Imam Al-Hussain (as) was hit with arrows, spears and sword blows on his head and body. Imam Al-Baqir reports a total of 320 injuries. His chest was thereafter trampled on by the hooves of horses. In an act of excessive cruelty, Imam Al-Hussain’s head was severed and sent to Kufa, where the tyrant governor (Yazid) celebrated by displaying it for public view!
Narrations state that the horses that trampled Imam Al Hussain’s (as) body were known as Aawajiyya And had distinctive characteristics above other stallions. A researcher who studied these features for months finally found a book by a German expert on horses known as “The Worlds Strongest Stallions It says “There are certain stallions known as Aawajiyya and their speciality is that each stomp of each hoof weighs 65kgs and its purpose is to crush and grind what is beneath it” Then the Narrator says “I remembered one of the riders of Ibn Saads army mention: I heard the ribs of Hussain crack and snap when we crushed him under our horses” O’ people who ask why we cry over the son of Sayeda Fatima Al- Zahra (as) Think about it! 10 horses trampled Imam Hussain (as) Each stomp 65kgs, 4 hooves each horse 4x10=40 stomps. 40stomps x 65kgs = 2600kgs. 2600kgs crushed the chest of The son of Fatima Al-Zahraa (as), one of the 2 masters of the youth of Paradise This narration is no surprise for Imam zain Al-Abideen (as) mentions: “My fathers chest collapsed in on his back” When he came to bury him he would pick up one side of his father and the other side would fall apart.

"The right of he who does a kind act towards you is that you thank him and mention his kindness; that you reward him with beautiful words and supplicate for him sincerely in that which is between you and Allah. If you do that, you have thanked him both secretly and openly. Then if you are able to repay him one day, repay him."

Hiiii!! I'm a new follower(mainly coz tv serials are kind of a guilty pleasure for me and I'm sooo thankful that hotstar has a profile feature).
So, I'd started watching ishqbaaz many years back but i stopped for some reason and now I'm finding out that there's a redux thing and also another thing where ShivIka's son has his own thing? So like i just wanted to know, would you recommend watching redux? I rly don't wanna watch the son's love story, but I'm hearing that Rikara has another level of wholesomeness in redux.
Sorry for the long ask lolol, have a great day❤️❤️
Hi hiiii,
So, the redux is an alternate universe in which all our regular characters are there, with some changed circumstances. That starts at Season 13 Ep 96 (acc to the Hotstar labelling system.) It goes on with Shivika/Rikara/Ruvya till S13 E225, after which the show takes a leap (yes, within the AU redux whatever thingy itself) and moves on to the story of Shivika's son. Basically, I stopped watching the show somewhere around S13 E 213, but the show went steeply downhill from the point Zain Imam enters the show as Shivaay's friend, so yeah.... Make of that what you will.

Brother Alive (9/9)
Brother Alive, the debut novel of author Zain Khalid, was a book I first heard of when it was nominated for the Ursula K. Le Guin prize. It follows three triplets Dayo, Iseul, and Youssef raised by imam Salim who runs a mosque in New York.
Youssef is followed by a presence he names Brother. A shapeshifting being that takes on a variety of animal forms and is only visible to Youssef.
The first section focuses on their childhood growing up in New York. It follows them from their earliest years to college. For most of this initial section it isn't very plot heavy; events happen but they're at this point more vignettes than an overarching plot.
There's some solid thematic meat you could dig into in the first two sections: homophobia, the experience of Muslims in America and the way parents can harm their children.
Really though the strength of this part of the novel is in the characters. The three brothers and their relationship are written in a way that makes you want to read more about them and see more what type of people they are and how they'll change. Salim is a less developed presence in this section but the hints we get paint a picture of a intriguing character with an interesting past that leaves you eager to learn more about him.
The titular Brother of the story that Youssef is linked to appears almost superfluous for most of this section. At one point I recall thinking that his only benefit to the narrative was to make the occasionally mundanely implausible elements less jarring when the supernatural had already been introduced.
Events start coming to a head as the opening section comes to an end climaxing in Salim leaving America to return to Saudi Arabia.
The second section, the shortest of the book, consists of a single long chapter. This chapter takes the form of a letter written from Salim to the children to explain his past. It was the best part of the book, recontextualizing Salim in a way that fit with what came before and his backstory serving as a compelling narrative in it's own right.
It then switches back to the present and at this half way point the book falls apart.
There were some points in the first section which could stretch belief but it becomes abruptly ridiculous from the third section onwards. It's closer to what you'd expect from an unrealistic schlocky spy thriller than a serious book.
The problem isn't just that the plot becomes increasingly ridiculous (though it does) but that there's also an increased focus on plot which was even in the prior sections far from a strength.
These more plot-heavy sections have less time for the characters. I could name a dozen compelling characters moments from the first two sections; I struggle to think of any from the third and fourth.
I kept reading out of some distant hope that the book might eventually recapture what it had in the beginning. Outside of a handful of glimmers of potential that never happened.
It's the most disappointed a book has left me in a long time. I know enough to temper my expectations for even the most strongly recommended books but to see a book have such a compelling first half only for the second half to squander it's potential entirely was a disappointment I wasn't prepared for.

The right of the hajj is that you know it is an arrival before your Lord and a flight to Him from your sins; through it your repentance is accepted and you perform an obligation made incumbent upon you by God.

🍃🌺🍃 The Birth of Lady Zainab (sa)
Lady Zainab (sa) was (accurately) the third child born to Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa). In other words, she was born directly after Imam Hussain (as); despite the false claim of some historians who hold the opinion that Lady Zainab (sa) was born after the miscarriage, which Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa) had and resulted in the martyrdom of Mohsin. These historians are motivated by their desire to divert the attention from the merciless attack on Lady Fatima’s (sa) house which not only resulted in Mohsin's martyrdom, but also in the eventual death of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (sa) herself.
Among these writers is the Egyptian Bint Ash-Shati who wrote in her book Batlat Karbala:
"Zahra, the Prophet's daughter was about to give birth to a new baby after bringing happiness unto Messenger's life by giving birth to his beloved sons: al-Hasan and al-Hussain, and a third child, who was not destined to live and whose name was to be Mohsin Ibn ‘Ali..." 1
Regardless of these unfounded claims, it has been established that Lady Zainab (sa) was born in 5 A.H., and that she was the third child of the honorable Alawi household.
It is said that her grandfather, the Prophet (S) named her Zainab (sa) that is derived from two words: "Zain" and "Ab" that together means "The embellishment of her father." Yet, Muhammad Jawad Mughniah quoted the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Jomhuria dated October 31, 1972, in his book al-Hussain Batala Karbala as saying:
"Zainab was born in Shaban 5 A.H. When her mother brought her to Imam Ali (as) and said: "Name her" he replied: "I would not name her before Allah's Messenger." At this time the Prophet (S)!was on a trip and when he returned, he again refused to name her before her Lord. So, Gabriel descended to inform the Prophet (S) about Allah's blessings, and said: "The name of this baby is Zainab; Allah chose this name for her."
Lady Zainab's (sa) history itself speaks of her honorable life, and noble traits, as well as the miseries she encountered during her childhood, such as the death of her great grandfather, the martyrdom of her mother (sa), and the various inflictions which she lived through during the quarter of a century that her father, Imam Ali (as), was confined to his house as a result of his rights having been usurped by others.
Moreover, when Lady Zainab (sa) emigrated from Medina to Kufa, her Father's city, several misfortunes were destined for her; starting with the martyrdom of Imam Ali (as). This was followed by fierce battles between her brother, al-Hasan (as), and Mu'awiya, which resulted in the poisoning of Imam Hasan (as). After several years, Lady Zainab (sa) faced the greatest disaster of history when Imam Hussain (as) along with the prominent Hashimite men were massacred at Karbala by the Umayyads. After massacring the men, Lady Zainab (sa), and the women were taken to Syria; but, she did not panic, nor, did she give into the enemy. From Syria she was sent to Medina, and then exiled to Egypt to live the rest of her life.
Lady Zainab's (sa) tomb is well-known in Egypt today, and is visited by believers from all over the world.
(There is disagreement about the location of Lady Zainab's (sa) tomb; it is believed by most to be located in Syria).

Peygamber'in kızı Bibi Fatima Zehra'nın üzerine son abdest aldığı ve 430 yıl önce Kutub Şahi hanedanlığı döneminde yerleştirildiği bir tahta parçasının bulunduğuna inanılan 'Bibi ka alam', Karnataka'dan getirilen, kaparili bir fil üzerinde taşınıyordu. . Alay sırasında adananlar, Nauhey'i okuyarak ölümün yasını tutuyorlar (Kerbela'da 10 Muharrem 60 Hicri döneminde meydana gelen olayları anlatıyor). Muhammed'in kızı.
