Housano's LIVE-A-HALF-ASSED Summaries presents: Pubraseer and the Infinite Radness Final Part: Being Human

We wake up in pure darkess, but comment on how it feels nice. We then hear Orbiter's voice and opens up his screen allowing us to see the view of Earth, the Moon and the Archimedes. We lost consciousness shortly after the fight concluded and Orbiter placed us inside his suit until we awoke. He then gets into the memories he has buckle up kiddos it's going to be another bumpy fucking ride

In the flashback, we hear an individual recording their final thoughts inside Orbiter as their oxygen supply is running low. They recount how they were involved in an intergalactic war as a spacewalker and was attacked by enemy troops having their tether broke and has been drifting off into space. All mobility and communication devices have been damaged and they accepted they will die. They ask Orbiter to end the mental health program which turns off the Mountain view and returns to the infinite vastness of the sea of stars. They comment how beautiful it is, and how they wish they could have been an astronauts: travel space, explore new planets, go on adventures. As their oxygen begins to reach its end, they admit being scared but will face it head on. They make a final request for Orbiter to save their memories and consciousness into his free memory. However, there is not enough memory or time for his full consciousness to be transferred so they ensure that Orbiter will fulfill their wish and see the stars. They remove themselves from the suit, mouth the name "Orbiter" and with their last bit of strength push Orbiter away before he shuts down.

Orbiter says he is sad even though he doesn't know anything about that person but he still feels profoundly sad and empty. He still feels the need to help that person and reveals the Orbiter is the name of the suit which is why everyone calls him that. He wonders if the sadness he felts was because he couldn't save that individual, but he realizes he wants to fulfill that person's wish and more, than anything, he wants to be human. We assure him, despite his mechanical nature, the fact he cares, wants to help makes him just as human and he needs to be loved (just like anybody else does). This causes him to start crying and hug himself to hug MC.

Pubra, Gasei and Youtaro finally catch up with Orbiter and are relieved to find out that MC is with Orbiter. Apparently everyone scattered after the boss died. As a reward for their victory, the moon is bathed in a beautiful blue light from all the Ether particles being released. When we return to the colony, Youtaro and Gaisei part ways as it would not be wise for villains to be at a gathering of heroes. After Askashi freaks out on disappearing, Huckle thanks Pubra-chan for protecting us, which Pubra said it was a team effort that they were all successful.

Crowne complements Orbiter on his craftsmanship of his spaceship and if he wants advice he can always come to her. Orbiter then goes to Flammei and Andrew and apologizes for all the trouble he caused (including the false terrorist report). He admits that he won't run from the truth anymore and that he has his own dream now: to be a hero and fight alongside all of us. Flammei and Andrew apologize for not being considerate of his feelings and promise to help make his dreams come true.

Then we get to Denebora, whom confirmed all the unconscious examiners' memories were intact though the exam was cancelled, the ship he spent all his money on was destroyed by the kaibutsu, and he is stuck on the colony unable to work as a bounty hunter (he really is the Barguest of Live a Hero). Flammei interjects and offers him a job as well as accomodations to help with the cleanup and restoring everything. Additionally, Hydoor, Subaru and Pubra all agreed to write him recommendations for the exemplary and excellent actions he showed as a hero. The stream of good news leaves poor Denebora completely shocked (I honestly don't blame him).

We end the celebratory events back on Earth with the people admiring the beautiful blue moon.

🎃Halloween ad in Servamp🎃

We all know that Halloween is near, so I'm planning on doing a lot of Halloween drawings for servamp, since it ends this year 🥲. But since I'm really bad at finishing on time, I thought I could get this one ahead of me so I can finish it on time.

I have already advanced a couple of characters but I feel that it is possible to do more, so I will draw all the possible characters and the ones with the most votes here will be prioritized.

(Freya and Mahiru are advancing so they will be out of the votes.)

If you select a character, I will accept recommendations for their costume since I don't have an idea for everyone. And even if I don't manage to paint most of it, at least I'll leave it in a nice sketch to complete the challenge. ❤️

Hyuse and His Sweet Tooth: The Birth of a Taiyaki Fan

Characters: Hyuse x Taiyaki haha Tamakoma members (Hyuse | Youtarou | Konami) Summary: Hyuse, the proud Aftokrator warrior, getting so comfortable with Tamakoma's food that he starts gaining a little weight. Since he got hooked on taiyaki, here’s a cute story about how it became his favorite.

Note: Ah, yes, to grab Hyuse by the stomach. Hyuse trying to rationalize his new love for Japanese food while the rest of the Tamakoma team can't stop teasing him is hilarious.

When Hyuse first arrived at Tamakoma as a P.O.W., everything in the meeden world fascinated him — but he’d never admit it. From the gadgets to the fashion, everything was different from Aftokrator. However, one thing he absolutely couldn't figure out was the strange obsession everyone had with food. He never understood why meedens cared so much about eating things that didn’t even boost trion levels.

One day, Youtarou and Konami dragged Hyuse along with them to a local festival. Despite his aloof attitude, Youtarou was determined to get Hyuse to try some festival food. "You have to try it! It’s super fun!" Youtarou chirped, waving a piece of taiyaki under Hyuse’s nose.

"Fun? It’s food," Hyuse deadpanned, crossing his arms.

Konami, already munching on her own taiyaki, grinned. "C’mon, Hyuse! You’ve gotta lighten up! Besides, it's good. Try one!"

Hyuse hesitated for a moment. His pride wouldn’t let him admit he was curious, but he couldn't completely ignore the delicious smell. Finally, with an air of reluctant superiority, he took the taiyaki from Youtarou. “This better not be a waste of time,” he muttered, taking a bite.

The warm, sweet red bean paste hit him immediately. His eyes widened ever so slightly. The crispy, golden-brown exterior contrasted with the smooth sweetness inside. He wasn’t prepared for the delightful taste explosion in his mouth. For the first time since arriving in the human world, Hyuse was completely caught off guard.

"...Well?" Konami asked, eyes sparkling with amusement.

"...It’s acceptable," Hyuse said, trying to play it cool as he took another bite. But the way he devoured the rest of it told a different story.

From that day on, Hyuse found himself subtly seeking out taiyaki at every opportunity, much to the amusement of the rest of Tamakoma. Youtarou always teased him, offering him taiyaki whenever they had an outing, and Hyuse never refused. Even Jin caught on, slyly leaving taiyaki on the counter whenever Hyuse was around.

Little by little, it became a running joke in Tamakoma. Whenever Hyuse was seen eating taiyaki, someone would inevitably say, "There goes Hyuse, adding one more kilo to his weight!"

Despite the teasing, Hyuse secretly enjoyed it. Though he'd never admit it out loud, he found the simplicity of taiyaki to be one of the human world’s best-kept secrets — and something that, for once, wasn’t a battle or a struggle. Just a simple pleasure.

Now whenever anyone sees Hyuse at a festival or near a food stand, he’s probably either holding a taiyaki or looking for one!

Housano's LIVE-A-HALF-ASSED Summaries presents: Pubraseer and the Inifinite Radness Part 6: In Which Youtaro is the MVP

We are now wrapping up the battle that ended part 5, with Gaisei and Youtaro tag teaming one group and Pubra-chan finishing off the remaining lot. Pubraseer thanks us for reminding him of his original goals and, stroaking the jewels on his hilt, said it feels like his friends are fighting alongside him and vows to use his newfound power to honor those who called him Captain and to shown how much he has grown as a Hero and Leader.

Denebora catches up with us and said he clared the enemies by the entrance, but noticed not only were they heading to the light source, but something was off. Youtaro mentioned they felt not like real kaibutsu and we confirm that all the kaibutsu we fought so far were offshoots of the main body. Shockinlgy when the light dissipates and the kaibutsu disappear, several unconscious people appear. We get a communication from Monomasa and team and they agree to focus their efforts on protecting the public while .

Denebora agrees to stay behind and protect the unconscious operators and Pubraseer suggest Orbiter stay behind as well while the rest of us go after the main body. Orbiter gets upset and says that astronauts do not abandon their captain, that he has to go with us. He confesses that there is nobody inside the suit, . He doesn't remember anything before coming to the moon, not even his real name. He was found by Andrew and everyone lied to him about being human, such as doctors saying they were giving him anesthesia even though they were shutting off his power (even if he is an AI program, I feel incredibly bad he is going through this existential crisis). Pubraseer hugs Orbiter to offer comfort like the perfect cinnamon roll he is and Denebora apologizes for forcing him to bring up such personal matters. Orbiter says it's okay. The only thing he remembers was teh line "I want you to travel the vast universe on my behalf" and that is why he wants to desperately be an astronaut. Pubra said Orbiter reminds him of his younger self and comrades, who tragically perished and agrees to take Orbiter with him as long as he promises him not to push himself to hard.

Elsewhere, Subaru and Hydoor are about to be overwhelmed by the amount of Kaibutsu, only to be saved by Ryekie and the gange along with Exio's merry crew. Huckle said the priority now is to rescue and protect citizens.

Back to our main party, we are having difficulties accessing the control room. Luckily Youtaro had the foresight about this and snagged one of the employees' cards to gain access. He said it was a deseperate situations and hands us the card as a sign of good faith. In side the control room we document the errors and symbols to Crowne. Youtaro also suggests taking a photo of the history logs to Crowne as well (he's kind of moving into my Ride or Die category in this episode). We also figured the main body is going towards the ether core for energy which will be a catastrophic situation for the entire colony. This time Gaisei finally gets to break down the door and we get ready to engage for battle.

I'm such a sucker for scenes where a character loses control and only that one person can bring him back - BUT! What I appreciated most about this moment was that it wasn't the cliche hug, thank you Tanaka Sensei.
