York Compressors & parts holds a considerable market share as the main distributors and suppliers of HVAC products of many esteemed companies worldwide and especially in UAE. Competition is on the rise but there is also rise in malpractices, some competitors are trying to spread fake news giving rise to fake beliefs just to squeeze their clients into unnecessary purchases and repairs. To ensure customer confidence and in the interest of reciprocating to our customer’s trust in us, we are exposing some of the fake news that must be exposed.

1. Good quality pressurized air equals to high spending.

This is untrue, it has been noted as per our client feedbacks especially for the York Screw Compressors be it MTS45 & DXS45 or even York PC84 that when a customer follows basic measures of timely checking, servicing, and maintenance, choosing proper machine capacity based on their usage as well as optimal upgrading the overall spending can be controlled or even lowered if the cost is compared to overall business output.

2. Continuous flow of air is essential for temperature control.

There are variations in weather not just during the different seasons but even during the different times of the day. For example, if we consider a process that may need a fairly constant temperature, may not necessarily need a constant flow of air. We have helped several clients that use the York Twin Screw Compressors to use this knowledge to save their cost in power consumption.

3. Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are unnecessary.

Many consumers avoid AMC considering it as cost saving measure as well as to avoid general inconvenience, but such beliefs are farthest from reality. To give you a worst case scenario which in fact is a common occurrence, is that due to an absence of regular upkeep some part may develop a problem that leads to either the part replacement or a complete machine breakdown that may cost much more than an AMC or will cause a far more severe inconvenience.

4. Generic parts can be used instead of the parts produced by a manufacturer.

A manufacturer has a far better insight in to a machine’s interiors and the materials used, so the replacement parts made by them are best suited as compared to generic parts and also due to various quality factors. Using parts supplied by the manufacturer will increase the machine’s productivity and durability thus keeping your costs optimal. Generic parts may lead to quality depreciation of the machine over an extended period thus increasing your cost considerably. 5. Air leaks equals to whistling sound.

This is an old notion that may seem logical but with the increase in machinery as well as their sizes there is much more commotion around us as compared to a decade earlier. Thus the sound test is actually not a perfect way of testing air leaks which is a problem that may cost a lot in terms of wastage of pressurized air as well as the wasteful power consumption.
