What was Stan's/the twins reaction to the rescue?

ford doesn't actually tell his family about the rescue mission, he just says he's going on some kind of expedition and won't be back for a while. he seems to have a habit of disappearing with little warning (see: lost legends, face it) so they probably don't suspect too much. im sure they start getting suspicious later, but don't really have a way of contacting ford to question him lol

he also doesn't plan on taking bill back to his dimension - he wants to find somewhere safe from the theraprism and leave him there. it might seem a little cold, but after everything, he wouldn't want bill near his dimension or family. he doesn't trust him... for now.

whether or not his plans change, i want to keep that ambiguous, just so i can play around with all the different possibilities. so saying that he did bring him back to his dimension? the rest of the pines would have to find out about bill themselves because he still wouldn't tell them!! what if they handed bill back over to the theraprism, or left him out in the woods to rot, or worse?? im not sure whether his worries would turn out true, but it would be,, messy, to say the least.
