Making my quirk. Back before I learned I was aquadrant (both romantically and sexually) I had a lot of rocky relationships. Specifically moirails. I live in a tundra and am very isolated from my peers (both by choice and my necessity) and so when I get close to someone and start feeling friendship (or hate friendship) I immediately thought "oh this must be what love felt like" and pursued that relationship. Quadronormality amirite? Anyway, these all start differently but end the same way: With my now ex then current quadmate going "I feel like I'm putting more effort into this relationship than you are" or "I don't think you love/hate/pity me as much as I hate/love/pity you I'm breaking things off". Each time I was kinda bummed but got over it way too quickly. Cue my surprise when I met someone and told them about this and they went "I think you're aquadrant spec".
