I 100% agree with your take about problematic women being ok. But on reflection it could possibly be not inherently their fault at first glance for having that bad take. The media we consume plays a big role in what we see every day. Almost every media website has algorithms of some kind to push content on people. Their is plenty of wholesome good lesbian content, there's so much in the media about it because as you said its catered to be more palatable. My working theory is that perhaps they were shown something akin to " toxic Yuri " and then fell down the media rabbit hole of consuming and looking at content for it. Which the algorithms picked up and went " let's shovel more of this content onto them " which resulted in most of their feeds reflecting that. Similar to doom scrolling. I am in no way defending their take btw because it is trash in my opinion. But people really need to learn to just block content they don't like and move on with their lives instead of shouting online. Go outside, touch some grass, look up wholesome content if thats what your into lol.

I MEAN YEAH this can happen but yeah like. at the end of the day you really do need to log off and reflect on the opinions you hold and the background behind certain social 'movements' or whatever. i wouldnt like jump this person or anything i just think they are coming at the topic without any nuance of the history of why we are where we are and how tolerating and even celebrating morally complex female relationships/characters is actually a step in the right direction
