I thought a lot about what happened between Hwajeong and Youngguk and how that effects our YeoYu ship.

Before I go on my rant, Lee Bong Ryun deserves all the awards for her outstanding performance.

We see a very heart broken Hwajeong chose herself. She doesn't want to get married again but has a hard time letting go of the ex. Which I think we all agree they shouldn't get back together.

Enter Cho Hui. Who is willing to wait for Hwajeong no matter how long. She is there because she loves/cares for Hwajeong. Hwajeong, who deserves her whirlwind romance.

There's only four episode left. Can Chohui just sweep Hwajeong off her feet and go 'unnie saranghae. uri sagija'. And do all the little things for her or big things. Show Hwajeong that she is loved, she in number 1 in Chohui's life and give her all the happiness.

Amplify Korea Podcast: Episode 68

A weekly podcast focused on the independent Korean music scene outside of Seoul. This week I preview shows happening in Busan, Ulsan and Jeju, and there’s also a bunch of new music.  

Ulsan punk band Take The Paris have organized a great show at Plug In on Saturday, with bands traveling from all over the country, including Jonny’spark  who make the trip down from Seoul. No Life Music makes  a return to Busan promotion with a free show at Basement on Saturday, with My Golden Age, The Vastards, and Dancing Noodle. And there’s a show at 낮과밤 in Jeju featuring Yeoyu and Seolbin, and 주낸드.  

I checked back in on Ulsan act Lossom, who released an EP last December, and there’s new music this week from Busan acts Girin and 소음발광.

i am deeply obsessed with the way changgu goes on his tippytoes when he hugs the taller members bc it’s imperative to him that he has the upper hand in the embrace. he never usually goes for the midsection; his arms has to be wrapped over their shoulders even if he has to exert the extra effort to reach them. it’s cute...

I'm really digging the latest Naver Onstage set from Yeoyu and Seolbin. The male-female duet is remniscent of Kim Sawol x Kim Haewon, but they're a bit more folksy with bits of Dylan in the arrangement.
