“We have an infinite God who goes by many names. And these names, scattered throughout Scripture, often have a different meaning, showing us another facet of this wonderful creator, healer, and provider.

During times of sickness, we may call upon God using his name that is tied to healing, “Jehovah Rapha.”

The Name: The Hebrew word rophe or rapha means "heal, "cure," "restore," or "make whole." Shortly after his people left Egypt for the Promised Land, God revealed himself as Yahweh Rophe, "the LORD who heals." The Hebrew Scriptures indicate that God is the source of all healing. As you pray to Yahweh Rophe, ask him to search your heart. Take time to let him show you what it contains. If he uncovers any sin, ask for his forgiveness and then pray for healing. The New Testament reveals Jesus as the Great Physician, the healer of body and soul, whose miracles point to the kingdom of God.*

Key Scripture: If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statues, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you. (Exodus 15:26 NKJV)

Although God is attentive to our prayers, we may pray using different names as a reminder to ourselves about God’s power, his wonder, his strength, his provisions, and many other divine quantities.

God also reveals a part of himself via a name. We can learn something new about him every time we discover a new name in the Bible. Names had a whole other type of weight in the Old and New Testament. It wasn’t just something one slapped on a birth certificate. Names could determine one’s telos (purpose), life trajectory, or one’s family lineage. We’ll dive into the meaning of the words Jehovah Rapha and what they mean for us today.”

PRAYER AND CONFESSIONS THAT BREAK THROUGH SICKNESSES DISEASES AND INFIRMITIES

I boldly declare that my body is the temple of Yahweh the Living God. Therefore I shall live and not die. I shall declare his works. For He has sent His Word and healed me and delivered me from all the failures and destruction any evil altar was designated to bring to my life.

I declare I am in a covenantal relationship with Yahweh through the redeeming blood of Yahushua. I am covered with the blood of Yahushua and by faith I believe in his promise that he will never leave me nor forsake me. I now declare to the enemy that in the name of Yahushua I am not forsaken.

I sincerely repent of every sin I have committed. Yahushua, I know you are faithful and just to forgive me of all my sins and cleanse me from all iniquities. Yahweh Rophe, heal me and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved, for You are my praise. Not only forgive me of my sins but heal me of all diseases sicknesses and infirmities. Redeem my soul from destruction and crown me with your loving kindness and tender mercies. Satisfy my mouth with good things so that my youth is renewed like the eagle`s.

I now walk by faith, therefore every evil intent the enemy has initiated against my life is renounced and annihilated in the name of Yahushua. Satan, your demonic plots and plans for my life are now stopped and pulverized through the blood of Yahushua.

I am not your property. You and all you have authored, get out of my life, my body and my surroundings.

I and all I possess belong to Yahushua. He bought me with his blood. I am sealed and stained with his cleansing blood. I am under his protection and not your domain.

Sin shall not control my life. I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. All things have become new. All self-defeating and negative thought patterns and actions are destroyed. My thought patterns are now positively processed and my actions are in alignment with the will of Yahweh.

Satan, I am not in collaboration with your destructive plans. I resist you and your cohorts, therefore, in the name of Yahushua flee from me.

Yahweh, thunder upon the enemy; release Your voice, hail stones and coals of fire upon the wicked Send out Your arrows and scatter them. Shoot out Your light, discomfit them and destroy their evil altars.

Deliver me, from my strong enemy and them that are too strong for me. Scatter them in the imagination of their hearts and set a fiery edge of protection around me always.

Surely Yahushua , you were wounded for my transgressions and you were bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace fell upon you and by your stripes I am healed.

You are the God of all flesh and nothing is impossible with you. Therefore, in your mighty name O Yahushua, all sicknesses, diseases, infirmities iniquities and pain must flee from my body. I now claim full restoration and perfect health in my body as I receive the benefits of your finished work on the cross .

You say in your word that whatever we pray for, we must believe to receive and it shall be ours. And none shall take it away from us, for it is forever ours. Therefore, by faith I am confident of my healing as I receive it in Yahushua`s Name.

Yahweh, your word says, whatever I bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatever I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. In the name of Yahushua I now bind up the root of all sicknesses , diseases , infirmities, iniquities, pain and all demonic activities, influences and association in my body, my life, my mind my soul and my spirit. And I now declare that healing and freedom in Yahushua, is loosed in all areas of my life according to your divine will O Yahweh. I claim the blood of Yahushua upon my entire being, possessions and domain.

Father, pull down every altar of unrighteousness that was set up against my destiny. I now cast down every vain imagination and everything that exalt itself against the knowledge of you O Yahweh, as I renew my mind and bring every thought to the obedience of the Messiah. I declare Yahushua as my Messiah and by faith I trust in his redeeming blood. I declare victory over the assailments of the enemy as I come under Yahushua blood for protection.

Father, generously endow me with your Holy Spirit. Let him flood my entire being with his fire. Holy Spirit burn out all unrighteousness and ungodliness that is in and around me. Father, let him be a wall of protection around me always bringing about healing and restoration to my life.

Spirit of the Living God burn within me, come and consume me with your fire of holiness and deposit within me all your fruits of righteousness. I long for your guiding presence. Teach me to walk uprightly. Lead me in the path of the destiny only Yahweh has designed for me. Let me be synchronize with you always so I can forever walk in Yahweh`s will.

My faith is activated within me and I believe the written word of Yahweh is quick powerful and sharper than any two edged sword. I will keep it in the midst of my heart and do as it says so it will cut asunder and destroy the enemy’s network, work force, his camp and his strongholds.

I now walk in the authority Yahushua has given me as a member of the household of Yahweh. Wholeness is mine. Restoration is mine. Victory is mine. Prosperity is mine. And the Word of Yahweh is medicine for my body, nourishment for my soul and strength to my spirit. As I meditate on it day and night, it gives me grace to serve him acceptably, with fear and trembling.

11 Names of 1 God in 1 Psalm

 We all know and love Psalm 23, but did you know that the psalm reveals 11 names of God?  This is likely something you have not seen or realized before.  I’ll identify the names in Psalm 23, but first let’s understand the many compound names of God found in the Old Testament.

 The compound names begin with the name Jehovah or El. Jehovah is the Anglicized form of Jehovah.  It is a pronunciation of the covenant name of God YHVH, which is also pronounced Yahweh. This name is translated as LORD in our Bibles.  The name El is translated as God.  In addition to Yahweh (YHVH), Yeshua and Jesus, what other names for God are in the Bible? Descriptive Hebrew words are added to Jehovah or El to create a compound name that reveal God’s work in our lives or gives insight to His nature and character.  The compound names of God are very helpful in understanding many of God’s attributes.

 A Remez in Psalm 23

 What’s a remez?  In Jewish hermeneutics (interpretation of Scripture), a remez is a hidden message, or a deeper meaning found below the surface or behind the words. You can read about a remez in Revelation 7 and one in Genesis 5.

 Now let’s read Psalm 23 and find the 11 names of our great God hidden in this psalm.  The names are revealed by His promises and His works and they remind us of our God’s ever present love, peace, comfort, help, and more! Hallelujah!!! :) #REBTD

Every time you call the name of Jesus, the name that is above every other name, you are calling God Himself to save you. Saving you is Jesus’ job description! Whatever the challenge or circumstance, whatever crisis you are in physically, financially or emotionally—you can call on the name of Jesus and Almighty God Himself will save you! My friend, you can take time to know the names of God, which He revealed under the old covenant, such as Elohim, El Shaddai, El Elyon, Jehovah-Jireh, Jehovah-Rophe and Jehovah-Nissi. You can do a complete study on the names of God. I am not against that at all. I teach on the names of God in my church as well, but all these names will mean nothing to you if you don’t know that God Almighty Himself, Jesus, wants to save you first from all your sins, then from all your challenges. God can be all powerful, but if you are not confident that He is interested in your success, His power would mean nothing to you. So, you don’t have to memorize all the names of God from the old covenant. What you need is a full revelation that Jesus, in the new covenant, is your Savior! What is Tiger Woods famous for? Golf! What is David Beckham famous for? Soccer! (He’s also famous for product endorsements!) What is Jesus famous for? Saving you! What do you need saving from today? See Him in your situation, rescuing, protecting and providing for you! Today’s Prayer Lord Jesus, because You are my mighty Savior, there is no challenge or circumstance that can successfully defeat me. ThankYou for saving

Knowing God

In our Sunday morning Bible study group, we’ve been studying Exodus.  In Exodus, we see a story of God forming a holy nation for Himself.  We see Him revealing who He is to the Israelites and teaching them just like a loving father does with his kids. 

As the plagues in Egypt begin, God reveals that He is El Shaddai, Almighty God.  This was significant because the world was full of little gods that were all vying for power but Yahweh reveals His power over all authorities, nature and circumstances.  In dramatic fashion, God showed all of Egypt that there was only one true God of heaven and earth. 

As they began their journey through the desert, God reveals to Israel that He is Jehovah Rophe, the God who heals.  The Israelites, who are parched from three days without water, come to a spring of bitter water that God makes drinkable.  God was showing the Israelites that a life lived independent of God was bitter and a life lived in dependence upon God was better.   

May we be comforted that El Shaddai is with us today, the One who is all powerful and has all authority.  May we remember that life is truly better when lived in child-like trust in our heavenly father who is aware of our needs and desires. 

The Lord is my strength and my song;    he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him—    my father’s God, and I will exalt him!  The Lord is a warrior;    Yahweh[a] is his name! - Exodus 15:2-3
