She's the eldest, the one that had to keep everything together and keep everything in line. Whether it's worrying about Parker's sickness or Bentley now showing up at her brother's door in Seoul and not telling their parents. She's supposed to be the eldest and the one taking care of the boys. Even so, a day after flying in with practically tailing after Parker and Bentley, sipping on cocoa on her parent's porch, she's exhausted. "I just want to be a good sister, Yankai. Parker's been sick as far as I remember, Bentley gets himself into trouble and I'm afraid he'll be in trouble more often. I can't...ask you to do my job." She runs her fingers through her hair. "But...helping me would at least be sitting with me, so maybe...you can do that?"

Moving on to quick notes on games I've played on Steam since June and didn't finish but left in the "maybe I'll get back to this some day" category, part 2 of 2:

A Good Snowman Is Hard to Build: Great presentation, feels good to play, but I think I've probably had enough Sokoban-derivative puzzles for one lifetime by now

Yankai's Peak: More puzzles, seems fine but didn't really grab me

The Solitaire Conspiracy: I like the idea of turning a solitaire game into some kind of spy/espionage/thriller kind of thing, but I wasn't into it enough to finish the story

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3: I was curious if any of the non-Nintendo Warriors games (not counting P5S, which I might try if I get on ok with P5R some day) would actually do it for me. This one definitely feels pretty dated, and it's not a very good PC port either. Doesn't help that I don't actually care about One Piece either

FTL: I kinda forgot to play it for several years, and now it turns out I don't really like it anyway so I wasn't really missing out

Shadowhand: Another game that mixes story and solitaire, and it's vaguely ok, but I wasn't super into either aspect of it

Dissembler: More minimalist puzzles that weren't really doing much for me

Dragon Age Inquisition: I'll probably try it again at some point if I'm bored and can get a controller to work right with it to see if that helps, but I wasn't feeling it. I've never been super invested in the Dragon Age world/story (some of the characters are great though), but also it's just super ugly? Like it's a lot more advanced than the first two games on a technical level, but the art style changes are really not pretty

King's Bounty: Dark Side: Continuing my tradition of getting bored of every King's Bounty game other than The Legend within a couple hours

Hand of Fate: I was curious about where it was going until where it went was weird/bad realtime combat, and then I learned that that's something I don't want in a card game

Devil Daggers: I am not great at this game, but I had fun learning the basic mechanics and getting better each run...but not enough fun to stick with it for more than a couple hours

Soul Calibur VI: I made a character in the character creator, then I went to start the story mode that has the tutorials in it and it wouldn't let me use that character and I had to make another one, and then it was less fun than I remember the old SC games being and I got bored and stopped

Killer Instinct: Seems ok I guess, but the feel of it wasn't clicking with me

Final Fantasy XV: So many mixed feelings. I really want to like the boy band road trip, and there are aspects of it I was genuinely enjoying, but there are just way too many things that were annoying me and added up. It's pretty decent at character interactions but absolutely terrible at exposition and conveying information about the world, and I've been spoiled by things like XC3 letting me fast travel anywhere at any time. This one could probably get its own post to include everything though

How can you say that? The entire Gu’s family judgement is so warped they would rather blame the innocent woman who died in childbirth after being horribly exploited and humiliated by her husband, as well as her innocent child who was orphaned as a baby instead of Gu Yankai or his parents who got away with getting all the Bai family’s money on top of causing the deaths of 2 women, Elder Qin Madam and Miss Bai. 

Though I guess here you also have class consciousness come into play i.e. Miss Bai is treated with contempt for marrying above her station as a merchant’s daughter, and “displacing” the high-born Qin Madam, even as the Gu family had no issue with using her dowry money to bail them out of the tight spot they were in.

Estos seres en la actualidad son PIEL DE LOBO, nuestro protagonista principal, puede generar y controlar el fuego. Toda la historia gira en torno a su presente y pasado, es una amalgama entre indio, vikingo, heavy metal, motoquero, héroe estereotípico de película de acción de los 80s, vaquero, animal, etc. , DARKLIGHT (telépata y telequinético), KIO (asimilación molecular), y SHOCKPULSE (emanación constante de energía). Estos cuatro super seres y sus asociados, los demás miembros de la Hermandad Viento Salvaje, miembros externos, colaboradores y muchas otras yerbas, emplean sus habilidades en tareas super heróicas en la búsqueda de justica... o lo que ellos entiendan por justicia, dependiendo de la situación. Es una historia violenta, sangrienta, y no apta para menores, cargada de acción y vocabulario grosero, con pintas de humor y bastante erotismo. Superhéroes, violencia, sexo, puteadas, mala leche. Un comic muy al estilo "extreme". Alma heavy metal.

La historia del buen Piel de Lobo va a ser larga, puede que a veces me demore en producirla, pero no abandonen, síganla porque yo voy a seguir siempre. En el sitio oficial de Cacique Comics hay muchísimo material extra para ver y conocer mucho más de este maravilloso universo.

Acer ambassadors SB19 and G22 take Taiwan by storm

The Acer Philippines brand ambassadors visited the Acer Headquarters in Taiwan.

Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin of SB19 and AJ, Alfea, and Jaz of G22 were in Taiwan as part of their activities as brand ambassadors for Acer Philippines. Acer awarded special honorary employee titles to both groups to express gratitude for their contribution to promoting the brand in the Philippine market.

While in Taiwan, SB19 also guested in “Atom Boyz 2,” an idol survival show. SB19 visited the Shilin Night Market with He Yankai, Huang Chongjun, and Li Jiahao. The three teenagers took SB19 to taste classic Taiwanese delicacies such as candied haws, chicken cake, stinky tofu, and sweet potato balls and played games in the night market.

G22 will also make an appearance in “Atom Boyz 2.” The group is also scheduled to perform in “Super Entourage,” a variety show hosted by the father-daughter duo Jacky and Sandy Wu. Jacky Wu is a Taiwanese TV show host and singer.

“The visit of SB19 and G22 to Taiwan was a huge success, showing how limitless their potential is. Their songs and popularity have reached other countries too. We are very proud to have them as our ambassadors,” said Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines.

“One of the reasons why our ambassadors visited Taiwan is for a very special project coming out soon. Please expect big things from us this holiday season,” said Princess Laosantos, Senior Marketing Manager of Acer Philippines.

Known as the “Kings of P-pop,” Pablo of SB19 collaborated with G22 for a stirring rendition of “Limitless,” the theme song for Acer Day 2024, held last August. The song talks about an individual’s limitless potential.

According to the latest market research data, Acer secured a 36% market share in the Philippine personal computer market in August, maintaining its leading position. From January to August this year, Acer accumulated a total market share of 32%, firmly holding the top spot and demonstrating strong market competitiveness. Additionally, Acer's notebook computers performed remarkably well, achieving nearly a 40% market share in August, highlighting Acer's leadership in the Philippine computer market.

Who would Yandere Kaito's darling be, in your opinion? What do you think he'd be like? owo

i've never really thought too deeply about yandere kaito actually, despite loving the trope so much.

i remember way back in the old days, i had a concept in mind that he had a yandere personality deep deep down, but something had to trigger it. such as someone posing a threat to someone he loves.

i don't think my yandere kaito would do anything to specifically hurt someone he loves, but would go to a great length to protect them from something that would harm them or take them away from him.

that being said, in such case, miku is most likely the object of his affection since my main vocaloid AU is kaimiku.

I HAVE ALSO had a more well thought out AU for a yangire kaito. (yangire is like yandere without the love, rather its someone who is initially gentle but snaps and becomes malicious) in such AU, he as a V1 kaito android that was supposed disabled, however somehow he reactivated and found that he and all his friends were replaced by V3 and V4 androids. so he goes murderous rampage killing them all as an act of revenge. V3 kaito being his biggest most important target, he blames him the most for everything bc he was the first enacted replacement.

so yeah thats all the concepts i've got.

um tanto, sim. ele é protetor de quem ama, mas é porque, pra ele, essas pessoas não merecem sofrer mais do que já sofreram; de fato essas pessoas não merecem nada menos do que o melhor tratamento. ele não vai sair no soco direto com alguém que ele não confia, mas saiba que ele tá de olho e vai sim partir pra briga se necessário.

yankai não é lá de gestos grandiosos. ele prefere demonstrar afeto em momentos do dia a dia: sempre abraçando e fazendo carinho na pessoa, sempre checando como ela tá, sempre fazendo companhia, ficando perto e fazendo questão de tirar um tempinho pra dedicar à pessoa... e, claro, pegando no pé dela, porque ele é insuportável! com a jojo, em especial, o bicho tá sempre grudado nela, segurando a mão dela, dando beijinho. ele também é sempre o fã número #0 de quem ama, e gosta de aprender algo que a pessoa gosta, seja como fazer o prato favorito dela (ou tentar) ou assistir o filme favorito pra entender. ele realmente tá tentando aprender a cozinhar direito pra deixar a jojo sempre bem-alimentada e feliz!! por fim, claro que o riquinho mimado materialmente precisa demonstrar afeto gastando dinheiro também, e ele ama comprar coisas pras pessoas que ele ama e se certificar de que elas têm todas as necessidades supridas, nem que seja com algo básico, tipo garantir que o armário sempre tenha cookies pra jojo.

muito bom, ele consegue tirar um cochilo de dez horas!! ok, brincadeira, mas com um fundo de verdade. não é novidade pra ninguém que ele é safado e foi um universitário que tomava muito orgulho na reputação de bom de cama (ele tinha que ser reconhecido por alguma coisa boa, né), além de que ser dançarino desde que se conhece por gente ajuda ele a saber muito bem como se mover. mas, to his credit, ele sempre foi um amante muito dedicado mesmo, muito empenhado em fazer a pessoa se sentir mais que muito bem, e ele sabe ouvir as preferências da pessoa. com a jojo, em especial, o foco dele é sempre em se assegurar que ela se sinta bem e confortável, em literalmente tudo que ele faz. ele nunca ia querer que ela se sentisse obrigada a nada, apenas que se sentisse feliz.

sim! ele trabalhou duro pra isso, tá ok! muita prática gdjskjkj ser bom de beijo é outra coisa que, na cabeça dele, fazia parte de ter uma ótima reputação na vida da piranhagem. mas ele também é muito intenso quando beija, do tipo que sempre está 100% concentrado na outra pessoa, e gosta de se adaptar aos gostos alheios. com a jojo nunca falta carinho também, mesmo que for um selinho rápido, mesmo que ele estiver rindo porque tava enchendo o saco dela até 30 milissegundos atrás. ele também sempre prestou muita atenção nela e no que ela gosta ou não, então é fácil se adaptar a isso, e ele faz com alegria.

geralmente “eu te amo” não é algo muito fácil pra ele dizer não. são palavras que carregam peso na mente dele, pelo menos quando o sentimento é verdadeiro. vamos lá, formar vínculos afetivos nunca foi a tarefa mais fácil do mundo pra ele; imagina colocar as cartas na mesa com risco de rejeição ou de uma futura decepção? além de que demonstrar sentimentos em geral nunca foi lá tão fácil pra yankai. mas com a jojo isso tudo é a coisa mais fácil do mundo, na verdade. ele fala “eu te amo” como se fosse uma verdade simples e factual, no nível de “o sol vai se pôr e nascer”. e é porque é mesmo. o mundo gira, eles se amam, e há conforto em saber disso.
