Yesica Nery Plata vs. Kim Clavel - 1/13/2023

Mexican light flyweight star Yesica Nery Plata (29-2) has been on a run since 2018. She's got wins over a lot of top fighters around the weight class - Silvia Torres, Sandra Robles, Yesica Bopp, and most recently Kim Clavel. That run has netted her the WBA and WBC light flyweight titles.

Now she is headed to Germany, where she will attempt to defend her title against German boxer Sarah Bormann (17-0) this Saturday (Dec. 16).

Jessica Nery Plata (28-2) is one of the top boxers on the planet and left off all the P4P list because English speaking panelists don’t actually follow the sport. The Mexican light flyweight is the current WBA champion and has unification on her mind.

She is traveling to Canada this Thursday (Dec 1) to face off against WBO champ Kim Clavel (15-0).

Sarah Bormann vs Yadira Bustillos - 5/13/2023

German Sarah Bormann (18-0, 7 KOs) is finally taking a huge step up in competition this week as she is set to move up to light flyweight and challenge for some world titles. Bormann will challenge for the WBC and WBA titles at 108lbs when she faces off with Yesica Nery Plata (29-2) this Saturday (Dec. 16).

Kim Clavel vs Yesenia Gomez - 7/29/2022

Despite a spirited effort, Kim Clavel (16-1) lost the WBC light flyweight title in her most recent outing against Yesica Nery Plata. It was a good fight. So now Clavel will have to earn another crack at the title. 

First up in her revenge tour will be Naomi Arellano Reyes (9-2). The two are set to fight this Friday (May 12).
