personalities develop affect who we will become or the character we will possess.
So in order to create a world having the truth more empowered we have to follow the footsteps of Syeda Zainab Binte Ali (a.s) and awaken humanity in its true form.

Imam Al-Hussain (as) was hit with arrows, spears and sword blows on his head and body. Imam Al-Baqir reports a total of 320 injuries. His chest was thereafter trampled on by the hooves of horses. In an act of excessive cruelty, Imam Al-Hussain’s head was severed and sent to Kufa, where the tyrant governor (Yazid) celebrated by displaying it for public view!
Narrations state that the horses that trampled Imam Al Hussain’s (as) body were known as Aawajiyya And had distinctive characteristics above other stallions. A researcher who studied these features for months finally found a book by a German expert on horses known as “The Worlds Strongest Stallions It says “There are certain stallions known as Aawajiyya and their speciality is that each stomp of each hoof weighs 65kgs and its purpose is to crush and grind what is beneath it” Then the Narrator says “I remembered one of the riders of Ibn Saads army mention: I heard the ribs of Hussain crack and snap when we crushed him under our horses” O’ people who ask why we cry over the son of Sayeda Fatima Al- Zahra (as) Think about it! 10 horses trampled Imam Hussain (as) Each stomp 65kgs, 4 hooves each horse 4x10=40 stomps. 40stomps x 65kgs = 2600kgs. 2600kgs crushed the chest of The son of Fatima Al-Zahraa (as), one of the 2 masters of the youth of Paradise This narration is no surprise for Imam zain Al-Abideen (as) mentions: “My fathers chest collapsed in on his back” When he came to bury him he would pick up one side of his father and the other side would fall apart.

"The right of he who does a kind act towards you is that you thank him and mention his kindness; that you reward him with beautiful words and supplicate for him sincerely in that which is between you and Allah. If you do that, you have thanked him both secretly and openly. Then if you are able to repay him one day, repay him."

Hiiii!! I'm a new follower(mainly coz tv serials are kind of a guilty pleasure for me and I'm sooo thankful that hotstar has a profile feature).
So, I'd started watching ishqbaaz many years back but i stopped for some reason and now I'm finding out that there's a redux thing and also another thing where ShivIka's son has his own thing? So like i just wanted to know, would you recommend watching redux? I rly don't wanna watch the son's love story, but I'm hearing that Rikara has another level of wholesomeness in redux.
Sorry for the long ask lolol, have a great day❤️❤️
Hi hiiii,
So, the redux is an alternate universe in which all our regular characters are there, with some changed circumstances. That starts at Season 13 Ep 96 (acc to the Hotstar labelling system.) It goes on with Shivika/Rikara/Ruvya till S13 E225, after which the show takes a leap (yes, within the AU redux whatever thingy itself) and moves on to the story of Shivika's son. Basically, I stopped watching the show somewhere around S13 E 213, but the show went steeply downhill from the point Zain Imam enters the show as Shivaay's friend, so yeah.... Make of that what you will.

Curse upon curse, be upon the killers of Imam Hussain ع.
Curse upon curse, on those who celebrated and gloated.

The holy birth of the reviver of the lineage of Imamat & Wilayat. Hazrat Sayed-ul-Sajideen, Imam Zain-ul-Abideen Mubarak to Imam-e-Zamana(atfs), to Ahl-ul-Bayt(as), to Ahlulallah and to all momineen.
Among many characteristics of Imam Zain-ul-Abideen(as) one was serving Hujjaj during Haj in disguise. Even though in many occasions, he was disrespected by arrogant Hujjaj but he did not made his identity known to them because his purpose was to serve & please God, not his servants.
Therefore, it is very important to be humble to others & never judge someone by their appearance

🍃🌺🍃 The Birth of Lady Zainab (sa)
Lady Zainab (sa) was (accurately) the third child born to Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa). In other words, she was born directly after Imam Hussain (as); despite the false claim of some historians who hold the opinion that Lady Zainab (sa) was born after the miscarriage, which Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa) had and resulted in the martyrdom of Mohsin. These historians are motivated by their desire to divert the attention from the merciless attack on Lady Fatima’s (sa) house which not only resulted in Mohsin's martyrdom, but also in the eventual death of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa) herself.
Among these writers is the Egyptian Bint Ash-Shati who wrote in her book Batlat Karbala:
"Zahra, the Prophet's daughter was about to give birth to a new baby after bringing happiness unto Messenger's life by giving birth to his beloved sons: al-Hasan and al-Hussain, and a third child, who was not destined to live and whose name was to be Mohsin Ibn ‘Ali..." 1
Regardless of these unfounded claims, it has been established that Lady Zainab (sa) was born in 5 A.H., and that she was the third child of the honorable Alawi household.
It is said that her grandfather, the Prophet (S) named her Zainab (sa) that is derived from two words: "Zain" and "Ab" that together means "The embellishment of her father." Yet, Muhammad Jawad Mughniah quoted the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Jomhuria dated October 31, 1972, in his book al-Hussain Batala Karbala as saying:
"Zainab was born in Shaban 5 A.H. When her mother brought her to Imam Ali (as) and said: "Name her" he replied: "I would not name her before Allah's Messenger." At this time the Prophet (S)!was on a trip and when he returned, he again refused to name her before her Lord. So, Gabriel descended to inform the Prophet (S) about Allah's blessings, and said: "The name of this baby is Zainab; Allah chose this name for her."
Lady Zainab's (sa) history itself speaks of her honorable life, and noble traits, as well as the miseries she encountered during her childhood, such as the death of her great grandfather, the martyrdom of her mother (sa), and the various inflictions which she lived through during the quarter of a century that her father, Imam Ali (as), was confined to his house as a result of his rights having been usurped by others.
Moreover, when Lady Zainab (sa) emigrated from Medina to Kufa, her Father's city, several misfortunes were destined for her; starting with the martyrdom of Imam Ali (as). This was followed by fierce battles between her brother, al-Hasan (as), and Mu'awiya, which resulted in the poisoning of Imam Hasan (as). After several years, Lady Zainab (sa) faced the greatest disaster of history when Imam Hussain (as) along with the prominent Hashimite men were massacred at Karbala by the Umayyads. After massacring the men, Lady Zainab (sa), and the women were taken to Syria; but, she did not panic, nor, did she give into the enemy. From Syria she was sent to Medina, and then exiled to Egypt to live the rest of her life.
Lady Zainab's (sa) tomb is well-known in Egypt today, and is visited by believers from all over the world.
(There is disagreement about the location of Lady Zainab's (sa) tomb; it is believed by most to be located in Syria).
