🫡 I’m not a fan of AI to begin with. I only did AI about idk 3-4 images through Remini last year just for fun, and to see how realistic a pixel character would look like. That was before I fully got into HQ in-game photography. 🙂 There are different purposes ppl use AIs for I guess, and mostly for art now. I know it’s possible to render AI then paint over it, rather than use them for reference. AI is easy to do now and there are other artists I know out there that does everything from scratch, yet AI still getting the same engagements as pure artists, or even more. 🥹 But yeaa, I guess not a lot want to admit they use AI. Screenshots may be a bit different, but when I do one, I try not to use extra shit you use in game. Ever since I got into Lies of P, I wanted to just capture evrything the game offers and try to put my creativity in it. Not saying that they are bad, and ppl can’t have fun with them because they are fun xD. I prefer without AIs/mods and try not to use otherwise, it won’t be photography anymore (to me at least). I pretty much just spend lots of mins with color gradings, lightings, angles and other effects through reshades. Still practicing as always.

Natsuhi Entered Kinzo's study and he basically said she's an Ushiromya in her heart, and he's so right. She does everything for this damned family, while the siblings all try to tear it apart. You might be insane and probably evil Kinzo, but this one was right. Even a broken clock is right twice a day or something.

Transformers Prime: this was the first tf show i ever watched!! its a good intro in the franchise (lore n whatnot) n has a bunch of grim and dark epic moments!! :0 its the only one out of these is all 3d animation, ive linked the yt playlist where u can all the eps and the movie here! 

Transformers Cyberverse: a more light hearted and kind of ‘baby’ show, but it gets so so good in season three and the movies!! it is a little confusing at the for newer ppl who dont know what a transformer is or the basic lore but i think after a while its really fun to watch and the character dynamics r so good, obsessed w the m/f friendships!! all the episodes r available on yt in a playlist ill link here! 

Transformers Animated: this is also a good starting point!! it is 2d animated and rlly fun, action comedy vibes and very charming!! light hearted but also swaggy seasons r characters, this was the second show i watched it believe! u can watch it all on tubi tv dot com, the link is here! (does have video ads inbetween eps but its worth it and u can get rid of them if u have ad block i think)

Gem Steven's mind was blank on what else what topic he wanted to cover, the memory that had paused due to Winter's inattention started playing a little louder to grab their attentions.

Human Steven gave out a sigh, then a mocking tone to himself, "Oh, Steven, it's so dangerous for you, a light breeze might send you into next week." Gem Steven chuckled, "Bro, I know you're upset about being told that you can't go on missions... But it really is for the best that you stay home... they aren't really that fun to go on, it's serious business." He said, picking up his lone bowl and spoon to wash them, as he turned he had knocked one of the cans toward Human Steven. "That's easy for you to say, you get to actually go on missions. The gems don't have to worry about you as much as they worry about me." Human Steven replied, pausing to pick up the can of creamed corn of the floor reading the label. There was a slight pause as he did the math in the air with his finger as if he was righting down the numbers. Gem Steven put the now cleaned spoon and dish into the dish rack to dry, before looking over at his brother seeing his eyes practically bugging out of his head. "Dude... are you ok?" Human Steven looked up at him with the most serious face his cute chubby face could muster, "Steven, do you realize how much fiber is in a can of creamed corn?" "Yea, the label says 6 grams... that's not a big deal." "It is a big deal..." He held the bridge of his nose before looking back, "You ate 6 cans of creamed corn..." "Yea, to get the discounted price for mini golf... where are you going with it?" "Steven, you're my brother, and I love you, but I need you to be serious with me right now... Are you not aware of how much fiber you just consumed in one sitting?" "Yea, 6 grams... we went over that?" He looked confused. "Steven, it's per can." "Huh?" "It's 6 grams of fiber, per can... you ate 6 cans worth of Col. Kernel's Classic Canned Creamed Corn. Please tell me it's starting to click." Gem Steven was looking at him confused. Human Steven took a deep breath, looking solely at the ground before looking up at him, "Ok, so 6 grams of fiber is equal to 24% of your daily value of fiber right?" "Yea..." He replied looking at one of the cans on the table. "And you ate 6 whole cans of it right?" "Yeaa..." He paused, "And that's a problem because??" Human Steven taking a deep breath, "It's a problem because you didn't just have 24% of your daily value, you had 114% of your daily fiber intake... do you realize the problem now??" "Steven, fiber's healthy, isn't it?" Human Steven looking at him, rubbing his hand down his face, "Steven, do you even KNOW what fiber does?" "... no, not really." "Fiber helps you stay regular... and with the amount of fiber you just ate in this one sitting, you're going to be in the bathroom more often then you would be out of it..." "Well I'm a gem, I'm sure it's not gonna be that bad." "Steven, if Amethyst is able to get food poisoning from a tuna burrito supreme that was 10 years out of date that she found in her room, I have no doubt in my mind that you're going to be visiting the bathroom more than you visited me at the hospital." "I think you might be overreacting just a bit." Gem Steven replied, not wanting to think about if that was an accurate prediction. "Even if I am, and nothing goes wrong, I'm not going risk fusing with you. So as long as you're gonna be spending unknown amounts of time in the bathroom because of this abhorrent amount of fiber, Steven Squared is benched until further notice." Gem Steven sighed, "Alriiiight, but I still think you're blowing it just a bit out of proportion." He replied, just as his stomach started giving out an ominous, perfectly times groan of distress, and the confidence had dropped from his face.

Slow Down - Chapter 8

a/n: k i literally hate this but i hope you enjoy it a little lol. let me know what you think!

Summary: Daniel and Y/n are best friends, but like every clique love story lol, Daniel fell for Y/n, though he’s never admitted his feelings because Y/n has a boyfriend. After their exams, the group of friends decide to go on a “California-cation” (see what I did there haha) but Y/n’s boyfriend also tags along. It gets a little interesting and I guess you’ll just have to see how things go…

Daniel could barely sleep the night before. His feelings about Y/n only fuelled his anxiety, fogging his brain with a thick haze of memories and thoughts that he couldn’t shake. After hours of tossing and turning, he finally drifted into a faint slumber, rousing from his sleep - after what felt like mere seconds later - by a soft hand on his shoulder.

 “Daniel...” Y/n whispered, biting back a smile at his slight pout and steady breaths. She tried again, “Daniii, wake up.” 

 Daniel shifted in his sleeping bag, stretching his legs and arms out messily with a small groan. The sound of gentle birdsong and aroma of breakfast filtered through the small gaps of his tent had him lifting himself up sleepily. “Uhm...-” he cleared his throat. “Good morning,” he said in a quiet, raspy voice. 

 “Morning.” Y/n replied with a small smile. She got up onto her feet and out of the tent. Daniel followed quickly behind her. “What time is it?” He asked gently. 

 “About eleven thirty or so.” Y/n answered casually as she took a seat on the wooden bench beside Corbyn. She grabbed the box of cereal to pour into a plastic bowl. 

 Daniel’s gaze narrowed into a squint as he peered through the morning sunlight to the array of breakfasts displayed on the table, a blue chequered tablecloth underneath. “Did you guys wake up late too?” He asked, taking a seat next to Jonah. 

 Corbyn glanced at him with a small chuckle, “eleven o’clock is late?” 

 “Well yea, I really want to go on that trail.” He smiled shyly. “You know the one you talked about before?” He glanced at Y/n. 

 “Yeaa!” Her eyes lit up instantly at the vivid memory.  

 Her sudden excitement sent a wide grin to Daniel’s face. “Yeah, I-I planned it for you” he said bashfully, eyes flashing at Corbyn with a smirk. He received a teasing glare in return and Jonah hid his giggle behind a sip of his coffee. 

 “I’m sure we’ll have time. But I actually planned for us to go canoeing today...” Jonah revealed, offering a simple smile in response to his friends’ open mouthed, shocked stares. “I’ve decided to conquer my fear of the ocean...Well, we’re not going in the ocean. Just the river a little way away. But that’s still conquering my fear, right?” He looked to the others for reassurance. 

 “Right.” Corbyn said with a light chuckle. 

 “Whatever you say.” Daniel shrugged, a plate of pancakes and bacon in front of him. “Thanks for breakfast by the way” he said, shovelling a forkful of pancakes into his mouth. 

 “That’s okay, I figured I’d volunteer since I’m the mom of the group.” He said plainly, earning light chuckles from the others sitting around the table. 

 A calm aura swallowed the atmosphere as the group of friends ate their breakfast, lavishing upon fresh memories from the past few days. The two other bandmates woke up not long after. They dragged their feet through the squidgy grass tiredly. “Morning…” Jack breathed. The others simultaneously replied with gentle waves and ‘morning’s. Zach shuffled his feet over to the mini, portable coffee machine and poured himself a soothing cup of rich coffee before squishing right next to Corbyn on the picnic table. 

 “Where’s Grayson, he up yet?” Zach asked, peeking a brow as he filled his plate. 

“Nope.” Y/n sighed, dropping her gaze as she haphazardly stirred her bowl of cereal. “I don’t think he’d like canoeing anyway...” She said honestly. Daniel’s smile faltered as he listened to Y/n’s words, and he exchanged identical looks with the guys. 

 “Maybe I can convince him?” Corbyn volunteered, shooting a comforting look at Daniel. He received a grateful nod in return, and they shared tight smiles.

The gang were finally ready at around 2pm. They had played almost every board game they brought with them and had grown irritated by hearing the constant chirping of birds and rustling of trees around the campsite. 

 The fresh morning glow of the sky had subsided. The sun scorched down on the cluster of friends as they were ushered - by Jonah - to the sparkling river only a five-minute walk away. A rich tapestry of blue spread across the gentle velvet waters of the river. Jonah nearly sprinted to the wooden rack of canoes. To him, an inviting new adventure was just waiting to be experienced and he was oblivious to his friends’ teasing remarks. 

 “Ten bucks says he’ll absolutely hate it.” Daniel turned to Corbyn, a Nike swoosh of a smirk plastered on his face. 

 Corbyn chuckled, “I think he’ll tolerate it.” He replied truthfully. With a vigorous shake of hands, their bet was official. The guys lifted their canoes from the rack and placed them on the rocky shore. “Hey, Grayson? Can you help me with this?” Y/n asked tiredly as she tried to lift the canoe. She looked around for her boyfriend, but he was nowhere to be seen. “Grayson?”

 “Here.” Daniel giggled, a few paces away. “I can help.” An easy grin played on his face as he shifted the canoe from her arms to his. He passed her a life jacket and calmly watched her slip it on. 

 “Thanks” Y/n said, her cheeks a little more pink than usual. 

“s'ok” Daniel uttered lovingly. 

 Meanwhile, Jonah had been struggling with his own rickety canoe. It was so noisy that the wood creaked every time they moved. Jonah turned back to Daniel hesitantly, “Is this safe to use?” He asked, jerking down the brim of his lopsided baseball cap. Daniel looked up from his spot in the river. His knees were deep in the calm water and his forehead was already dampened with a layer of sweat from pushing the weighty canoe. 

 Daniel laughed lightly. “It'll be fine.” He reassured with a toothy smile. 

 Jonah tried his best to pull a grin in response and he turned back to the front, watching the water ripple and sparkle gracefully. A shaky deep breath left his lips as they finally plunged into the water past the shore. The three other bandmates drifted past, paddling recklessly through the water without a care in the world. “Oh my gosh” Daniel chuckled as he glanced at them. 

 “They're gonna fall in for sure.” Jonah said quietly.

 “I don’t think they’re gonna fall in...” Daniel joked. 

 He couldn’t help but steal a glance at Y/n and Grayson behind them. Y/n’s smile shone as bright as lighthouse beams and the corners of his mouth pulled upwards, spreading light to every inch of him as well. The natural dew on her skin fostered a gentle glow to her face. The serene reverie he slipped into was broken by the familiar voice of Y/n’s boyfriend. 

 “Can you help please?” Y/n asked after her laughter died down. She raised and lowered the oar steadily through the water, watching it glide graciously upon the surface. “You can’t possibly expect me to do this alone.” She chuckled lightly. 

 “Okay, Y/n.” Grayson picked up the single bladed oar beside him and began paddling. “I didn’t even want to do this anyway.” He murmured quietly to himself, but Y/n heard. 

 “Can you please just do it...for me?” Y/n said, “let’s just try and have fun, okay?” She spoke pleadingly with a tight smile.  

 Daniel sighed after hearing their small conversation but just went back to paddling with Jonah. 

The image of Y/n and Grayson on the canoe froze in his mind, kindling some kind of twisted jealousy or hurt in his gentle heart. The lingering goosebumps on his skin chilled his body to the bone. He let the serenity of silence calm him and the warmth of the sun’s rays heat up his cold body. 

 How are you holding up? You seem a little tense.” He asked Jonah although his eyes wandered elsewhere. Denying his shallow breaths and slightly quivering body, Jonah replied with a confident, “I’m doing great” as they travelled forwards quietly.

 “Oh my gosh. Not these stupid bugs again” Daniel complained, eyes bolting to all directions and arms swinging in weary irritation. “-hate that I didn’t bring bug spray,” he groaned. 

 “Daniel.” Jonah said gingerly. Daniel was so distracted by the hasty bugs that circled him, he didn’t notice the canoe’s persistent wobbling.

 “I swear I’m gonn-” His complaint was cut off by the crashing waves of the river washing over him as the boat completely toppled over. All the two boys could hear was the muffled laughter of their friends - perfectly dry and safe in their canoes. Jonah tried to shoot up to the surface of the river desperately, and with the help of Daniel beside him, he made it to the surface, to shore and then finally a decent length away from the river in good time. 

 “I’m never doing that again! I’m just gonna be scared of the ocean forever!” Jonah yelled breathily. 

 “Okay,” Daniel soothed gently, swallowing back his laughter as he walked past him. Jonah frowned at him before shifting his eyes back to the water. He watched peacefully as a soft breeze rippled the surface of the river. It danced along gracefully before hitting the rocks and pebbles on the shoreside. 

 Among the tall oak and pine trees, a pleasant shade had fallen where Jonah had been sitting, staring morosely at the water. Daniel padded across the grass and plunked himself beside Jonah, offering him a fresh, red towel. Jonah gratefully accepted and slung it over his shoulders, clutching it tightly around his body. “You, okay?” Daniel asked gently, biting back a chuckle. 

 Jonah turned to him, hiding his own laughter behind a supposably serious face. “Yeah.” He pushed his arm across his forehead tiredly. 

 “You’ll be alright.” Daniel assured. Just then, in perfect, comical timing, Corbyn emerged from the shore and tapped Daniel lightly on the shoulder. 

 “I guess I owe you ten bucks now.” He shrugged, unknowing of the conversation the two other boys just had.

“Okay, what’s next?” Y/n asked eagerly. 

 “The trail.” Daniel said simply. He looked behind his shoulder. “You can stay here if you’re not feeling up to it Jonah.” He assured lightly, a small smile playing on his lips. 

 “Uhh...no.” Jonah shut down quickly. “You just feel bad for earning ten bucks at my expense” He joked, glaring at Daniel teasingly. 

 “Okay then, if you’re all ready to go, let’s do it.” He suggested. 

The friend group were on their second adventure of the day and even though some of the boys were tired, they knew how much Daniel wanted to do this, especially for Y/n. They trekked through the summer heat in clusters as they conversed. Daniel draped his shirt over his shoulder and his hair sat all muddled on his head, flicking hard against his forehead as he walked. 

 Zach’s gaze caught something in the distance. In the dappled sunlight, amid the strong boughs, overgrown cabins scattered the dark areas of woods. The trees grew so tall, they veiled the sun’s light. He turned to Jack, tossing a sweaty arm around him. “You wanna mess with the guys?” He asked mischievously - not that he really needed to. 

 “Of course.” Jack responded with a chuckle. They were a few paces behind everyone else, so they quietly devised a plan. “K, i’ve got this” Jack said, clearing his throat and rolling up his sleeves. 

 “No, I've got this.” Zach corrected blankly. 

 “No. I’ve-” Jack started, before he was suddenly interrupted by Corbyn. 

 “You guys alright?” Corbyn asked gently with a light laugh. 

 Jack shuffled his feet closer to Corbyn a few paces ahead of him so he could hear better. He turned to Zach again. “Yeah, me and Zach were just talking about that cabin over there. Further in the distance” He asked, pointing to a random, bleak cabin. Zach merely sighed and nodded as he glanced at Corbyn. 

 Corbyn replied, “yeah? What about it?” He asked, slight hesitation laced in his voice. 

 “That’s my dad’s cabin. He bought it back in ‘97.” Jack said casually. 

 “Really?” Corbyn asked, matching Jack’s pace as he walked beside him. 

 “Yeah, he got it pretty cheap from the old owner.” 

 Corbyn peered into the distance, the archaic architecture and spoiled timber exterior didn’t go unnoticed, and he simply nodded. “Makes sense.” He chuckled. 

 “The guy caught his brother cheating with his wife…” He uttered eerily. Just then, Daniel and Y/n’s attention was caught by his fake story too. He continued, dropping his gaze to the brittle leaves that crunched beneath his feet. “He chased them out of the cabin and into the dark woods with a...” He paused for a second, searching for more ideas, “a machete and stabbed the dude three times. People say he’s still out there trying to find his wife, a sharp, bloody machete still in his hand.” He looked up to stunned faces looking back at him. “He could still be out here today.” Jack finished casually, continuing his onward stride through the trail. 

 Grayson scoffed, “Yeah right. You can’t tell me you guys really believe this.” He sneered. 

 “Y-yeah guys don’t be silly” Y/n said lightly, even though she was really shaken by it. She cleared her throat nervously before turning back to continue walking. 

 Grayson slowly approached Daniel from behind before uttering a gentle, “hey uhh, there’s not service here?” He questioned, holding up his phone to the sky with an outstretched arm. 

 “Oh yea. Sorry, I must’ve forgotten to mention it.” Daniel replied casually, turning back to the rocky path. 

 “Oh...okay” Grayson hid his slight uneasiness with a feigned grin that tugged at the corners of his lips. 

 The walk was peaceful for the most part, filled with organic, simple conversation. The brown and dry ground had little patches of green peeking through the roots of flowers and low-lying bushes. Y/n broke the momentary silence first with a question.

"Where's my necklace?"

'What?" Grayson asked. 

 “My necklace.” Y/n repeated. “You know the gold one, with the little crescent moon sorta thing?”

 Grayson paused for a moment before replying with a tired “yeah, okay well when was the last time you saw it?”

 “I’ve had it on for the whole trip, until now I guess.” Her face was etched in concern as she looked around. “I can’t lose that Gray, Dani gave it to me” She whimpered. 

 Daniel’s head turned at the familiar sound of his nickname. “What’s going on?”

 “She lost that gold necklace or something.” Grayson said plainly as he continued walking. 

 “Wait-” Daniel gazed at Y/n seriously, “the one I gave you?”

“Yeah.”

 “Okay, uhh. Okay. It’s okay. We’ll find it. Don’t panic.” Daniel reassured, more to himself than her. 

 “Don’t panic? You literally look like you’re panicking right now Daniel.” Y/n teased lightly with a faint giggle. 

 “Uhh, okay guys!” He turned back to his bandmates ahead. “Y/n lost her necklace. We need to go find it.” He announced gravely, resting his hands on his hips. He turned back to Y/n, noticing her panicked look. "Don't worry, we'll find it" Daniel assured her gently. 

 "I hope so" Y/n said, worry written all over her face. 

 Zach fluttered about trying to find the necklace in unusual places. First his eyes roamed the precariously balanced boulders, then Jack’s hoodie that was tied around his waist and finally Jonah’s hat. He grasped Jonah's baseball cap from his head, peering into it solemnly. 

 "It's not in there," Jonah countered, snatching the hat back defiantly. 

 "Great, thanks Jonah" Zach said sarcastically before focusing back on finding Y/n’s gold chain.

 The sun settled around them, gushing warm, dark golden streams through the columns of tall trees. It splashed warmly from their faces to their feet as they tread through the woods back and forth. Daniel weaved in and out through the trees and bushes as seamlessly as a shuffled deck of cards, concentration.

 “Okay, you guys look over there,” Jonah said, pointing into the distance. “And the rest of us will go back down this way.” He suggested, and everyone agreed. 

 “Have you got any idea where it might be?” Grayson asked, glancing at Y/n. 

 “No, not a clue.” Y/n sighed worriedly, “It was around my neck like a minute ago” She dragged a hand over her face in frustration. 

 “Well, it obviously wasn’t if we’re still looking for it.” He muttered quietly. 

 “What?” Y/n asked gently. 

 “Nevermind.” Grayson walked past Y/n in the opposite direction angrily, but Y/n didn’t notice. 

 Grayson's groan of annoyance had Daniel averting his gaze to the boy beside him. “What’s wrong, man?” Daniel tried gently, slowing down to match Grayson’s pace. 

 “I just wanna find this stupid necklace” He huffed irritiatedly.

 “It’s not stupid,” Daniel returned quietly, swallowing back his hurt. “I’m sure we’ll find it soon.” He assured calmly. 

 “We better.” Grayson warned. 

 “And we will...” 

 “Yeah, sure” Grayson returned, his voice dripping in sarcasm. “This forest is so big. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack”.

 “If we all just focus, we should find it pretty easily.” Jack said reassuringly with a grin. Daniel nodded lightly in agreement. 

 “We’re literally just wasting time right now. I’m not even the one who gave it to her so why should I care?” Grayson glared at Daniel out of the corner of his eye. 

 “Because it’s important to Y/n.” Daniel glared at Grayson with utmost distaste. 

 Grayson only scoffed loudly. 

 Daniel stopped his movement and stood up straight. “Look, Y/n really wants to find it. If you were a good boyfriend, you wouldn’t be complaining right now.” He said seriously, storming further into the ever-darkening woods. He didn’t even think about the necklace anymore. It’s not just about the necklace. He thought. 

 “I’ve got more important things to do.” Grayson grumbled. 

 “Really? Cos you’ve sure been spending a lot of time on your phone” Daniel replied shortly. Grayson squirmed under Daniel’s blank gaze. He dropped his head and shuffled his feet nervously to hide his flushed, pink cheeks. Daniel took a deep breath in an attempt to compose himself. Grayson's words stirred inside of him, and he felt his arms bend at the elbows and hands close into fists almost uncontrollably. He was so focused on maintaining his supposedly calm facade that he didn’t realise how far they were walking. 

 “Guys. Can we-” Jack huffed. He searched his mind wretchedly to try and stop their argument.

Grayson looked at Daniel, “It’s just work, my brother and I work together so it’s just a lot of back and forth you know,” He chuckled, a hint of a grin on his lips. 

“Like what? calls? Texts?” 

 “Guys.” Jack tried again gently. 

 Grayson paused for a moment before words stumbled out of his lips. “Y-yea. Calls and...stuff”

“I haven’t heard Ethan’s name come out of your mouth once this whole trip so far.”

 “What are you trying to say?” Grayson challenged. His tone was pugnacious, calculating at most. 

 “Guys!” Jack’s loud voice snapped the two other boys out of their argument, and they looked at him expectantly. “I think we’ve gone too far,” he said slowly. 

 “Great.” Grayson groaned. “This is all your fault.”

“My fault? Seriously, don’t start this” Daniel responded tiredly, 

 “If you had just minded your own business then we wouldn’t be lost or whatever.”

 “This is my business. She’s my best friend.” Daniel replied without hesitation. 

 “Wait guys, don’t you fear” Jack said positively, pulling out a crumpled map from his back pocket. “I have a map.” His eyes darted from side to side as he stared at it. 

“It’s upside down.” Grayson said tiredly. 

“Oh. I knew that.” Jack chuckled, turning the map over to the right side before continuing. “Okay…. umm does anyone actually know how to read this?” He asked shyly, a giggle escaping his lips. He glanced back at the two boys beside him. Their deadpan faces and silence had him dropping his gaze to the map again.

A night to (not) remember

When Kirishima opened his eyes that morning, he regretted it immediately.

The blinding light coming in through the window sent a jolt of pain directly to his brain. He thought his head was about to explode. He wanted to sob, but the sound that came out of his dry throat was sore and pained; he was so, so thirsty.

‘I’m never drinking with Mina again,’ he thought.

Little by little, memories of the previous night came to Kirishima’s throbbing head. It was a Saturday and everyone had decided to gather up for a fun, totally harmless movie night; he could barely remember what the film was about (it was Denki’s turn to choose so it probably wasn’t all that interesting) there were popcorn and waffles... but that had only lasted until about 10pm maybe, and then a bottle of vodka had appeared out of nowhere and, although Kirishima had never been a big fan of drinking, he was a social person, so when everyone, even Bakugou, had sat in a circle to play, he couldn’t say no.

After that, everything was blurry. He didn’t remember anything.

A loud beeping noise that felt like a drill to his temple brought him back to the present. Kirishima shut his eyes harder and extended one hand to where his phone should be on the bedside table.

hemming-whay: oh thank god, i was starting to feel sad for the loss of my good friend

hemming-whay: did u read the gc yet?

Kirishima tapped on the back-arrow to check his other chats; the blasty squad groupchat stood in first position with 234 unread messages. Kirishima groaned.

redriot: yeaa, not happening, 200 txts?

hemming-whay: well it was a pretty wild night

hemming-why: it’s good not being the main object of gossip for once ;)

Gossip? Kirishima felt a little more awake now.

redriot: really? spill the tea

hemming-whay: don’t feign ignorance now, my friend

redriot: i beg your pardon?

hemming-whay: are you srsly saying u were so drunk u don’t remember?

Kirishima’s brow furrowed in confusion; did this mean he was the object of gossip?

Nah, can’t be, this was probably Denki messing with him.

hemming-whay: idk, you’re saying you don’t remember sucking face with blasty the whole night, i think people usually call that *getting wasted*.

Well, Kirishima certainly didn’t remember that.

This couldn’t be happening. There was no way Kirishima Eijirou had kissed Bakugou Katsuki and not remember it. There was no way he had kissed Bakugou Katsuki – period.

For one, Bakugou didn’t do kissing; he had expressed out loud many times how he found no appeal whatsoever in any activity that would bring another person less than 1 meter away from his persona, except maybe fighting.

Secondly, Kirishima didn’t kiss people while drunk. That was rude and unmanly.

He would remember it for sure if it had happened. Kissing Bakugou was not something one would be able to forget just like that.

Kirishima was about to call Kaminari out for being a filthy liar, but the blond texted first.

pointless life updates #01 - far from home

hello.

welcome to the first episode of my pointless life updates.

I hope y'all doing okay just checking in on you... if you've been struggling this past few weeks, same with me bestie. me too. just hoping going to get better. it’s 11:39 am and I’ve spent most of today not really doing anything much so I decided to get my shit together and sit down to write an essay. I had my regular water ㅋㅋㅋ and also a home-made potato+소세지+sambel (just a random combination of things) for breakfast.

it’s been a month since I left my hometown, and started living in south sumatera. I remember for the past 2 years, I was sitting on a lot of “what will I do with my life once the pandemic is over?” thoughts. then early this year it comes the pandemic is almost over (hopefully) and the world is getting better. I was looking at the sky and thinking about I needed to be doing something. I can’t get stuck anymore. and trying to do something extremely new. everybody loves to tell me, that I was born an old soul... but there's so much that I don't know... better keep my eyes wide open. not every decision you make is going to put you over the top. and I think my decision to take this opportunity and come to palembang-indralaya, it’s going as great as it can be. there is still this feeling of being lost. I don’t know where I’m going to end up. I don't even know what's going on for dinner lmao. it does get lonely sometimes. but I got used to it. meeting new people and move on to different directions and then gotta meet people again. and then move on and gotta do it again. definitely, my introverted characteristic is feeling anger lol. I speak with my facial expressions more than I do with my words.

the past month has been rough. there was a bunch of stuff that I had to do but I couldn’t do it because I was sick. and there were people relying on me to get some stuff done that I couldn’t keep up with because I was feeling so overwhelmed. plus+ something bad happened in my home in my hometown. huh, I had a war, with my own self, my own mind. :(

BUT I had some memorable experiences...

aug 7, decided to go out, bought some furniture, and tried my first ever "ayam geprek" here. but turns out it's not the "ayam geprek" that I am familiar with. the chicken is ordinary fried chicken............ yea you know what I MEAN... and the most interesting thing is that they eat it with soup/? idk you name it... yea yea weird... :( but as long as there is a sambel.. 100% have no problem with it. I can eat it forever.

aug 9, started reading a new book! I have so many reading lists, but I have no time:( currently, I read a book by Japanese authors, Ichiro Kishimi and Fumitake Koga, The Courage to be Happy: True Contentment Is Within Your Power (English edition), also, resume reading a manhwa named 이번 생도 잘 부탁해 by 이혜 (Lee Hey) 작가님.

aug 11, first-time faculty TOUR! my faculty color is kinda interesting, it's PURPLE! heheh. I found it cool because the building is literally in LIGHT purple. yea, not an ordinary purple. the tour is NOT fun. feeling exhausted and I am literally sweating A LOT. my bad for saying that the campus is BIG. no! the faculty itself is SO BIGGGGGG!

aug 13, went to some places with my faculty (of engineering) from my host university in Palembang (such as Jakabaring Sport City [venue of the 18th Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang 2018]; the uni Palembang campus; Ampera Bridge; LRT Station; and last but not least OPI Mall). saved my precious money because I had free lunch lol.

aug 17, the independence day of Indonesia, yeaa I had to wake up at 6 am. and get ready for the ceremony. but, not the formal one.

aug 18, I WANT "SATE AYAM". but end up didn't get one. :( + started watching a new Korean drama called "Adamas".

aug 24, submitted my first ever deadline of the semester, that the lecturer gave the assignment just right before the day! and bcs of my health, I decided to begin work on it d-day at 3 am. and I have extra feeling proud of the outcome.

aug 25, me and my friends tried to go to the mall in Palembang by ourselves. it's an uneasy and excruciating experience, but we tried to enjoy the process lol. and we decided to go to PI. we ate some japanese meals, bought groceries, etc. we go out at 9 am, it takes one and a half to reach Palembang, from our place(main campus), then we back at 2.30 pm, and set foot on our place at 4.15 pm. ofc feeling exhausted.

aug 28, originally I should attend a "lomba 17an" , but it was my 1st day of (a girl) period. sad. so I stayed in my room.

aug 31, submitted my second+third assignment of the semester (a different subject as before). actually, the lesson is a little bit the same as back in my freshman year, but because of that I NEEDED TO FIGURED IT OUT! lol.

sept 4, nothing much different, still struggling... with this and that.

I'll wrap it out with a quote from the book I currently reading "because the reality right in front of us never waits—it's moving constantly from moment to moment. you can't just sit back and do nothing!" –youth, preamble xiv

Seventeen in Toronto Highlights (Long Post)

this is gonna be such a shit post im basically ranting bc i have a lot of seventeen feels rn (its gonna be long too)

the concert happened like 4 days ago and I’m still not over it

Okay so I live in new Brunswick so it was a 15 hour drive one way. We drove up the day before and drove home the day after.

It was tiring, but so worth it. One of the best experiences of my life(oh btw i went with a friend ^^)

(not relevant to the concert but we went to a cute Korean store called Sarah and Tom which had a MASSIVE collection of kpop albums so I bought Going Seventeen and a BTS album :) )

Alright so the concert was at a place called Massey Hall which is more like a theater than a concert stadium [lowkey looked like a place you would go to see a play or an opera or some shit]

it was a pretty small place so really no matter where you sat, you could see really well so any seat was a good seat

Me and my friend were center-balcony near the back so we had a very clear view of the stage (other than there was some tall dude in front of me so it was a bit difficult at times)

We arrived outside the venue at around 6:20 (concert started at 7) and the line to get in already went around a whole block. People were stopping to ask what was going on and apparently it made the Toronto news??

So we get in at around 6:40 and the venue is already more than half full and theyre just playing music videos and everyone was singing along

And when I say everyone was singing along i mean everyone

Honestly I only remember a few of the songs but I they played BoomBoom, Very Nice, Highlight, Healing, and Check In

I have never been happier in my entire life when every single damn person in the venue did Mingyu’s “WhhoAHHH YeaAAHHH’ part. Super. Fucking. Loud

Alright so let me tell you my dudes, It was the biggest adrenaline rush when all the lights went out and you could see the boys run out on stage in the dimness. My heart felt like it stopped.

The lights turn on and I hear Dokyum say “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Diamond Edge” but honestly I wasnt even paying attention bc I was just so blown away

Literally my very first thought upon seeing them was “They’re not real” bc the very first person I looked at was Jeonghan and I thought he was so damn gorgeous he must be fake

He’s literal ethereal. I could go off about how good looking he is. Honestly the true visual of Svt (i swear hes not my bias)

So the very first stage was Pretty U and honestly I dont remember much bc i was too busy freaking out over the fact that I was actually there and they were actually here. I just remember everyone dancing along to Dokyums “Neoneoneoneo” part and all of us doing the “Yeppeuda” part

(they performed Beautiful right after and i really dont remember much of it other than the dance in the chorus [i have such a shit memory its mainly why im making this post before ill forget it all])

So after that they went straight into Adore U (which is my fav svt song although it probably isnt anymore after habits but ill talk about that in a bit)

Oh man if you thought I went off about Jeonghans visuals let me tell you about this mans vocals. They’re so sweet. Sweeter than honey. Jeonghans part in the chorus is my absolute favorite part of the song and it sounds 10000x better live. He just sings it so flawlessly while doing the dance and overall I was just so impressed??

Jihoon also sounded amazing but like let me just take a minute and say every single member sounded fucking perfect and flawless like if you aren’t stanning Seventeen then what are you doing

And the dances were so on point too. I didn’t notice any slip ups or anybody trippin or nothing. Like you’d think they’d show signs of fatigue or being tired bc they did two shows the few days before but they were all so hyped and gave their all in every stage and they genuinely looked like they were enjoying themselves

Anyways back to Adore U

Everyone in the crowd did the “Akkinda” part and I could see Soonyoung smiling so big bc of that like he was really happy bc of it

After Adore U finished they all lined up to do their intros and introduced themselves as a group and then did their individual intros

Most of them just did a casual “Hi I’m ___” but then you had the extra™️ members

Soonyoung got us all to chant something (im not sure what it was exactly I think it was ‘rock the beat’) and then he did his usual “What time is it??” “10 Hour 10 Minute” which honestly made my life i was hoping for him to do that (i love soonyoung sm honestly most of my favorite moments of the concert were bc of him)

Dokyum also did a thing where he got everyone to scream for him

All of their intros were great but none of them were as memorable as Jihoons for me

I know a lot of people were saying ‘He’s not that small in person’, but to me he was so small and cute and I just wanted to go and hug him bc hes so freaking adorable

So Jihoon’s kinda quiet and shy in general, we know that from variety shows and such but I saw it a lot in the concert. Like when other members were talking he just stood quietly with his hands folded and there was this one part where they all ran towards the edge of the stage and gave hearts and Jihoon like covered his face a bit and looked embarrassed 

So anyways he does like this cute little “Hi guys” and I just fucking melted right there. I made an audible “awwwww” sound that my friend was like ???

I love Jihoon so much and I will forever see him as the cute and adorable little smol (boi got a voice tho holy shit)

So they talked a bit more after that about how they walked around Toronto a bit the day before and how they were impressed with the crowd dancing along to Pretty U and Mingyu taught us a little chant where they would say “Seventeen Carat” and we would go ‘clap clap Ehhhhh’ it was weird but cute

So they went straight into Still Lonely from there and I hate my brain for not remembering most of it bc its one of my favorite songs but I just remember Minghao doing Jun’s part in the last chorus and sounding amazing honestly i want an official 13 member version of that song

So after that was Very Nice which was indeed, very nice. Dancing on point. Dino and Vernons rap were amazing and the whole audience did the “Maja” part

Also dont remember much of that stage but I definitely remember the last part bc thats the part where my son, Chan, is in the front. 10/10

Okay so I have 2 favorite performances of the night. One of which was Swimming Fool. I am such a hoe for Performance unit (considering 2 of my biases are in it) so actually every performance of theirs was my fav but Swimming Fool tho. 

That song is one of my favs and I had never seen the dance before so I was basically dying the whole time. Soonyoung’s little wiggle dance and the jumping up and down dance that Chan did. The whole dance was so cute tbh Ive been re-watching that video every day since. (if youve never seen the dance pls watch this. Not my video tho) 

Alright imma talk about Soonyoung for a minute. This boi. Was so hyper the entire concert. He  was doing his usual yelling during songs and was giggling a whole lot, I noticed. (He also dabbed like 20 times and i was like someone pls stop him)

(There was one part where he went and dabbed right in front of Jihoon and i laughed a little harder than i should have)

And I’m honestly so glad that Soonyoung was feeling great the whole time bc apparently at the Chicago(?) show he wasn’t able to perform bc he was sick so we were extremely blessed that all 13 members were well and healthy to perform for us so like thank u jesus for keeping them all safe

(I was lowkey worried about that a lot before the concert bc of when I heard Hyungwon was missing parts of the tour with MX so I was like “Lord pls let it be all 13″)

anywho so all the members went to change outfits and they played a vcr (dont remember what of tho i have such a shit memory)

So yall they did Mansae next and started out with the class chairs and Dokyum was the teacher at the blackboard it was rlly cute!! ^^ And towards the end they repeated the “MansaeMansae” part and got everyone to do the dance it was such a great time

So while the rest of the group was preparing for the next stage(i presume), Chan and Seungcheol came out, just the two of them, with a gopro and said it was the camera for “Going Seventeen” and were filming the crowd and interacting with us a bit. And then they had a dance battle (Which Dino clearly won Seungcheol didnt stand a chance against Michael Chanson)

So then everybody came out and did BoomBoom which was  incredible (every stage was amazing i feel like i shouldnt have to say it) Most of the crowd even did the shirt thing which was really fun. Chan slayed his rap (i love my son)

So after that there was another vcr and the members changed outfits again

Vocal unit came out and sang We Gonna Make It Shine and boys let me say I have never fell in love with someone vocals so much before in my life. Like I’ve always loved Jihoon’s voice bc it was unique and its got a nasally tone to it and I love it, but hearing it in person made me love it 100x more

And for a while I actually thought Jihoon wasn’t singing?? Bc he just sounded so flawless, like exactly like the recording that I thought ‘maybe hes lip singing bc his throat is bad or something’ and I’m hitting myself now for even thinking that bc really Lee Jihoon is just the most amazing vocalist I’ve ever heard Boo Seungkwan who???

So yeah Vocal unit slayed even though I’ll always like the 2014 version of that song with Soonyoung better

As soon as that song ended they went straight into Don’t Listen and omg let me talk about visuals. The stage had this whole setup with a table with some fancy ass candles on it and there was a throne that Joshua was sitting in and the lighting was really eerie and I really don’t listen to that song much but im gonna listen to it every day from now on bc damn

HipHop unit had their turn next where they did some song which I had never heard of before called “On Haeng Il Chi” and it was dope then went into Check In and once again everyone did Mingyus “ohhhhhHHh yeahH” part (glorious I tell you)

Seungcheol was serving looks the whole time bc he was wearing this black suit set and he just looked so good the whole time. Honestly Seungcheol was such a tease the whole concert and i got a look at his thighs at one point and man he thicc

Vernon was also wearing this nice green shirt and I just really liked it for some reason and I wish I had taken more pictures and videos I hate myself for not doing that

AlrIGHT Performance Unit time!!! So leadin up to the concert I thought they were gonna perform “WHO” bc it was a bonus track and I just thought they would perform it for some reason so when they were all standing there ready for the song to start, the amount of confusion on my face when OMG came on… Wasn’t disappointed tho that performance was awesome

Still would like to see a performance of WHO tho I hope they’ll do that next time

And then they did Highlight and me and my friend even switched seats so I could get a better video of it bc I love that song so much. Also leading up to the concert I knew they were going to do this song but I wasn’t sure if they were going to do 13 member version or not but I’m glad it was just the 4 of them

Oh man okay I’m gonna talk about my bias, Chan, for a second. His stage presence in every song is seriously amazing. A main reason why hes my bias is bc im a huge fan of his dancing and his dance style(and he pretty cute) and seeing him perform live was incredible. it was almost overwhelming bc I couldnt believe someone this talented existed and I was watching them in their element 

Like he put his all into the dance while still executing his raps and vocals perfectly. His voice actually does sound a bit different live, like its a bit higher than I expected but he was so on point the whole night why is he such an underrated member

Okay so the members had another outfit change after this and these outfits were straight up sinful. Not to mention the first song they performed in them was equally as sinful so I’m going to on about this performance bc this was the best performance imo. I will never forget it. It’s ingrained into my brain forever

So Crazy In Love starts. Okay so I don’t listen to this song much as far as just listening to it in my free time, but I’d seen the dance before so as soon as I heard the music, I knew we were royally fucked. I wasn’t expecting this song probably bc i forgot it existed but its my new fav song guys this performance ruined me. 

So the lights come on at the very first part and these mofos are wearing tight black skinny pants (which looked like they were leather but they werent) and red silk sparkly shirts that were tucked in. Every single member looked flawless 

(Also didn’t mention this before but all of their hair was styled so well bless the stylists. I normally prefer a more natural color for hair on idols so I was glad the colorful dye had faded and most of them just went with black or brown)

But lord have mercy when the song started. Okay Chan is my bias but I could not stop staring at Soonyoung almost the entire time - minus for Chan’s “talking about love” part (which I remember doing the dance for and screaming while doing so)

Like you get Swimming Fool Soonyoung whos all cute and playful and going “YEEEE HAWW” during the song and then you get Crazy In Love Soonyoung whos all bedroom eyes and sexy glares and just everything about the way he moves is mesmerizing (i swear. Hes NOT my bias)

So getting through the first chorus is hard enough when BOTH my bias and bias wrecker are up in front doing that provocative shit and I was so conflicted on which one to stare at but I ended up staring at Soonyoung the whole time. 

And then in the second chorus when it’s just Jeonghan doing it and both me and my friend screamed so loud ugh the outfits were so perfect for this dance i wanted to D I E

And then it gets to the Part in the song yknow the “Ooohhhhh” part where they spin around and when it was Soonyoungs part to do that by himself. I don’t even have words for how that made me feel. That image is in my mind forever. You know that meme thats like “you ever wonder whats going on in someones head?” well yeah its that for me

It’s just Soonyung doing that one dance move

okay moving on Ive talked about this enough

My I was right after and I’d never seen the dance to that either and it was really beautiful and cool like idk how to describe it. It was like a very romantic type of dance and Jun and Minghao had such great chemistry on stage together they really blew me away

OKay now imma freak out some more bc Vocal Unit performed Habits. I actually recorded this whole song so I wasn’t really paying attention to what was happening on stage bc they were all just standing there with mic stand anyways. I was enjoying the audio and their lovely vocals. (Again, Jihoon really exceeded my expectations in this song. Like for some members like Dokyum and Seungkwan I know theyre gonna sound great and its not like I didn’t for the rest but I’m just still not over how good EVERYONE sounded)

So I’m enjoying them vocals and the song ends and my friend taps on my arm and points to her face and there are actual tears. This bitch really cried. At the time I was like “during Habits of all songs??” but i was so naive now I understand(I cried 2 days later listening to that song)

Hiphop unit then did If I which I remember 0 of I think I was still too shook from Vocal Unit

I just remember their little hip thrust dance and then immediately after was a ment and Soonyoung was mimicking HH units dance and giggling like an idiot and got the whole crowd to sing and dance to If I

“Ohh Toronto. Dancing good”

Then they were all arguing over which unit’s performance suited Toronto the best but then decided that they all did

And then Soonyoung dabbed

Too many times

Everyone also dabbed with him this group is a M E S S

And then they got Jeonghan to do Aegyo so he spun around and made a heart and said “Toronto I love you!” in the cutest voice possible I swear I’m in love with Jeonghans voice

And then Wonwoo did a cute little dance to which we all chanted ‘Go Wonwoo’ for and then Soonyoung dabbed

again

(It made Jihoon cringe every time)

Then Jeonghan tried to get Seungkwan to sing something and Boo was like ‘moVING ON” but he gave in and sang a bit of Hello by adele which was really nice. Like damn the acoustics in that theater were no joke bc its a theater (i assume) made for plays and stuff and him singing without any track sounded really nice.

And then they asked my boi Chan to dance so he started singing Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and doing the hipthrust dance and Seungkwan ran over like ‘nOO”. But Chan just kept dancing and singing and having a good time and being w i l d  to which Seungcheol cracked up at. He literally fell on the floor laughing

And they kept going on about how this was a totally special stage for Toronto, “only for Toronto”

So then they went on to say they were gonna perform a very “hot” song next and my clueless ass was like ‘Don’t wanna cry?’ but naw it was ROCK which I only recorded part of bc the lighting was bad and my phone sucks

But okay I can just say that Wonwoo’s voice sounds 10x deeper in person. If you thought his rap was really deep in that song, wait until you hear it live. For a long time Wonwoo was my favorite rapper in kpop and I think hes regaining that title he was very good the whole night and I really like his deep voice

and then they did Chuck which was SO AMAZING HOLY CRAP

I love that song sm in the first place but I love it even more now upon seeing and hearing it in person. I recorded a bit of that one too and love it i watch that video like 3 times a day

So then they had another short Ment where they taught us the dance to Chuck and Soonyoung doing the “brrrr” part was so adorable I wanted to die. (I feel like Im talking about Soonyoung a lot but im just so glad he was able to perform in Toronto ilysm)

So then Vernon was like “I actually have some bad new for yall” and all the members were like ‘whaaat??’ and pretending to be shocked

So Vernon goes on: “The next song is actually the last song for the night” and Soonyoung made this fake crying noise and then dabbED LIKE 5 TIMES

That was when he went over to Jihoon and dabbed right in front of him and then was like “Oh my god our last song?”

and then Vernon being the cheeky ass that he is was like “Yeah and I really dont wanna cry about it” and then him and Soonyoung went to the back of the stage to “cry” and all the other members were “crying”

Then Vernon came back and like “I wonder what our next song is tho? Hm????” and im like really bitch

So Soonyoung yelled ‘are you ready’ a few times and then they performed Don’t Wanna Cry which was INCREDIBLE 

They were all in perfect sync like im seriously amazed. These boys probably have to practice day and night to get dances like that. It was amazing

So the boys left the stage for a bit and there was a another vcr which was of all the member explaining what carats were to them and it was really sweet and my friend cried again (she cried like 3 times that night) and I died at Jihoons bc there was this short clip of him and hes just so darn cute

so they came out again and performed Shining Diamond but were wearing casual jeans and half were wearing blue shirts and the other half were wearing pink shirts and Soonyoung looked so good in that outfit bc his shirt was tucked in in the front and his hair was just so great

anyways they all looked like they had fun performing that song and Soonyoung was yelling as usual and there was one part of the dance that was super satisfying bc all the colors of the shirts lined up and it was just really nice to look at. 

And then they performed Healing which we had special banners to hold up during. There was one part I remember bc I couldnt see bc everyone was holding their banners above their heads, but Seungcheol jumped onto Mingyus back and koala hugged him for a good minute and a half and Mingyu kept trying to get him off and Seungcheol just smiled like an idiot and latched on. Eventually he got down and then grabbed his water bottle and dumped half of it onto the people in the front(splash zone)

So once that song ended, Toronto Carats had actually prepared something special for Seventeen. So certain seats had a red board on it that you would hold up after Healing ended but only so many seats had them so it made a message in the crowd and I think it was just 2 hearts and ‘1 7′ and the members looked really surprised like Vernon and Minghao were next to each other and were like :O

Seungcheol and Jeonghan looked really shocked too, overall none of them expected it

So then the goodbye ments came and I was ready to die as soon as they started. They all said the similar kind of thing like “we had a good time we’ll come again soon ect…” 

But Minghao’s was all in english and it was the cutest damn thing i have ever heard in my life. He started out with “Today I am so happy because of our Toronto Carats energy.”

and then says the cutest shit ever: “We are like friends. We look after each other and love each other” He also kept looking over at Vernon to make sure he was saying it right

and then he said something like “we care for each other” and the fkcigingf df went “and everyone, don’t be sick. Always be happy okay?” IN LIKE THE CUTEST WAY POSSIBLE I WANTED TO SCREAM I MEAN I PROBABLY DID BUT STILL

and then I only remember Chan saying something like “We’ll be back soon, and when we are you have to promise that you’ll come to our show” and then Soonyoung and Seungcheol held out their pinkies for us to promise them and I held my pinky bc I damn promise if they come to Toronto again I will be seeing them for sure. Or I’ll try my best anyways

and they all gave us hearts and said they loved us and did a bow and then all had to leave the stage and I almost cried;;

I remember Soonyoung was the last to leave the stage bc he kept waving and saying goodbye

Also I remember a person sticking their hand out one last time and it was kind funny bc I just see this random hand pop out for like a split second. I didn’t know who it was at the time, but I later found out it was Dokyum :3

So yeah, he’s not my bias, but Soonyoung made my night

Anyways. I’m still having post-concert depression. Honestly I don’t think I’ll ever be able to listen to another seventeen song again without crying. All in all, it was one of the best nights of my life and if it wasn’t for my best friend who bought the tickets and surprised me with them and her mom who drove us up the whole long way. Highlight of my summer.

stranger things season 2 review, spoilers

I mean, a masterpiece as always lol so thats good. i was nervous because sometimes things have good seasons and dud seasons and the trailer hadnt looked great.

on the up side, solid plot, good closure, nice performances as usual, i feel like they developed the characters [and their senses of style lol] more so thats cool! nice like, directing/cinematography, is that whats it called ? -like, just like last season, so many/nearly [it felt like] all the shots were superr well crafted, really aesthetically pleasing lol/ like nice to look at. i really liked/appreciated how they did a thing this season too, -of incorporating some kind of new medium to explore a problem - like last season they used christmas lights/lights/electricity throughout the house for communication, to explore the main problem and this season they still did something like that, using the kid’s drawings all around the house to use as a map. thought that was creative/engaging,  fun and dynamic . some nice music this season.

on the down side, idk, i feel like idk if it was because it was still new to us last season so it still had novelty, but the villains/dark side/ “Upside Down” had a lot more intrigue last season..like, i liked the scene in the end, with El’ in the elevator with the policeman in the upside down, it was epic, nicely done with the reflections off all the shining backs of the bad hounds beneath them, running on the ground, with all the texturee of the grosss upside down all aroundd them, glowing, and the large shadow of the Boss of the bad guys, looming and approaching them ominously, behindd the gross sticky curtain all around them, and how that made the good guys look super small. seeing that setting that way really emphasized the vastness and awefulness/grossness/ scariness of the bad guys’ world, which was good characterization. i love getting to explore both the world of the good guys and that of the bad guys and getting to see both well developed. but idk how else they could have done it specifically - but i wish they couldve added more or elaborated on the bad guys’ side this season too, like how i feel like i got to know the good guys more this year? like i kind of already knew those monsters from before/couldve guessed who they were, i didnt really learn anything new about them. not very complex . although in a way i see their appeal - i kindd of did like how the bad guys’ world/premise was simple enough, -sometimes you get overwhelmed when things are too complicated, but as long as it makes sense and has a certainn aesthetic -enough to be interesting, and are scary enoughh, i could get into them. i think thats part of why i like this show too: that it takes place in the 80′s which comes with kind of a slower pace and simpler way about it but it makes it easier enough for me to digest , easy and nice .

personally, yeah like i said, the simplicity of the villains i guess i understand and can appreciate in a way but.. i like complex villains and .. personally they kinda put damper on amphibians for me :/ lol cause theyre nearly amphibious lol.. i missed El, I’d liked the female lead involvement before but i feel she barely had any lines or role this season. idk maybe i just wasnt watching close enough and there was as much girl lines as boys’ in this season as last. i like the openness to bending gender stereotypes, rock it. it was fun to see all the cast be growing up and becoming more confident and coming into their own! but like secretly im kindd of glad its over, because with like scary stories, yeaa they can be good and id probs watch all million seasons of it if there were that many, but secretly its kind of stressfull having an emotional roller coaster be so drawn out over seasons and seasons if its all a scary story lol, and you happen to be attached to likeable characters who you’re always worried about if theyll be okay, and rooting for ha.
