1) thinking about bad timeline Wren getting stressed when zander smokes because that's too much for him.

2) absolutely always 100% of the time thinking about Andrew. Thinking about him snapping at cain for taking things too far with a younger zander thinking about Andrew being protective making zander cry more because he misses his dad very normal things going on in my brain rn

1. I love this cuz even regular timeline Wren struggles with this, that was the thing that took his eyesight away after all. Zander is not allowed to smoke when he’s with him, even if he goes outside, and he gets noticeably stressed out if Zander even smells of cigarette smoke too strongly. It would be way, way worse with bad timeline Wren because Nicholas smoked all the time, and he loved putting cigarettes out on Wren just for fun, having Zander smoke around him would send him into full blown panic attacks.

And 2. THIS ONE HURTS but in the best way,,,,,, Andrew DOES tend to get very protective of Zander, he’s more angry with Cain’s father for bringing Zander around in the first place but he also knows he has enough influence over Cain where. Snapping at him might make him ease up. Or at least make him be slightly nicer to Zander for a short period of time. Even as Zander grows up there he never really stops seeing him as that frail and injured 18 year old he first met, and he was ESPECIALLY protective of him when he was younger. And while Andrew isn’t old enough to have a child Zander’s age, he’s still a dad himself and I think. Younger Zander did kind of see him as a caring father figure, the closest he had to somebody who cared about him there, and seeing Andrew get angry and protective on his behalf would’ve reminded him of his own father and would’ve made him so fucking emotional,,,,,,
