I had a dream last night where there was a sequel to Ruin and I was watching a video of someone playing it (though most of the dream was in 1st-person perspective from the player character's POV).

The only part of the game I got to see was the daycare. It was still not fairing the best, but it was in better shape than in Ruin. Eclipse was there (they seemed to be in a similar state of disrepair, but were now average human height?) and lead the player around the daycare, like a tour. They didn't say anything, though. Also, at first the player just followed them, but later on held their hand.

After the "tour" Eclipse and the player headed for the exit doors. Eclipse finally did say something. I didn't catch it at first, so I rewound the video I was watching (which caused the dream to switch to a 3rd-person perspective). I didn't catch the very beginning of what they said, but I was able to make out, "It will be hard to do" or something along those lines.

After that, the doors opened and these two hands made of sewing needles (like in Coraline) gripped the doorframe from outside. Eclipse hid behind the player character and asked what they were before the player got yoinked away by the hands. Eclipse went after them.

Outside the daycare was a big hallway. The hands, which were now these metal praying mantis/spider-like bugs made of needles and knife blades, were pinning the player character to the ground by one of their arms. Eclipse went over and tried to carefully remove the bugs without cutting the player's arm/hand.

The dream suddenly shifted to me walking into a classroom after that. It wasn't a room I knew irl, but in the dream I could tell the desks had been rearranged. I didn't know where mine had gone, so I was just kind of looking around the room confused. I then woke up.

This one went from yippie DCA, to oh no, to OH SHIT, and finally back to school AU.

Also- I find it curious how your Eclipse + needle hand dream has coincided with the release of Poppy Playtime's 4th chapter and the final day of the DCA Zine campaign gssgzvgrkzvgux
