"The archsage robes make Soren look like a little kid wearing an adult's clothes" you know what that's because he is a kid wearing an adult's clothes. Those robes were almost certainly designed specifically for Pelleas who is a tall and thin man, and they tend to look better on older characters like Bastian. Tormod and Ilyana for instance just look weird as archsage imo.

Its those gosh darn huge shoulders. Why are the robes designed so top heavy??

I guess it just goes to show once again how much Soren still looks like a kid in RD

Cause look, with adult proportions (more like Pelleas) The shoulder and neck area looks less like its trying to eat his head. It looks slightly less heavy too (why are there so many layers to this outfit though?? Looks like it weighs 100lbs).
