Yeah the live was on Robert Instagram
That settles it! Thank you!
Once again, I’m not sure how the situation has evolved since then. Someone also pointed out Robert’s new Instagram isn’t following StarKid (while still following individual members), so I don’t know what’s up with that.
If that is indeed an indication, Robert might not be returning to StarKid immediately. Or at all, forever. Once again, this is all speculation, going off of what we know and assume. Thing is, a lot can happen in a few months.
And again, Team StarKid’s plan was to release Nightmare Time 2, then Workin’ Boys, then Nerdy Prudes Must Die. I’ve seen a few comments from people who are convinced StarKid is doing Nerdy Prudes Must Die in summer. That might happen, it might also not be happening.
If they stick to the order they had in mind, they will need to have worked out a solution for Workin’ Boys before Nerdy Prudes. And whether that is Robert returning, Nick playing Hidgens or recasting the role (from within the company or a new face), we’ll hopefully find out in due course.
I also keep thinking: what if they don’t know? What if they have so much trouble deciding what to do, how to move forward, that they postpone all future yet-to-be-produced Hatchetfield stuff? It might be yet another explanation for the postponement of Nightmare Time Season 2: releasing it in Summer instead of Spring to still give the fans their quasi-traditional Summer StarKid release, while effectively buying themselves more time to figure out what project to tackle next.
Again: time will tell.
