1. all i know is i can't let go by @tooindecisivetopickaurl - So, wanting to kiss Wille—it wasn’t nothing. It was a kind of warmth he hadn’t felt in years, like he could lay down all his worries for a little while and everything would somehow be alright. He didn’t know whether that was terrifying or the closest thing to magic he’d ever experienced.

2. Hetero of the Year by @girls-are-weird - Prince Wilhelm is nominated for the Hetero of the Year award at the QX Gay Gala. In response, he freaks out. Simon, his popstar friend who's been pining for him for the better part of a year, worries this might mean Wille's secretly homophobic. After all, what other reason could there be for him to get so upset?

3. I Want You to Want Me by SkuldTheNorn - After they got together on film night, there still are some things to clear up. Wille and Simon try their best to talk it out. 4. have i known you for twenty seconds or twenty years? by @prince-simon - Still basking in the novelty of their relationship, Wille and Simon celebrate their first New Year's Eve together.

5. One, two, three, four, five, sex on my mind by @pagegirlintraining and @the-amber-fox - When Wille first sees Simon, the rest of the world simply fades away. Which would be romantic and all, if it didn’t lead to him blindly stumbling into the sex shop Simon works at. Once he figures out his mistake, it’s already too late. But Wille wouldn’t be Wille if he let that stop him from pursuing the most beautiful boy he’s ever seen.

Young Royals analytical thoughts pt. 1

I had this thought about the kissing scene in S2E5…

What if Wille makes his mind up about the speech, at least in some way (even subconsciously) when he and Simon have that time alone *with* the curtains closed?

Throughout the show, there is this consistent image of Wille taking the time to breathe/inhale Simon in. We hear it in the sound mixing, and we see it in scenes where Wille is thinking or dreaming of Simon. But in this episode, Wille actually gets to do it — he finally gets to fulfill that wish of holding Simon in his arms once more, of taking in Simon’s smell and presence after what feels like forever. And Wille realizes, in that moment, that he won’t be able to live with just the thoughts or the dreams any longer. He deeply needs Simon in the flesh.

Wille will never be satisfied unless he has Simon there with him, by his side, in his arms — in actuality instead of just in his head. And so, yes, when Simon pulls Wille aside before the jubilee and tells him so sweetly that he loves him, this just solidifies the notion already sprouting in Wille’s mind to speak the truth and reveal it all. It reinforces the realization that Wille cannot “bow down” or settle for what other people think is best for him. So, Wille chooses the undeniably beautiful, bone-deep, and mystifying love he has found with Simon, because this is the real thing he can’t live without.

So, Wille’s speech is not only a way of making up for past mistakes with Simon, but it is also a way to atone with himself for finally doing what he knew he wanted to all along. He sets everything ablaze, and I think it is possible that this scene is where he first strikes the match.

And I can’t wait to watch the inferno spread when season three premiers tomorrow (raise your hand if you’re losing your mind🖐🏻)

one of my fav moments of the show is in s2 ep5 - when simon knocks on wilhelm's door to check on him because he didn't appear in class. The fact that he's worried about him, is seen in his eyes and all of omar's amazin acting. They are so soft with each other in the talk like "I am not going to the police to hurt you" aah this scene is so beautifully both written and acted!!

Boris Vs Nils

Let's have a heart to heart: Therapist Boris goes up against Nils who had his moment in deep conversation with Wille.

Boris: In the last two rounds the Birkenstock Socialist (fond) took out both security guard Malin and Choir teacher. The last race? Yeah he took her *down*. 89.9% of the vote went to him. He's good at having the deep talks, even a professional. But can he beat Nils when it comes to heart to hearts?

Nils: Nils has been doing well the last two rounds. He overthrew both Alexander Bragé and his best friend Vincent. And that last one? 78% of the vote went to him. He's had a least one deep talk before, but can he beat Boris when it comes to heart to hearts?

Turns out young royals is back on their bullshit in (most of) s2

again with the emotional pain guys

s2e1: “simon: goes out with another guy* wille: threatens the entire monarchy and tries to renounce his title”

s2e2: “the queen wants to see august at the palace. He does not looked pleased with this. Also, wille knows for sure that Simon on went out with Marcus.”

s2e3: okay so this one wasn’t as bad “wille appears to have wrecked things with felice. They lost the rowing match(?) and simon quit the team. The queen doesn’t think wille can handle taking over.”

s2e4: this one was actually pretty good. I can only really think of one thing which is “I’m pretty sure Marcus saw wille and suspects that he and Simon were up to something”

s2e5: okay so I actually can’t think of anything about this ending. maybe “August is going to get in trouble with the police when Simon reports him”?

s2e6: OH MY JESUS CHRIST!! This was the best one yet! However “wille confessed to being in the video and a shit ton of people took videos so it’s gonna be on their internet soon, and the queen and her gang are pissed so wille will have to deal with the consequences” and “Sara called the cops to report a crime, but we don’t know her plan with that yet and it could turn south” also wille smiled when he looked into the camera?!

*(Is that even what it was though? I don’t remember if simon did it in the context of a date or not)
