SCOOP: Yash Raj Films to distribute Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in overseas territories
Around 1 ½ months are left for the release of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and the excitement is considerable. The film has caught attention due to the coming together of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff for the first time, mass appeal, grandeur and stylized action scenes, as visible in the teaser and BTS video released by the makers. And now, Bollywood Hungama has learned that besides Akshay and Tiger, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will also bring two prominent production houses for the first time.
Tumblr media
A trade source told Bollywood Hungama, “Yash Raj Films (YRF) is all set to distribute Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in overseas markets. The film is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment and is the first time that they have joined hands with YRF for distribution. They are happy to have Aditya Chopra’s reputed banner on board to release their film in foreign lands and they are confident that they’ll get the best of screens.”
An industry insider commented, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan releases on Eid. This is a great time for cinema as families come out in large numbers to catch the latest flick in the Middle East and other big markets like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia/New Zealand etc. As a result, the film has a chance to score and with YRF coming on board; they’ll surely give the film a great release that it rightfully deserves.”
YRF Distribution has distributed several films made by outside banners over the years. Some of these movies are Dunki (2023), Jawan (2023), Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023), Kuttey (2023), Drishyam 2 (2022), Uunchai (2022), Runway 34 (2022), Dabangg 3 (2019), Zero (2018), Race 3 (2018) etc. For films like Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, Kuttey etc, YRF was the distributor not just overseas but also in India.
Besides Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. It is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Incidentally, Ali began his career with Yash Raj Films and the collaboration also marks his reunion with the banner.

Udit Narayan - Bholi Si Surat 1997
Tumblr media
Dil To Pagal Hai (The Heart Is Crazy) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Yash Chopra. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. It was the third film to feature Shah Rukh Khan opposite Madhuri Dixit, with two more to come, including the international hit Devdas (2002).
Made on a budget of ₹90 million (US$2.48 million), which includes print and advertising costs, Dil To Pagal Hai grossed over ₹710 million (US$19.55 million) worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of the year. (But tbh, personally I think it's only watchable because of its soundtrack.)
The soundtrack of Dil To Pagal Hai includes 10 songs. The songs for the film were composed by Uttam Singh, while the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. Most of the songs were sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Udit Narayan. The music was a major hit among the audience, with the album becoming the best-selling Bollywood soundtrack of the year and second-most of the 1990s decade, with 12.5 million soundtrack album sales. In 2008, Chopra launched an unreleased song from the soundtrack, titled "Chanda Ki Chandni (Kitni Hai Bekarar Yeh)" sung by Lata Mangeshkar & Kumar Sanu.
"Bholi Si Surat" received a total of 71% yes votes!

★ Pathaan and The  SUPERSTARS Of Indian Cinema!
February 8, 2023
Pathaan has smashed records at the box office and it should put into no doubt who are the superstars of INDIA are. The film confirms the box office clout of Shahrukh Khan which had not gone anywhere despite the last decade not being as kind as the decade before. There was a box office change towards the end of 2000-2010 decade where digital prints allowed far wider releases on day one and as this process got bigger and bigger it meant the genre which was the forte of Shahrukh Khan was never going to get record numbers. But through the 2010-2020 decade the numbers coming with films which were not action films were still huge.
Pathaan had a guest role for Salman Khan and the public response has to seen to be believed and this should be enough for the naysayers who have appreaed due to his last few films not doing as well as expected. Stardom does not dissapear with a few films failing at the box office, just like it does not come overnight and takes many films to establish.
The Hindi film industry is probably the most secular place there is in India but the fact that the biggest stars of India over the last two decades are Muslim has not sat well in some quarters of the country and the media over the last few years. In fact the third biggest also with Aamir Khan though this is arguable with Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar in the fold as well. The cinema going audience does not care one bit about religion and within the industry nobody notices the religion baring when things get bought up from the outside. There are these non secular voices also within the industry but the way the industry has functioned for decades these people soon become outcasts and work will just dry up.
The last few years has seen this Pan India thing pop up so you have regional stars names being put up as the biggest superstars of the country laughable as it may seem. There are no doubt some great directors in the Southern industries so it is possible their films can do well in the Hindi belts but that hardly means the actors in these films become stars and superstardom is far away except for the regional one which they probably have already..
India has seen seven stars achieve megastardom and two of them are Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. The others being Dilip Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan. There is not one name in sight from regional film industries and yet today you see names like Prabhas, Yash, Allu Arjun and others put up with there with two superstars who are not only the biggest superstars of the day but among the biggest ever.
This is not to say that someone from the regional industry cannot become a huge superstar tomorrow because if the public takes to you then anything can happen but to reach the level of above names will take some doing not only for the regional stars but even for Hindi filmstars.
The simple reason why the the big superstars have come from the Hindi film industry is because the language has a wider reach. If other languages had a reach as wide as Hindi then maybe it would be a different story. Yes movies can be dubbed but that is the film reaching out and not the actor.
Basically the negativity towards the Hindi film industry has led to many claims as to which is the biggest film industry and who are the biggest stars and when the national media is like this you get the regional one badmouthing Hindi cinema as and pushing their own which is natural. But at the end of the day nothing much has changed despite the claims as the HINDI film industry easily remains the biggest film industry in India as content may go wrong but that does not change the reach.
As for the stars, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan remain the biggest stars in India and that does not look like changing for sometime yet even though the starpower may not be as big as it was other points in their careers

[ad_1] RCB associates in the IPL 2025 mega auction (PC: RCB/X) Hits RCB’s revamped squad promises explosive batting firepower, especially at their high-scoring home ground, the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The lineup boasts proven match-winners like Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Jitesh Sharma, complemented by the hard-hitting prowess of Liam Livingstone, Phil Salt, and Tim David. These players, despite all being right-hand batters, have a knack for adapting and innovating under pressure, giving RCB the potential to set or chase imposing totals. The addition of Jacob Bethell provides an intriguing left-hand option. The youngster’s fearless approach and versatility could be a trump card in key situations. On the bowling front, RCB’s new-ball attack is one to watch, with experienced campaigners like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood leading the charge. Left-arm pacer Yash Dayal, who impressed last season, offers a solid option in the powerplay to help RCB start strong. Misses However, familiar concerns linger for the franchise. Death bowling remains a glaring issue, with neither Bhuvneshwar nor Hazlewood being particularly effective at the back end of an innings. This puts added pressure on relatively untested options like Dayal and Rasikh Salam, creating a potentially precarious situation. For the Latest Sports News: Click Here Virat Kohli for RCB (PC: X) The batting lineup, while stacked with firepower, appears slightly unbalanced. Players like David, Jitesh, and Livingstone excel as finishers, while Kohli and Salt are best suited for top-order roles. This leaves Rajat Patidar as the solitary bridge between the two. Krunal Pandya, though a potential floater, has struggled against short-pitched deliveries in recent seasons, raising concerns about his reliability. Moreover, the spin department lacks a standout performer. While Krunal, Suyash Sharma, and Livingstone can contribute, they might struggle on the flat, high-scoring pitches in Bengaluru. Overall Rating: 7/10 While RCB have made strides in addressing certain gaps, persistent issues with death bowling and spin remain unaddressed. The team’s batting might paper over some cracks, but the issues with bowling persists. Only time will tell if their plans work out well. As of now, on paper, RCB are over-dependent on their batters as usual. Jatin-Lalit: Reviving Melodious Music in Bollywood
The name Jatin-Lalit evokes nostalgia and admiration among Bollywood music lovers. This legendary music duo carved an unparalleled niche for themselves in the 1990s, creating melodies that continue to resonate across generations. Known for their ability to blend soulful tunes with memorable lyrics, Jatin-Lalit’s compositions have stood the test of time. Their work, filled with emotional depth and innovative sounds, has left an indelible mark on the Indian music industry. Whether it’s the iconic love ballads from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or the energetic beats of Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Jatin-Lalit mastered the art of making songs that linger in the hearts of listeners. Their influence on Bollywood’s golden era remains undeniable, ensuring that their legacy endures.
The Beginning of a Golden Era
Jatin-Lalit began their musical journey with the 1992 film Yaara Dildara. Although the movie didn’t make waves, its song Bin Tere Sanam became an instant hit and remains a classic even today. This early success marked the start of a career that would define Bollywood’s musical landscape for over a decade. The duo’s ability to create tunes that appealed to both traditional and modern audiences set them apart from their contemporaries.
Signature Style of Jatin-Lalit
Jatin-Lalit’s signature style was deeply rooted in melody. Unlike many composers who experimented heavily with Western influences, the duo focused on creating songs that emphasized emotional resonance. Their music was often characterized by:
Simple yet powerful melodies.
Thoughtful integration of instruments like the flute, tabla, and violins.
Lyrics that perfectly complemented their tunes, often penned by celebrated lyricists like Anand Bakshi and Sameer.
Songs like Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jana Sanam (DDLJ) and Pehla Nasha (Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar) exemplify their mastery over romance and nostalgia.
Chartbusters and Accolades
Jatin-Lalit’s discography reads like a greatest hits album of 1990s Bollywood. Films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham are iconic not just for their cinematic excellence but also for their unforgettable music.
Some of their most notable songs include:
Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna — A wedding anthem that remains a staple in Indian celebrations.
Jaadu Teri Nazar — A hauntingly beautiful love ballad.
Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai — A playful and charming duet.
The duo received numerous awards and nominations throughout their career, including Filmfare Awards for Best Music Director.
Collaborations with Bollywood’s Finest
Jatin-Lalit worked with some of Bollywood’s most celebrated voices, including Lata Mangeshkar, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, and Alka Yagnik. These collaborations brought out the best in both the singers and the compositions, creating songs that have become benchmarks in Indian music.
They also had fruitful partnerships with directors such as Yash Chopra and Karan Johar, ensuring that their music perfectly aligned with the storytelling of the films.
Parting Ways and Solo Ventures
In 2006, Jatin-Lalit decided to part ways, ending a chapter that had given Bollywood some of its most cherished melodies. While both ventured into solo projects, their collective magic remains unmatched. Fans continue to hope for a reunion, but their existing body of work is a treasure trove of timeless music.
Why Jatin-Lalit’s Music Stands the Test of Time
One of the reasons Jatin-Lalit’s music remains evergreen is its universal appeal. Their compositions are not bound by trends or fads but are instead rooted in genuine emotion and musicality. Even decades later, their songs are celebrated in karaoke sessions, wedding playlists, and Bollywood retrospectives.
Conclusion: Jatin-Lalit’s legacy in Indian music is nothing short of legendary. Their ability to create timeless tunes that transcend generations is a testament to their unparalleled artistry. From soulful ballads to energetic dance numbers, their music encapsulates the very essence of Bollywood’s golden era. The focus keyword, “Jatin-Lalit,” continues to be synonymous with quality, emotion, and nostalgia in the Indian music landscape. As fans revisit their iconic tracks, it becomes clear that their contributions to Bollywood will be cherished forever.

The Timeless Melodies of Marjaavaan
The 2019 Bollywood film Marjaavaan, directed by Milap Zaveri, is remembered not just for its high-octane drama and emotional story but also for its melodious and heartfelt soundtrack. The film, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh, and Rakul Preet Singh, delivered songs that resonated with the themes of love, heartbreak, and redemption. Composers like Tanishk Bagchi, Meet Bros, Payal Dev, and others came together to create a musical score that beautifully complemented the intensity of the film’s narrative.
Tumblr media
This soundtrack holds a special place for listeners who often tune into platforms like Ruh Radio (1440 AM), a space where music comes alive with heartfelt melodies that tell stories. Many of the songs from Marjaavaan are a natural fit for such settings, bringing solace and connection to audiences who find meaning in music.
1. "Tum Hi Aana"
Singer: Jubin Nautiyal
Music: Payal Dev
Lyrics: Kunaal Vermaa
The soul-stirring "Tum Hi Aana" became the anthem of heartbreak as soon as it was released. Jubin Nautiyal’s hauntingly beautiful voice, combined with Kunaal Vermaa’s poignant lyrics, created a melody that tugged at heartstrings. This track often finds its way onto playlists of channels like Ruh Radio, especially for late-night shows where music resonates with the emotions of solitude and reflection.
2. "Thodi Jagah"
Singer: Arijit Singh
Music: Tanishk Bagchi
Lyrics: Rashmi Virag
When it comes to delivering soulful ballads, Arijit Singh never fails, and "Thodi Jagah" is no exception. The song reflects the deep yearning for love and solace amidst chaos and tragedy. Its subtle composition and heartfelt lyrics make it a favorite request for listeners of Ruh Radio, where timeless tracks like this find a nurturing audience.
3. "Ek Toh Kum Zindagani"
Singer: Neha Kakkar, Yash Narvekar
Music: Tanishk Bagchi
Lyrics: Tanishk Bagchi, A. M. Turaz
A modern remake of the classic "Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo", this song brought a touch of glamour and energy to the film. Rakul Preet Singh’s sizzling performance added to its charm. While this track stands apart from the emotional core of the film, its vibrant beats bring variety, often enlivening the mood on radio channels, where it’s featured as an upbeat interlude to balance melancholic tracks.
4. "Haiya Ho"
Singer: Tulsi Kumar, Jubin Nautiyal
Music: Tanishk Bagchi
Lyrics: Shabbir Ahmed
Another high-energy number, "Haiya Ho", is a recreation of the iconic song "Chahe Meri Jaan Tu Le Le" from Dayavan. Its dynamic vocals and fresh arrangement have made it a lively addition to music line-ups. The song, while a departure from the film’s core themes, showcases versatility in its soundtrack—a sentiment echoed by listeners tuning into channels like Ruh Radio for a mix of genres.
5. "Raghupati Raghav"
Singer: Palak Muchhal
Music: Meet Bros
Lyrics: Kumaar
This devotional track reimagines the traditional hymn Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram. With its soothing vocals and understated instrumentation, it provides a spiritual dimension to the movie’s narrative. While not a mainstream hit, tracks like this find a niche audience, often aired during reflective segments on Ruh Radio, connecting listeners with themes of inner peace and redemption.
6. "Kinna Sona"
Singer: Jubin Nautiyal, Dhvani Bhanushali
Music: Meet Bros
Lyrics: Kumaar
A romantic and breezy number, "Kinna Sona" beautifully celebrates love and togetherness. Jubin Nautiyal and Dhvani Bhanushali’s voices lend a dreamy quality to this track, which remains a favorite for listeners seeking soft, romantic melodies. Songs like this often play during evening slots on 1440 AM (Ruh Radio), when people unwind with heartwarming tunes.
Why Marjaavaan’s Music Resonates
The music of Marjaavaan captures a spectrum of emotions, from heartbreak and longing to passion and spirituality. Songs like "Tum Hi Aana" and "Thodi Jagah" continue to be celebrated for their soulful appeal, while tracks like "Ek Toh Kum Zindagani" and "Kinna Sona" bring vibrancy and romance.
For audiences of channels like Ruh Radio, the album offers an eclectic mix of melodies that resonate deeply, making it an enduring part of Bollywood’s musical legacy. Whether you’re nursing a broken heart or simply seeking a connection through music, Marjaavaan’s songs provide a cathartic and enriching experience.
