"Can I ask you all something?" Yume nervously interrupted. Tâm simply nodded, so Yume asked, "Is there a particular reason that you three have been... so nice to me? I thought it might be a cultural thing, but I wanted to be sure..."

Tâm began to sweat a little, but she was very smooth and managed to get by without Yume noticing. "Letícia and Antôniô are already... well, enamored with you, and Kim's got a brilliant opinion of your son. If he likes you, it's endorsement enough for me."

"Th-thank you," Yume murmured. "Ryuji talks about your son a lot, too. They're both good boys..."

"That ain't the half of it!" Letícia chuckled as she set down a tray of brigadeiros for her. "Take as much as you like, and the rest can come home."

She gave Yume a wink; if the woman didn't know any better, she'd think it was flirty. "N-No, I couldn't-"

"Please, you're doing us a favor!" Antôniô leaned closer to Yume and stage-whispered, like a child failing to keep a secret secret, "Our fridge and pantry is bulging right now! Sharing food is our love language."

With the eyes of Antôniô, Tâm and Letícia all on Yume, she couldn't help but feel flustered. "What I'm wondering about is... sorry, it's nothing."

"If you need to get something off your chest, we'll listen."

"No, Mr. Lê Chiến, it's just a silly thought. If I could think of a way to say it without sounding brazen, I'd do it, b-but-"

"Yume..." Letícia soothed. A perfectly manicured hand sat on Yume's shoulder. "We're not gonna fault you for whatever the issue is, we promise. If it is something serious, we'll help. It's the least we can do for you - your son is so good to ours."

Yume squirmed, cheeks a burning red, but she acquiesced. In for a penny, in for a pound. "I talk with Ryuji's other friends... the good ones, anyways." The mood soured a bit at the thought of poor parents like M. Madarame and Mlle. Bustier. "I believe that you guys show your... your affection through food, but from what I'm seeing with the others, it just seems... disproportionate. Like I'm a special case. Maybe I'm just not used to other people my age being so kind yet..."

The three Lê Chiếns were silent for a moment, concern across their faces. They looked at each other, having a wordless conversation. Yume used to wish she and Ryo could do that.

Eventually, Letícia spoke up for her and her partners. "You've got good instincts, Ms. Sakamoto. Nothing bad, though - we're just worried you'd freak out if we told you sooner, without getting to know you first. You told us about your ex-husband, so we really wanted to be careful..."

Yume's anxiety mostly faded into confusion. "What does this have to do with him? Is he doing something that you know of?"

"Nonono!" Antôniô stammered. "Nothing of the sort. From what we know, he's the last kind of man we'd associate ourselves with."

"Then... what is it? If it's something bad, please just t-"

"We're interested in you!" Tâm blurted out. Yume's eyes shot open, and her jaw dropped like a stone. "You're strong, and kind, and compassionate, and Ryuji and Kim are practically conjoined at the hip when they're able to meet."

Yume's cheeks went an infernal red. "We didn't want to ask you outright yet," Antôniô confessed. "We know about your ex, so we didn't want to push any buttons in case you still weren't over him. Plus, we didn't even know if you were open to poly, let alone interested in women-"

"You..." Yume murmured, still gaping like a fish, "you're really in love with me?"

"Well, we try not to say love without experience," Letícia amended, "but we'd like to gain that experience. Of course, if you're not interested, we'll respect it!"

Yume clutched her arm anxiously. "Can I ask some questions?" The other three nodded instantly. "First, would it be dating, or would I have to marry you off the bat?"

"Officially, Letícia isn't married to anyone," Tâm answered. "So no, you wouldn't have to marry anyone unless you wanted to. That would be wrong of us, to force you into anything. We'd like to take it slow with you, to begin with."

Yume nodded, relieved. "Second... Ryuji comes before any of you. I presume that you're the same with Kim there, but I want to be sure."

Three voices chorused, "Absolutely."

"Thirdmost, can you promise there won't be anything physical? To me or Ryuji?"

"Never intentionally," Antôniô swore. "Hawkmoth is still at large, but we would never harm you if we could help it."

Yume nodded solemnly. The optimal answer wouldn't work out unless Hawkmoth was out of the picture, anyways. "Those are all the major things. I still would like time to consider this, though... and I need to make sure Ryuji is okay with it, too."

"Take all the time you need," the Lê Chiếns assured her. "We'll wait, and we'll understand. This won't affect our friendship, right?"

Yume beamed a little. "I'm so glad that it won't."

.) putting these in the same spot cause i listen to the together frequently but Musik Von Harmonia by Harmonia and Ralf und Florian by Kraftwerk

.) Hard to pick a steve reich one but its tied between Four Organs/Phase Patterns album and the Drumming/Six Pianos/Music for Mallets etc album. I dont think phase patterns is his strongest work but its probably that album just cause that recording of Four Organs always knocks me out and brings me SUCH happiness and feeling

Having A Rave Up With The Yardbirds - rly this year been listening to lots of rock like rolling stones and patti smith radio ethiopia and having a rave up is def one of my fav rock albums smokestack lighting is amazing and all the jeff beck studio cuts are great that mixture if cutting edge heavy guitar in pop song format is pulled off so well
