Experiment 502
Yang
Primary function: To spout balls of lava
He is designed to attack people by shooting fire balls of lava from the spouts on his back. He can also heat solid ground beneath his feet. Jumba believed that he and Experiment 501 (Yin) would be immensely destructive together and create giant explosions if they ever touched.
Instead, it turned out they work together perfectly and creatively: together, they can make new rock, land and islands. As a result, their names are derived from the concept of yin and yang; in Yang's case his name stems from the force of yang, which is associated with masculinity, fire, and heat, fitting his nature.
One true place: Creating a new island with Experiment 501 (Yin)

In May of 2023, I drew experiments 501, 502, and 509 from Lilo and Stitch on their days! The top hosts Sprout, a plant dragon like experiment that can become an uncontrollable jungle unless contained, and Yin and Yang, water and lava spewing experiments who make islands together. They're drawn in kimonos due to their name heritage.

Biggest mistake of Miraculous Ladybug was putting a lot less emphasis on the Yin Yang/ balance theme (in terms of character devalopment. Marinette and Cat boy, whichever version of him, being opposites in nature yet compliment and learn from each other).
Do you agree?
From how the show ended up being, I get the vibe that TA never really wanted to write Ladybug & Chat Noir... and just wanted to write Ladybug. It was like that at inception and even now LB is given an absurd amount of focus and importance, despite that initial stretch of development and S1 implying that they are a Yin-Yang Dynamic.
IIRC, the Black Cat miraculous is eventually demoted to "just another miraculous", even though its later shown that Plagg and Tikki are the same person split in two like a reverse Gem Fusion or some kind of Tuvix thing. The show keeps implying that they are on the same wavelength- equal but opposite in power: but they are so very clearly not as.. like I said, The Ladybug miraculous- and Ladybug by extension, is the single most important player in the game.
(There's an easy remedy that would justify the reason as to why the cat and bug HAVE to be active at the same time: Each has their own power and the ability to dispel akuma. and then make the miraculous cure into a combo move that must be performed together. To prevent widespread destruction and minimize loss of life, it must be this particular duo of miraculous. But as of now, and assumedly forever, the black cat does not need to be a part of the equation- and it would theoretically be safer to hide away the cat so that if the bug is compromised, the fate of the world may be saved: even if Paris cannot be.)
The frustration at loss of that yin-yang/opposites attract dynamic isn't an insistence that LB be should be overshadowed or overthrown in her own show- as many often claim. I've seen MANY takes and videos that insist that Adrien should be the star of the show- and while I agree that Adrien should be more proactive than reactive, I can deffo argue otherwise. He (and cat noir as extention) can exist as an intriguing deuteragonist and not dethrone LB- there is a reason Belle is the main character and not the Beast.. consider Lilo and Stitch? and of these characters, who have the stories more intertwined and intimate with the conflict at hand? Beast has the darker backstory, Stitch is more intertwined with the conflict- as it's about HIM specifically. But they are not the Protagonists. Belle and Lilo are because their movies are about them. Marinette's story isn't interesting. She has no genuine conflict. She has no uncle ben moment. She has no drive to be anything more. Even her relationship with her bullies isn't supplemented with a "I'm different or weird" conflict. She's the perfect little girl. She's good at everything, she's a prodigy. Her clumsiness is charming.
TLDR: The story would be better if they did have a yin/yang thing. Opposites- (they don't have to be enemies!) and realy played into the love square as a conflict and a back-and forth. If ML wants to tell an overarching story, then characters must grow to be interesting.
The story would also be better if Chat Noir did not exist at all, because we would waste less time trying to make a character fit in a story where he is not welcome. But I don't think it would be popular without him. Not when people are horny for adrien.

For the IOTA Fandom Check Game, might as well check if you've seen Disney's other action shows. Kim Possible, American Dragon Jack Long, Lilo and Stitch, Yin Yang Yo, Motorcity, Randy Cunningham Ninth Grade Ninja, Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder, Ducktales (old or new), and Amphibia.
I’m familiar with pretty much all of those shows except Ying Yang Yo and Motorcity.

A Look At Stuff You Probably Never Heard Of: Lilo & Stitch: The Series
I’ve actually had this one on my mind for a good while, and why I previously took A Look At “Stitch! The Movie” a while back. I often see people talk about the original Lilo & Stitch movie, but almost never the rest of the series. I also wanted to talk about this before, but decided to take A Look At “Stitch” in case some were unaware of it. So, yeah. Today... Lilo & Stitch: The Series!
Tumblr media
Lilo & Stitch: The Series is an animated TV show that serves as a sequel spin-off to the original Lilo & Stitch movie, with Stitch! The Movie serving as a pilot episode/movie, similar to Buzz Lightyear: Star Command. The series premiered on ABC Kids on September 20th, 2003 with a delayed premiere on Disney Channel on October 12th of the same year. It would run for 65 episodes across 2 seasons, ending on July 29th, 2006.
Tumblr media
At the end of “Stitch!”, a struggle in Earth’s lower atmosphere between Gantu and Lilo & Stitch causes the container housing 623 deactivated experiments to break open, causing their pods to rain down all across Hawaii. Due to the experiments being in a dehaydrated state, contact with any form of liquid will reactivate them, causing them to begin causing trouble, based on their nature and what Jumba had in mind. Lilo convinces the Grand Councilwoman to let her and Stitch rehabilitate the experiments, giving them a home and so they won’t cause trouble. And due to the fact that it’s Jumba’s experiments running amok, he’s tasked with helping the two find and captured the experiments. Pleakely is also left behind, due to his knowledge on Earth customs. Gantu and 625 are also left stranded, after Gantu’s ship is short-circuited and they crash in Kaukai
As for the show itself, each episode follows a different experiment, having just be re-activated and causing some sort of trouble. Each episode has its own plot, such as Experiments-501 and 502, Yin-Yang, having Lilo and Stitch argue over which experiment to go after, leading the two to split and capture each experiment on their own with the help of tools Jumba and Pleakly gave them. Or Experiment-300, Spooky, being about characters being faced with their worst fears because of the experiment in question.
Each episode follows a similar structure; an experiment is activated, Gantu (who still has the container) and Jumba (and by extension, Lilo and Stitch) learn about it, Lilo & Stitch try to find and capture the experiment before Gantu does (usually the experiment either changing hands or escaping), and by the end of the episode, the pair befriend the experiment and they use their abilities to help society.
Tumblr media
As stated, each episode is about capturing an experiment causing trouble and giving them a place to belong. However, each episode is self-contained, rather than serialized with little to no references to other experiments outside of an occasional reference. Though some episodes do have a previous experiment become involved, most notably with the episode focusing on Experiment-624, Angel.
Tumblr media
There were also a few crossover episodes with other Disney cartoons that were airing around the time. These shows being Recess (down-to-earth cartoon about kids at school with plots being far more relatable, like crushes or getting in trouble), American Dragon: Jake Long (Chinese-American boy can transform into a dragon and is training to be the protector of the magical world, secret from the human world. Also, the main character is voiced by Dante Bosco), Kim Possible (teenage cheerleader who also fights crimes across the world, similar to James Bond while trying to balance school life), and The Proud Family (suburban family getting into wild and wacky misadventures, similar to Family Guy or The Simpsons in terms of absurdity and humorous physical injuries). Just like the rest of the show, each involves an experiment, with the crossover characters helping the protagonist deal with said experiment.
And once again, it’s time for the Final Recommendation: Never Let Go Of It||Get It||Hold Onto It||Try It||Consider It||Stay Away From It
The show still has the same feel as the original movie. However, due to the lack of a major over-arching story, each episode is pretty basic, which is a good and bad thing. On one hand, you can jump into any episode with little issue. But on the other, the status quo remains largely the same and characters don’t change much from episode.
One issue people often have is the introduction of a kid named Keoni, a laid-back boy about Lilo’s age and the object of her affection, sometimes competing with Mertle for his attention. When he’s around, Lilo tends to lose sight of the current objective, typically completely ignoring Stitch, and by extension, the experiment, focusing on trying to impress Keoni or just not look like a fool. One episode has Lilo embarrass herself in front of him and the main focus of the episode is Lilo using Jumba’s time-travel invention to change the past, but each time she does something different, a major catastrophe happens. The experiment is captured, but isn’t the focus.
I also previously mentioned Experiment-624, Angel. She’s a fan-favorite character introduced as Stitch’s love-interest. Her appearance is basically a female Stitch, but has the ability to turn any experiments made before her back into evil with her Siren-like song. Stitch and 625 are unaffected, being created after her.
And despite the show being more comedic, there are more heavy moments. Like when Spooky is on the loose (the episode in question is a Halloween episode), characters facing their fears gives insight into their character. Of course, Stitch is terrified of water. However, Jumba fears his ex-wife, Pleakly fears his mother, Lilo is afraid of clowns and of an abandoned house, while Nani’s worst fear is Cobra Bubbles coming to take Lilo away. Another episode takes palce on the anniversary on Nani and Lilo’s parents, having the two deal with their loss.
While the show would eventually end, it would have a post-series movie called “Leroy & Stitch” to wrap everything up.
Well, that’s everything I wanted to share. If you want to see the series, it’s available on DIsney Plus. I’ll see you guys next month for Christmas.

Scenario continuation with dialogue- HIM's eyes started to glow as the ice started to melt more quickly. Oh he's furious.
Slushy took a deep breath and let out a stronger blast of ice at HIM, trying to stop the melting. "Find Yin!" Jumba said. Freezing the water that experiment fires should help...
"Alright," Lilo said, her and Stitch running off to try and find Yin.

Thinking about future worlds
I think they should bring back the Lilo and Stitch world in a future KH game
The Wayfinder Trio would get to see Stitch and other characters again, and also meet new characters such as Lilo
Sora, and potentially other characters too like possibly Kairi, would also get to meet everyone else in Stitch's world
IT'D BE AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO BRING BACK THE OTHER EXPERIMENTS AGAIN!!!! We already got a taste of that with Sparky being in BBS, think of the potential with everyone else too! I'm talking Angel, Reuben, Felix, Clip, Yin, Yang, Houdini, Shortstuff, Elastico, Yaarp, Slugger, literally all of them
Overall, it'd be absolutely amazing and incredible
Please Nomura please
