Inuyasha is my favorite anime of all time . it’s what got me into anime in the first place. I watched it as a kid and fell in love with that world which got me into art and writing. so today being an adult and now they finally have a sequel my 12 year old heart is screaming . So to be able to cosplay inuYashas daughter has made me the happiest person in the world today 🥰

I’m not sure- and I don’t speak Japanese.  I’m not sure how openly discussed sexual assault is there either. Like yes these issues make the news but it’s not something I hear about. I haven't been watching the show, but I've been following the tags and I am distraught at Rin being the mother. Like Sesshomaru is my favorite character and his group as well and Yashahima gonna do this????? Like I'm just glad this show isn't cannon, but I can't go into the Sesshomaru tag without seeing this now.

I agree I’m the same way I filtered his name because o don’t want to see him nor the discourse really surrounding him so that helped a lot ! but what happened today is going to take over all the tags which is :/ more than it already had the entire tag is basically blocked out and with Rin a lot of the fears people had came true so it’s hard to really be happy as someone who doesn’t like the s*ssrin family kid show? I wish we would have gotten more with the other characters and not so much sesshomaru why the main characters became side characters I’ll never know I wish they started with this episode a lot sooner it was very anticlimactic stuff just happened maybe n/c we already knew what happened and most of us checked out they also butchered sesshomaru’s character too just pain pain pain
