Sir Crocodile is infamous in the seas. He's a Warlord, the leader of Baroque Works, and yearns to be a king. Not only that, but he is a wielder of a Devil Fruit.

Sir Crocodile is a master of manipulation. Others may view him as a hero, others may view him as a villain. It's all in perspective... but both sides agree that he is strong.

How do you view Crocodile?

He's more than a villain to you. To you, Crocodile is your captor. He's a tyrant who picked you to be the closest one to him. Sir Crocodile does not trust many.

You doubt he even fully trusts you, if anyone at all.

Despite that, Crocodile treats you as though you two are closer than you are. You can't tell if Crocodile intends to view you as a lover... or some sort of toy. Regardless...

You always feel sick when the people of Arabasta view him as a hero.

He's no hero. As someone who's been trapped beside him below Rain Dinners, you know what he is. He's still very much a pirate... and a crime boss with many under him.

While you hate his guts, you could care less what he does. What you don't understand is why he dragged you into it. You don't know what Crocodile truly wants from you.

Are you useful to him? Are you a hostage? Does he just want to be entertained? Are you meant to be a good servant?

There's no way he's keeping you because he likes you... right?

You wish Crocodile just let you leave. You wouldn't tell a soul about his true nature. You'd live your own life, alone, happily.

It's never that easy.

In fact, you should've known it wouldn't be when you made your escape attempt.

Crocodile never leaves you alone. He usually keeps you on his lap during paperwork or meetings. That or he gives you something to do while he watches you and smokes.

It really felt... wrong that he left you unattended.

Yet you're desperate.

The moment you were given a chance to leave Rain Dinners, you took it. You knew you should've hesitated, built more trust with Crocodile. Unfortunately...

There's no building trust with Crocodile.

It was an obvious trap. Crocodile is no doubt used to your escape attempts, running out of your 'home' like a curious dog every five seconds. You were always defiant.

So he got used to it... always ready for your next move.

It was a pattern your desperation always made you fall for. Crocodile always managed to find you. Yet he made when he found you take longer and longer...

Making you think you'll get away this time... Only to find you once again.

Just to see the hope in your eyes shatter.

To show you your place.

Crocodile never likes to let go of what's his. In his mind, you belong to him. You're meant to respect him... to praise and bow to him.

So he'll catch you as many times as he needs to... Just to make sure you get the message.

"I'd think you'd learn by this point...."

Sand always managed to catch you in the end. Really, there was never anywhere you could go. Crocodile has power over the entire country... Even if you made it out of one city, let alone got to sea...

Crocodile would always find you... and obliterate anything in his path to drag you back.

Yet, as fun as that would be for him, he never lets you get that far. He likes to stop you once you realize your efforts are futile. He likes to use his powers to hold you in place... as he approaches with a smile on his face.

"This is exactly why I don't trust you... You disobey, you run, and I'm forced to take time out of my day to hunt you down." Crocodile clicks his tongue, smoke leaving his mouth from his cigar.

You stare blankly at him when you are eventually dragged back to his underwater base. Sand still seems to bind you at his will as he speaks. He looks disappointed... but not surprised.

"I don't understand you. You escape and for what? You act like you'll get far. The heat will kill you if someone from Baroque Works doesn't find you... You never seem to learn your place."

Crocodile urges you closer and you reluctantly follow. His large golden hook wraps around the back of your neck before yanking downwards. You gasp, falling to your knees as Crocodile chuckles, sitting in his chair in front of you.

"That’s where you belong. Worshipping me on your hands and knees." Crocodile hums, watching you as he uses his hook to force you into staying bowed.

"Is this life so hard to get used to? I can give you anything you want. I can spoil you, yet you fight me. All I ask for is your adoration... your devotion..."

You feel his other hand tilt your chin up, just to make you look in his eyes.

"You crave freedom over what I can give you? It's foolish. The faster you accept me as your ruler, the faster things will be easier for the both of us." Crocodile scoffs, his thumb stroking your chin and cheek gently.

You try to pull away, yet Crocodile merely pulls you forward with his hook. You're soon hoisted onto his lap despite you're struggling. You hear him laugh again... and he holds you tighter.

"You are such an annoyance..." Crocodile sighs, yet grins down at you. "But you entertain me. Someday, I'll break you. Someday you'll accept your place as mine... and when that happens..."

Crocodile leans closer, his lips ghosting your ear even as you try to pull away.

"I'll relish the day I make you mine... we'll both enjoy it, you'll see, sweetheart."

With that, you feel the warlord kiss you...

Which only seems to make you think of other ways to make his life hell... just like he did to you.

He had been looking for his ring that he had left in the bedroom when he came in. He didn't mean to frighten you nor make you uncomfortable

You were trembling when you felt eyes on your back. You knew it wasn't done out of malice, but it left you shivering. What would he think about it? Was he gonna leave you?

You felt a coat being placed on your shoulders, and arms sneaking around you, getting tighter and tighter.

Safety, that was the feeling that washed over you at the moment. He waited, looking for the right words to say.

"If you ever need to tell me, I'm open to listen. You are no less than those scars, you are more than what they think. You are a diamond among rubbish. Don't forget darling" he whispered in your ear.

It made you feel good, understood and safe. Maybe one day you'll tell him the story, but for now, those arms were your safety heaven

He saw you struggling when someone, jokingly dumped a bucket of water on you, revealing your back through the now soaked shirt.

He predicted your reaction with his haki, and promptly took action. His siblings knew what was about to happen and made sure to keep the perp far from you, they knew vaguely that you were uncomfortable with showing your back, but now they understood.

He covered you with his larger body, letting you hide in his arms. Thanking him softly, you finally felt safe for the first time.

He knew the story about the mark, but he didn't think less of you. If anything, you became a model for the entire family. You moved on, writing your own story without letting them impede you.

You were his hero, and if you needed time to become comfortable showing them, they all understood. But for now, he was there to punish whoever made you uncomfortable.

Your happiness was his priority.

You knew it was about to get bad when he unsheathed his sword. Given his new found status of pirate, the Marine hunter was about to live up to his namesake

Especially when it involved you crying in his arms, telling him brokenly about a celestial dragon and a marine that tried to get you back

He wasn't concerned with the consequences, no one was going to question him about that. But seeing you broken down, it left a sour taste in his mouth

The duo was quick work. His coat found your shoulders, covering your shaking body. His hands rubbing your shoulders while he let your vent out into his shoulders.

He didn't need words, his arms forming a barrier around you. He had your back, he had you.

No one would make you feel any less than what you are on his watch. No one.

A bit of blood was more than worthy if it meant seeing you smiling every other day.

• The Desert king, Mister Zero or his name Sir Crocodile. If one heard or seen the man it will result into fear as no one dares cross path to him.

• The yandere that knows what they want and will get it (patient/who knows when he'll appear) mix with knows it's wrong but he sees it as a way to kept you safe.

• Sir Crocodile is a walking threat, quite blunt, cold and heartless as one would describe him. It's a different story when he meets the one, not one to really express feelings but he'll show it with gifts left at your door or sent those admirer (straight to the point ones with a hole on the paper from his hook)

• Either part of a pirate crew, happen to be part of the navy or the independent ones. (likes authority or someone with feisty attitude) "Heh..I like the brave attitude you have there"

• Once he has darling than it's pretty much over. Sir crocodile would have an eye on you 24/7 unless he has business to do than it's a guard but no interaction. A former warlord/crime business man to him spoiling you is nothing (he can get you whatever without question)

• punishment is not a thing with him since he looks intimidating enough with the hook alone. Sir crocodile won't harm you but gives that look (serious one) and the lines of "escape all you want but do you know the possible threats out there let alone you're tied to me.."

Ok so just like Doflamingo, I’m not the best at writing a romantic Crocodile and I know why but they’re reasons that I won’t be disclosing to anyone that isn’t a close friend of mine

—————————————————————- So Crocodile in the Pages AU, I can personally imagine that Crocodile is the type to sit down and read a book if he doesn’t have anything else to do and although he doesn’t have any particular favorite genres

That changes when he gets his hands on the first book of your series, he usually isn’t a fan of getting into book series but let’s say that he wasn’t aware of it being part of a series like it was gifted to him as one book from someone or the seller didn’t think to tell him

Proceed to Crocodile reading the book and just like everyone else, he manages to find it somewhat interesting as the author has written it pretty well

He reads it over a while and personally I can imagine that Crocodile might not actually manage to connect to one of the characters in the story so he’s just enjoying the books although his favorite character is the MC

Upon finding out that the book is in a series after reaching the end, he’s somewhat annoyed as he unintentionally got sucked into the story of a book series and he never wanted to get into a series as he doesn’t want to have his mind occupied with yet another thing

But alas, he has and he finds himself seeking out the other books in the series which he continues to read when he has nothing else to do however soon enough he even finds himself wanting to read the series when he so much as has a few minutes to spare

As Crocodile reads these stories, he would find the MC becoming his overwhelming favorite character and there are little to no illustrations of them in the story so that’s a bit disappointing to him until you included a picture of yourself at the very end of a story to go alongside your message to the readers

He knows deep down that it isn’t what the MC looks like more than likely but something in him just can’t help but imagine the MC looking like that and it doesn’t help if you were wearing an outfit similar to one you described the MC as wearing

This man still won’t delude himself into thinking that he’s a character from the story but he can however delude himself into thinking that you might be the MC from the story and you know how people fall in love with fictional characters? Yeah, he’s falling in love

And when you’re in the middle of writing the last book in the series, let’s say that you’re on a trip somewhere to relax a bit after writing so much

You might run into an intimidating but somewhat friendly acting stranger who keeps messing up your name and referring to you as the character from your book, it’s creepy but it seems easy to get away from this man as you simply walk away after you’ve finished talking

Certainly was weird, wasn’t it? But although you continue on your way, you can’t help but feel like you’re being watched everywhere that you go like the only place that you don’t feel like you’re being watched is the bathroom and you can’t stay in there forever

So eventually at the end of the day, you just return to your room at whatever establishment you find yourself staying at currently and finally the feeling of being watched stops allowing you to wind down with a shower, maybe some reading, and overall self care before bed

As soon as you wake up though, say goodbye to life as you know it as you’re in a room that looks lovely but it’s also more terrifying than lovely because you’ve never been here before

And after a while of looking for a potential way out or something to clue you in on where you are, the locked door that you tried earlier opens up and in walks Crocodile who looks at you

He has a twisted smile on his face and you recognize him as the man from the trip that you ran into, he’s kidnapped you and was likely the person to be following you all that time

He’ll tell you good morning and welcome you home amongst other things all while referring to you with the name of the MC from your book

Welcome to your new reality, Crocodile is your loving husband and you’re the MC from the book

You can try to fight and try to run away all you want but that’s not going to work now, he’s going to catch you with little to no issue and drag you right back to his home potentially breaking one of your legs to make it harder for you to run

I wouldn’t recommend not responding to the name of the MC either as one way or another, Crocodile will force you to respond to it

Even if it means making you just as deluded as he is

Yandere Crocodile x female blind reader

I imagine Crocodile gets a peculiar kick out of his darling being blind. A sort of superiority and sense of responsibility because she's so very at a disadvantage in the world. His scars never frighten her, and neither does his tricks with sand.

She could still be freaked out though if she's not totally blind. Some blind folks have limited sight in either spots of their vision or to light, but I'm assuming total loss of vision here.

She can hear the sand but assumed it's because of the country she's in, not realizing that Crocodile has his own way of keeping an eye on her. The lingering dirt she washes away under Crocodile's supervision in his private bath a side effect of his careful watch.

Crocodile is actually quite attentive to her needs and is always draping her in the finest clothes he can get ahold of. If she happens to match his colors that a bonus. Same with food, often insisting playfully that he feeds her himself.

She's like a mix of a doll and a subservient partner in his eyes. He does everything because it's what he wants and he kinda gets off on the whole affair. That's not to say he doesn't appreciate her personality and wit, but her main draw for him is her 'helplessness' and looks. She never notices the eyes on her from whatever dress Crocodile gave her that day or the smug look he gets escorting her around with a hand on her waist and her hand resting on his hook.

If she ever complains about him being overbearing, he drags out his own troubles with having one hand and wishing that someone had been able to help him at the time. Exaggerating how soft he feels caring for her in this way like he doesn't have ulterior motives.

She's his bright spot of humanity after years of dirty dealing, he'd say.

Truth of the matter is that he's pulled a lot for strings to get her by his side and he'd pull a lot more if she ever showed signs of trying to leave. She's his pretty doll, and she's not going anywhere but in his arms and in whatever shelf he puts her.

I feel like Yandere Katakuri wants kids but would use IVF with his sperm because he's afraid of hurting his Darling. Corazon would respect your choice no matter you want. Doffy is giving you a baby whatever you want one or not. Crocodile it's hard to say. Buggy maybe. Rob Lucci would probably do that to control you. Paulie wouldn't. Kaku? Yes he wants kids. Ace and Yamato (they're a package deal): would want kids but if you're scared then Yamato could be the surrogate.

I agree with Katakuri doing IVF or artificial insemination for his darling because that's literally the only way to do that without killing them if they're a normal size. Katakuri would be extremely doting throughout the pregnancy and is openly excited about the baby.

Corazon wouldn't force you, but he gets this longing look in his eyes whenever he sees someone with a baby in public and looks like a kicked puppy.

I have touched on Doflamingo as a dad here. In a scenario where he chooses to have a kid with his darling, it is not optional or up for debate. You should just be grateful that he's "blessing" you with the opportunity to help continue his bloodline.

Crocodile is very on the fence about it. On one hand, the idea of raising a child has basically no appeal to him, but at the same time it feels like a shame to not have an heir to pass down his life's work and achievements to.

Buggy staunchly says that he doesn't want or even like kids, but then he has a whoopsie-baby and now being a dad is his entire personality.

I firmly believe that Lucci is the most child free looking man I've ever seen. He has zero interest in having children of his own, and he's strong enough to not need a baby to control his darling.

Paulie is another fence sitter. He wouldn't mind having kids, but he's hesitant to bring it up. He gives me girl dad vibes and would be a complete push over for them.

Kaku is dying to have a family of his own, but he's at least flexible with how he acquires it. He would be just as happy to adopt children as he would be to have biological ones.

Ace is terrified of reproducing. If he has a biological child, it was a genuine accident and he feels like he's going to have a heart attack when he gets the news. Yamato is very neutral on children. He likes them, but he was fine with not having any after seeing how stressed out Ace got when the subject was broached.

Now the farmers are looking for any way to help him with his hearing long term, but he seems to have adjusted to looking for any vibrations on the ground. There's nothing much different between the quintuplets except their different patterns. Just that tancho is the leader and more mature, Kiko is more curious and childish, Hime is sweet and reserved, tsu is a chatterbox and humble, koromo is loud and nosy

note: I had this thought about Robin meeting Crocodile's well-kept basement wife for the first time ages ago but wanted to expand on it a little, mainly because I love the melancholic and stuffy feel being his basement wife has to me. This is mainly vibes and exploration, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it! If you want to know more about 'your' scar, I talked about it here and here.

For the first time since she’s met Crocodile, Nico Robin is actually surprised. 

She hadn’t been when she had first seen his lavish base at Rain Dinners in all its opulent glory, hadn’t flinched when she noticed the gigantic species of gators swimming through an even more gigantic, underground tank, hadn’t raised a brow at his penchant for expensive clothes and jewelry and countless cigars, something so decadent compared to the starving land around him.  No, instead it fit him like a glove; that elegant, suave style of evil that had crawled into the very foundations of his lair to fester and rot and ooze wickedness whenever she returned. A marvel to witness, truly, such commitment to the bit. Predictable. Placeable.

What doesn’t fit, however, is a dependent. 

A man like Crocodile - with all his peacockery, arrogance, scorn and grandeur, isn’t someone she can see oh-so-graciously letting someone partake in the riches he has carefully hoarded just because of the goodness of his heart. It’s laughable, the thought. She could have seen him with a child, maybe, a little brat from some old flame many moons past, a little snot-nosed kid who is the epitome of spoiled, who gets too little attention and too much money from daddy.  That, she could have seen sitting on that old, luxurious chaise after getting called back to the base. 

But not you. Not fully-grown, very much not snot-nosed, you.

You’re so small, she thinks, or at least you seem to be. Compared to the grand interior surrounding you, the expensive leather settee you’ve been put on, the dark fur that nearly swallows you as you sit, nothing but your hands and round face peeking out from underneath, you are, in fact, quite small. Small and scared, the coat that’s been draped over you making you look like you’re all fat, bug-eyed rabbit and no part lithe and feisty wolf. If she wasn’t trying to grasp this situation she’d suppress a laugh at the clear intention behind your gaudy little outfit: like a purse, you’ve been dressed to compliment his outfit of the day, undoubtedly just as ornamented with pelt as you. You’re an unusual sight for the wife (and wife you are, she notes with a glance at a gold band wrapped around your pudgy finger) of someone as high-ranking as a warlord - if she had to imagine anyone befitting of that title it would have been someone more sleek; tall, classy, with observant eyes and painted lips that give way to pearly and sharp teeth. Someone whose mere presence whispers power, someone who is at least half as capable as Mister 0 himself.

What’s sitting right in front of her is a liability, a living, breathing shackle. And those are dangerous in the world the two of them operate.

And it begs a simple question: why? Why show her this, make her aware of your presence? Everything he does has a reason, but what purpose does this encounter serve? Robin’s life has been nothing but running, running and then some more running - and so does her mind, ever on edge, ever hunted. She needs to put this into a category, to discern good from bad from somewhere in between, especially when it comes to the inherent danger that is Crocodile. But it makes no sense to her, no matter how hard she tries to find any in the short second she has seen you. Is this a lesson? A show? A reward? A sign of trust? 

Nothing quite fits. She tilts her head as your eyes flutter over her form; taking in the seemingly relaxed elegance, her effortlessly chic outfit. You don’t seem to know either, fear and confusion etched into your soft features. Too easy to read, she thinks. He has clearly never told you about her. Not involved in this business. Hm.

Before she can take another step towards you - to glean another detail, to lure a word out of you that might solve this little mystery - the heavy thud of opening doors startles you. You sit ramrod straight in a millisecond, face instinctively pulled towards the source of the noise. Although she stays right where she is, it gives her another piece in the puzzle to work with: with the motion, a gnarly scar bulges underneath fake light, spanning from the edge of your mouth almost to your ear, gifting you an unnatural, lopsided smile. Ah. She knows Crocodile’s handwriting when she sees it, knows how heavy it can be with his left hand especially. 

You aren’t here out of your own free will.

How fitting, after all.

Not a dependent, but a captive. A cherished one, at that. A little pet, his favorite, tucked away and kept in safety.

She almost wants to scoff at the revelation. Evil, through and through. But this isn’t yet another display of just how cartoonishly bad he is, she thinks, until-

Until you part your lips to reveal a horribly tainted smile as you spot him, hurrying to sit up from the stiff leather and scuttling over. He doesn’t even look at her as you greet him quietly, awkward and uneasy, his face so utterly pleased with whatever this display is supposed to show him. You fold one hand over his right wrist and pull close as he laughs at your antics - you don’t act like this normally, do you? 

Finally, as he excuses you to disappear behind him, whispering something to you that she’d consider intimate if she hadn’t seen the raw, unembellished fear in your eyes, if she hadn’t known that the scar that adorns your face is years-old, it clicks.

This isn’t for her. It’s for you.

Imagine...

Yandere!Buggy kidnapping you when he was in your village raiding it. He decided from the moment he saw you he wanted you so he took you. He has then kept you as his darling and you have never left his side. Of course when he does dangerous stuff your left back with one of his most trusted crew member.

He loves you so much, your his favorite treasure. You eventually fall into Stockholm syndrome and start loving him back after resisting him for months. He's giddy and excited he has you. But when Crocodile and Mihawk come along things get bumpy.

They all form an alliance but Buggy's crew keeps getting him into trouble with Crocodile and Mihawk. Buggy comes crying and bruised to you everyday. You hold him while your heart is crushed seeing the man you love so broken.

But Buggy always bounces back even after he's been cut in pieces or beat to a pulp. His dream and you is keeping him going. But one day Buggy never returned to you. Then the next he was gone as well and you grew worried. You felt nauseous and weak with worry. Something wasn't right.

So you went to the only men who you knew would know where Buggy is. You opened the door and you let out a gasp. Sitting on a big expensive leather couch was Mihawk and Crocodile. Next to them hanging on a hook by his hair all bloody and bruised was Buggy. You started shaking in fear and rage.

Tears formed in the corner of your eyes as Buggy cried for you. He yelled at them and then at you to leave. Crocodile looked at Mihawk and he looked back at him. Crocodile grinned and Mihawk gave a small smirk.

They both stood up and you let out a shriek and tried to run. Mihawk was on you before you could even get out the door. He locked the door and pinned your arms behind your back. Buggy cried and pleaded for you to be let go. His cries were ignored and your tears fell freely down your face.

Crocodile tore off your clothes and Buggy started yelling louder. You called out Buggy's name and started pleading with the two men. Their chest swelled in pride as they finally got Buggy begging. Crocodile whistles as he admires your body.

Crocodile and Mihawk the use your body in front of Buggy. They cherish both of your cries. Crocodile is grinning while he thrusts into your mouth. While Mihawk looks unbothered but his eyes tell a different story; they're full of lust. Mihawk whisper's dirty disgusting things in your ear. Crocodile just groans and laughs. Buggy is broken and crying at how his darling is being abused. You just stop struggling and give in.

I imagine this rivalry is relatively quiet.

You don't know much about it as Robin and Sir Crocodile are subtle.

Those two already have their own goals.

Crocodile only wants Robin for her ability to read Poneglyphs.

Robin, however, is simply there because it's the only place she can be right now.

Crocodile provides protection for her services.

Neither of them like or trust one another though.

The only person the two would "trust" is you.

Even then, for Crocodile it isn't really trust.

It's hard to trust anyone in Baroque Works.

Even you struggle at times with other agents.

For the sake of this rivalry, I'm going to say you're an assistant of Crocodile.

You're like a personal servant that Robin often speaks with... yet you're mostly around the Warlord.

If I read your request right... The two may work together for minor things when it comes to you.

For example, Robin will help Crocodile with keeping you under Baroque Works control.

For now, Crocodile will allow Robin to speak to his prized pet since she helps keep you under control.

Although even this deal is fragile.

Crocodile only allows Robin access to you because she helps with his own goals and your discipline.

While she may seem like an enforcer or oppressive force to you.

When Crocodile isn't looking... Robin may tell you she's on your side.

She may work for Crocodile, but she never dehumanizes you.

Even as Miss All Sunday, Robin treats you more like a friend than Crocodile.

While calm, mature, and mysterious... You may trust her as a friend compared to everyone else.

Robin feels you are one of the only people she can trust.

It's even better when Robin enters and visibly tenses at Crocodile staking claim over you.

It makes her upset as she doesn't like the idea of you being owned or used.

Not only that, but she feels her affection would be so much nicer than his.

You no doubt sense the tension between the two as you interact with them.

Crocodile's grip is tight when Robin is around, he often orders you to stay in his office while he discusses things with Robin.

Meanwhile when Robin gets you alone, usually during escape attempts, she expresses distaste for how Crocodile treats you.

Who knows, maybe when you and Robin are alone, she offers to comfort you.

She wants to show you love isn't what Crocodile gives you... and she wants to experience it with you.

I imagine the rivalry would come to a peak when Luffy starts getting involved.

It's around this time Crocodile is getting impatient and suspicious of Robin's actions.

He suddenly isolates you from Robin, keeping you in his base of operations and having other agents keep an eye on you.

Crocodile has a feeling he knows what Robin's doing.

She's trying to seduce your loyalty, trying to make it so you love her more, so you help her against him.

He won't let that happen.

Crocodile is always sure to mark you, to show everyone he's claimed you.

He's more aggressive now.

He often snaps at others and isolates you more and more.

Robin rarely gets to see you unless Crocodile needs you to follow him somewhere.

Around the end of this arc, Crocodile actually makes an attempt on Robin's life.

Until Luffy steps in.

So the rivalry dynamic becomes Crocodile trying to keep you as his pet in Alabasta... while Robin insists on taking you from Crocodile and later joining the Straw Hats with you.

Robin acts like she wants a better life for the both of you.

Yet even if she does get you from Crocodile... She may just be bad for you in an entirely different way.

Honestly, I can see Crocodile threatening your life if Robin doesn't forget about you.

He has poison in his hook... If he really wanted, he could prevent Robin from having you by poisoning you.

Especially if she plans to make you a Straw Hat.

He doesn't mind killing you if it means Robin doesn't have you.

You belong to him, after all, so better hope someone has an antidote.

Although, this rivalry may end with Robin having you in the end with help from Luffy.

You may not be much of a fighter... yet Robin seems hesitant to leave you alone.

Even in Water 7, she feels you'll be happiest with the Straw Hats as they're a capable crew.

Overall, their rivalry is mostly just tension since they both need each other.

But you are right that they'd kill one another...

Robin would only win with Luffy's help.

Yet if Luffy wasn't there, Crocodile would have her killed for daring to steal what's his.

If we're going with the ending closer to canon... Robin promises to take good care of you.

She'll show you her love is much better than Crocodile...

Even if she's isolating you in another way.

Let's just hope you aren't at Marineford later on...

Reuniting with them both would only bring more tension.

I have a little bit of an interesting question! I know you stated you like writing horror and NSFW, or at least you do not mind dabbling in them, so I'm curious to your opinion:

(Please, very important onto this, keep in mind that, when I ask about 'Yandere', while yes, I mean this lovesick, obsessed character who goes to kidnapping/harming others/threatening/killing etc extremes to get the object of their affection/obsession, there's many yandere types. I PERSONALLY like only a handful of them because I am very careful with TW (I do not like toxic relationships where the 'darling' is deprived of privacy, is mistreated, forced to do things, has hands laid on them, has their emotional well being messed up by demeaning words, etc, and I do not enjoy abuse depictions of the trope either, so I cherry-pick a lot (due to personal trauma). Yanderes are often portrayed as straight up abusive when they needn't be, there's delusional ones, lucid ones who do not want to feel the way they do, others who rather give themselves to the object of obsession/affection and would rather hurt themselves than ever upset them, others who lean more towards manipulation, etc.). I say this because TW are important and while this is 'just a question in a blog' I want to inform you that there is NO EXPECTATION for you to write abuse, toxicity or anything of the sort. While being WELL AWARE that yandere relationships WILL be unhealthy in nature, it is that kind of 'unhealthy possessive' vibe you can enjoy IN FICTION, and should NEVER allow in real life. Take care of yourselves ❤️)

I haven't done a whole lot with the Yandere trope. I have one unpublished fan fiction for another fandom entirely that involves a yandere character in an antagonistic role. I don't tend to romanticize it because of how problematic it can be.

So needless to say, ⚠️ trigger warnings ⚠️ ahead for this topic, some more than others (lookin' at you, Doffy).

I feel like Sanji could fit the bill of being the lucid, regretful yandere. He knows that his obsession with you could be problematic, but he just can't help it. He gets insecure and jealous easily, and may be inclined to threaten any other men that happen to get to close to his beloved, platonically or romantically. He wants you completely to himself. Would be apologetic about his behavior and feel sincerely guilty for it, but just unable to keep himself from doing so. He also feels his behavior is protecting you in a way from being taken advantage of, and that's the only justification he can make for it—even to himself.

Mihawk, while his confidence and ego mean he's not really the jealous type, would still be a worthy candidate. He wants you aware that you are his in every sense of the word. You, your love, your mind, your body, all belong to him. No one else. He may very well be violent about it, though not toward you—just toward anyone who dares challenge his ownership over you. Toward his lover, he would be particularly doting and gentle, treating you like a fragile and priceless work of art. He would be incredibly disinclined to allow you to go anywhere without him; and if he finds out anyone else is attempting to court your affections or, heaven forbid, hurt you, then their days are going to be numbered.

Next would be Crocodile. Getting more ⚠️triggery⚠️ here. Prime candidate for a possessive yandere. Even if he doesn't have much time for you, you're still his property. He'll expect you to have time for him, to adhere to his schedule and his whims. He'll have a list of rules that you have to follow—no speaking with other men without him present, no going out in public without him or a guard that he has personally assigned to you; this is as much for the sake of keeping you safe as it is to ensure that you don't do anything he would disapprove of. In exchange, he'll shower you with lavish gifts, and treat you like a princess when he is with you...but if you break the rules, there will be consequences.

And lastly, and by far the most triggery, Doflamingo. Congratulations, you've caught the attention of an absolutely sadistic and manipulative yandere! He values total control over all aspects of your life. But he's going to make you think you have some freedom at first. He'll pout a little if you want to go somewhere without him, but he'll allow it...on the surface, at least. Then he'll hire some thug or other criminal deviant to scare you right back into his arms, whether with idle threats or physical force. He'll make you feel like he's your only source of safety and comfort. Make you defend him to your concerned friends and family of your own volition, until you have absolutely no one left but him to turn to. He'll justify it by saying it absolutely is for your own safety, and he sincerely believes that to be true; even if he wasn't hiring people to frighten you, there's still every chance that you could be hurt or enticed to leave if you stray too far from his side, and he can't allow that. Whether he views you as a lover or just a plaything, no one else is allowed to touch you but him.

I feel like there would be a lot of depravation - and Thatch would definitely be the one who would decide when it was over, considering his near death experience.

I feel like you’d be isolated, some small interior room with no windows, no clothes. You get food when they give it to you, and maybe a bucket.

The irony being it wouldn’t be all that different from being consumed by Teach’s Devil fruit power.

If they do let you out of the room, your senses are still bound - blind folds, ear plugs, hands and feet bound, etc. you still need sun and exercise and such, it’s a punishment not an execution.

But you lose all rights for a while. No one will speak to you. No matter what you say or how you beg or apologize it won’t matter. There’s no safe word to spare you, no apology you can offer.

Once you’re near to breaking from it all, the binds will come off. They’ll have a conversation with you, tell you how they forgive you, how good you did enduring your punishment, how they know you’ll never abandoned them like that again.

And you agree.

The next few days you’re tangled up in all of them until you pass out. You’re sure things don’t end at that point, you’re always clean and bandaged the next day, if not sore to your bones. It’s only when Marco’s powers can’t quite heal you that they start to let you truly rest.

Now, admittedly, I can see punishments being far worse - actual torture, possible mutilation, branding, even amputation (not gonna run away without legs, no matter what you promise, etc.) but I personally don’t see any of them being *that* kind of yandere or dark.

Honestly, they’re just too powerful to feel a need to go to such an extreme. Izou and Marco are too strategic to let someone push them to that point. Thatch probably wants his sweet little doll completely unmarred as well. They wouldn’t risk anything Marco couldn’t heal, and gratefully his healing for others is limited.

Yandere Doffy, or Teach too. Buggy even. I can see them being that kind of twisted. (Doffy promises you won’t miss your legs, he can string you along so easily.)

Crocodile… nah, he’s too much of a planner and a controller. He doesn’t like breaking his things either.

Yandere Akainu would be terrifying. That’s a real body horror story if ever there was one. Yandere Shanks would only be less extreme cause that observation haki of his gives him so much control.

Yandere Kid could get ugly - he doesn’t mind breaking his things. I just think he puts effort into avoiding it because it feels like he did something wrong if he’s forced to break a toy.

Platonic Yandere Crocodile and toddler reader

You know those pictures of babies with like, comically large sunglasses and a fancy hat?

That's Crocodile with his baby. Always matching with their own gold colored bottle. You know. To match his hook.

He's actually really careful with his hook around his baby, always teaching safety around sharp object since he's not likely to baby proof it unless absolutely necessary and that usually involves dissolving it into sand. He's got a personal 'beach' area in his private bath house so he can relax in the water while his baby plays with sand. Sand he's always at least passingly aware of.

His baby is clean but strangely dirty. At least a little sand in their little baby pockets at all times.

If you think they're alone, they're not. They're never really left alone.

Crocodile made sure of that.

They're actually fairly well behaved but only for Crocodile. They enjoy being a bit of a menace otherwise in sort of a playful way, dragging people into tea parties. Where they will sometimes find Crocodile sipping tea and eating treats with a sort of dry, threatening look.
