To be honest, it DOES have pacing issues, the second half needed more space to be it's own thing, but that just means the dlc could've easily been 10-20 more quests at the end to provide more space, supposedly 7.1 (which I haven't played yet) covers more on the stuff I wanted to see more from the msq, so that makes me excited. I do feel like it either should've covered succession more to provide more foundation and not rush the story as much leaving a big spoiler death at the end leaving people wanting more and broaching the entire second half in patch content for the dlc, but I did really like the more laid back aspect, especially after endwalker.

thanks to all the dawntrail criticism, i’m rapidly learning that what other people think of as “pacing issues,” i think of as necessary time spent getting acquainted with a new environment, its history and the folks that live there. what they felt was a slog, i felt was the equivalent of going on vacation and submersing yourself in rich, previously unknown cultures.

so basically what i mean to say is i have a true adventurer’s spirit and everyone who gripes about this expansion’s pacing is a loser. (SORT OF a joke. but also not really. but also really. but also n)

i love the fairy Timmy au, its living rent free in my brain

i gave it my own little spinn on it

basically Cosmo, Wanda and Timmy somehow convinced the fairy counsel to let them adopt Timmy

Timmy signed the fairy certificate and became one permanently (making Ymmit appear, he gets thrown into anti fairy world right away)

i saw somewhere that peri is canonically around 20 years old in a new wish which will make Timmy around 30 years old

Timmy is not a fairy godparent himself, however he became the new author of the rewritten da rules from anw

since he was the one that exploited the loopholes of the old one the most, he was the perfect fairy to rewrite the book (with Jorgen reviewing it over before publishing) and ruining the fun for Dev lmao

in the battle of big wand Timmy gets thrown into the prison with his parents and brother, and it plays out like in the drawings

this would also be where he is "canonically" first shown on the show

anyway Timmy is living his best life as a fairy rn
