Does the Raven queen care about Siron at all or is he just another mortal to her?

Depens entirely on how we define care in the context, as she is the matron of death.

She watches him and does have a bit of like sympathy for him. But she is not her children, she will never bend the rules for anyone mortal or not, no matter the pain it causes her or them. this is why Shar had to keep siron fro going past limbo, because the raven mother would have halted the ritual as it is one of the highest perversions of natures natural order, as you are harnessing the blood of time to rewrite history.

Omg I can finally yap about yesterday’s session.

Session 108 DMs notes under the break :D

So the session opened to one of the final trials of the south Warren games. The players, unlike everyone else, were transported to the limbo between the planes, a place really only accessed in passing by mortals often inhabited by the eldritch beings and those created of the wild magic of the planes.

This was really fun for me to write cause the in between of planes is always something I’ve always thought about and places that the eldritch and GOO might make their home away from the prying eyes of everything. like dnd talks about the established gods and planes so often in the source books, what about the gaps left in the inbetweens, the things that hide in the darkness. thats the shit right there i live for.

Anyways the coolest thing I did and I’m still immensely proud of is the song of the false Hydra. I re wrote the lullaby of Woe from Witcher 3, into Lullaby of the Damned which was sung by the archfae (and later the false hydra its self) who lead them into the False hydra's town. A song warning of the Beldam (the false hydra), who dooms those found alone but can only be heard by those who are already doomed to their fate. Ironic that the song that dooms those who hear it warns them of their fate.

I’ve been itching for a chance to use one, but to get one into the campaign setting and realistically keep contained kept being issues. Cause I’m a town where towns don’t really talk, they shift constantly how far apart they are ect, that would primo false hydra hunting grounds. So putting it in a contained kinda off shoot reality that is a trial for South Warren was the perfect chance. Cause if you survive that you’ve got the guts and brains to survive it all, and if not….

anyway false hydra was very fun, next session we do it all over again :D
