They head up to the dancefloor. “Hey there, I’m Audrey” Audrey introduces herself “Yoo what’s up? I’m Morgan” The girl replies, her voice very relaxed “You seem so cool! I like your outfit!” Audrey compliments “Thanks! Yours is pretty rad too”

There’s this really cool Gujarati woman at my uni (she’s 20 so I’d feel weird calling her a ‘girl’) and she’s been introducing me to Mughal art these past few days which to those who don’t know is this type of art native to South Asia (created under the Mughal Empire) and can we just talk about how raaad it looks? How rad would any of these 4 designs look on a denim jacket? Honestly I love AOC (Art Of Colour) and if yall also do too you rly should look into Mughal art. I don’t claim to know a lot about it because I’ve only been relatively recently introduced to it but yoo it’s so beautiful.

good advice thanks,I've been with this guy, and he and this girl were friends long before i started dating him and i was always suspicious, but he would reassure me that they had nothing going on. anyways he broke up with me, and later on idk how long after, he started dating the girl he was friends with. it just feels like my heart has been ripped out, and idk how to move on cause shes so much prettier, smarter and better than me in every way. how do i not hate her? and im still hung up on him
DUUUUUDE ME TOO LIKE FUCK ME UPPPPP
Imma just tell the mother fucking story - also sorry in advance because i think he still follows me on tumblr
so we started dating in like may idk but he was friends with this very pretty lady. And idk they just had chemistry and i could see it but i was like shes been dating the same guy for 3 years so like imma think about it but nothing is going to happen so fuck it. They broke up a little while after and i was like o shit. and i was like yoo cant text bf because hes probably cheating on me and i dont want to ruin anything. thats kind of fucked up. i talked to him about it and he was like oh i dont have feelings for her and i just wont mention her and make you be around her. like rad fucking lit m8. but im also convinced that they held hands at prom right infront of me for a sec unless i was hallucinating - who fucking knows. and he also said that i should be more like her in the car because shes better at navigation or some shit idk. but it like ruined my night and i was anxious for the rest of the night. anyways we broke up maybe like 2 weeks after that. but like a month later or something idk they started dating. and like it hurt but after it hurt in a fucking weird im happy for you kind of way because i wasnt over it and shit. but shes prettier than me shes more talented than me and theyre more compatible than we are
i cannot give any advice on getting over people
some say dont talk and delete them from everything and just try not to think about it and some say let all your feelings out
but idk - if you love this ex maybe you can learn to be friends after you get over things and be happy for em bc i think thats cool

The 10 Best Bridal Salons In The Pacific Northwest
Since I’m a bridal stylist and real-life bride myself, I fully believe in all the magic that surrounds wedding dress shopping. Not only do I get to celebrate with all the brides I see in my shop, but I also get to celebrate with YOU! And specifically, I’m talking to you babes in the Pacific Northwest wonderland. I understand your need for a gown that’s cool, unique, and something that feels a little free-spirited.
a&bĂŠ stylebook photographed by Athena and Camron
Claire recently shared her top picks for the best salons in New York City & we both drooled over all the boho babes wedding dress shopping in LA. I figured I would follow suit and share the top bridal salons in my own Pacific Northwest home that are begging me to grab my next engaged bestie and visit. I’ll be sharing my own dress shopping in the weeks to come (stay tuned!) but for now, let’s relish in these beautifully curated and unique bridal gown shops.
Bridal Salons in Washington State

a&bé – Cool girl haven, a&bé are the advocates of a good time and a modern dress. With indie designers like Anais Annette and Rose + Williams, and even Pinterest sensation Made With Love, you are experiencing the best of the best. And speaking from personal experience – every stylist there will become your best friend! Located in the heart of the Ballard neighborhood in Seattle, it’s all about a rad experience and a fabulous brunch afterward to celebrate!

Pretty Parlor – Vintage Dreams can be found at this little Capitol Hill treasure in Seattle. For the true vintage vixen, Pretty Parlor has an entire bridal section filled with gowns dating back to the 1920’s. Complete with accessories like petticoats, capelets, parasols, and plenty of glitz, you’ll find an entirely unique and one-of-a-kind look.

The Dress Theory – Commanding and elevated, the Dress Theory is a modern and bold stop for the bride looking for something absolutely luxe. From Rime Arodaky, to our editor Claire’s beloved A La Robe, they carry some of the most exquisite and fashion-forward designs. This is our recommendation for the bride looking for that “wow” moment with zero fuss.

Honest in Ivory – New to the bridal world, Honest in Ivory opened last summer, and we’ve got hearts in our eyes! With brands like Blush from Hayley Paige, Theia, and our favorite Willowby collection, they are all about that modern whimsical romance – and truly bringing fresh styles to the eastern part of the state. They also offer an “after hours” package to rent out the entire salon for you and your closest pals to enjoy a no-rush champagne-filled shopping experience. Sign me up!

Best Bridal Salons in Oregon

The English Dept. – A bright and intimate shopping experience, the overall aesthetic of this beautifully curated shop is soft, romantic, and dreamy. You won’t find many ballgowns here, but instead, floaty silks, soft colors, and everything with a gentle vintage twist. Our beloved Jenny Yoo and Leanne Marshall are here, just to name a few. The English Dept. also features local Portland designer, Elizabeth Dye, and we recommend a quick stop to her showroom as well!
Portland, Oregon theenglishdept.com
a&bé – I’m spoiled to have found my own wedding gown here! I can’t express enough how fun the staff is, how intimate the experience was, and how everyone celebrated in my own happiness. If you love delicate styles like Alexandra Grecco, or something more bohemian like Israeli designer, Rish Bridal, then add them to your wedding dress destination. Not to mention they have the cutest neon wall installment for your instagram-worthy photo-op. I’ll gush even more in my dress shopping adventure to come.

Best Bridal Salons in Idaho

LaNeige – This shop located in downtown Boise offers a mix of contemporary and more traditional styles – but what truly sparked our interest were the one-of-a-kind Daci Gowns they carry by their own in-house designer. These styles are a mix of modern and boho, made and designed in Idaho. You bet we’re keeping our eyes on these designs, and they are totally worth the phone call to find out which they have available to try on.

The White Peony -Absolutely charming, this Victoria-based shop is a must for the romantic and timeless bride. Located in downtown Victoria, you’ll feel entranced the moment you step foot into this bright and airy space. The owner, Trish, opened in 2012, believing that dress shopping was just as important as the experience itself. We couldn’t agree more! Stop here for anything from Pronovias to Wtoo by Watters, as well as their exquisite selection of rotating trunk shows.
