doing this for both Siren S/I (Nisk, it/he) and Dragon S/I (Ardith, he/him) (with Cahir yayayayay) (Each relationship has its own AU)

💚 What do both of you want from the relationship? Are either of you getting it?

Ardith wants to see Cahir punished for his past actions, he thinks he needs to protect the man from himself and a life of sin. But he also keeps him as a trophy, Cahir is a high ranking man, claiming someone such as him as your own expresses a certain power. Cahir was at first entirely opposed to their relationship, considering it's almost entirely built on his suffering, but Ardith's possessiveness has proven itself valuable many times. The dragon keeps him save from the outside world.

Nisk is just in it because it's curious as shit. Cahir is like a toy to him, a very attractive toy, but a toy nonetheless. It greatly enjoys being able to make Cahir writhe and squirm in pain, fear or lust. Entertainment is what he wants, and gets, out of it. Cahir is not quite aware of what he wants, and if he wants their union at all. He does not know how much of his feelings are influenced by the hypnotic powers of a siren. But mostly he craves satisfaction, which Nisk provides, or not, quite unreliably to always keep him on edge.

👁️ Is there anyone else in your f/o's universe who knows about your relationship? How do they feel about it?

Others know about Ardith and Cahir, mostly because Ardith's habit to keep Cahir on a collar and chain is not all that subtle. Most strangers do not care, besides being generally weirded out. However Ardith also makes sure they do not go out into public as often, to shield his priced possession from greedy eyes. The most outrage they caused was when Cahir insisted to negotiate with the witchers at Kaer Morhen. Geralt was mostly unsure if the largely inhumane treatment of Cahir appalled him, or if he was glad someone was keeping him in check.

With Nisk and Cahir it's more or less just a general assumption the Nilfgaardian court has about one of its knights. Cahir is often seen welcoming a strange man into his quarters and behaving oddly around bodies of water or snow. There have been times he came in drenched and would not speak to a single guard and then awake the next day with no memory what has happened. Nearly every night feathers can be found at his window sill. And one especially cold winter day, someone claimed, he even ventured out into the garden and was later found completely nude and nearly frozen to death but covered in a thousand kissing marks. The people know something is going on, something very unusual, something, perhaps, demonic.

📅 When you first saw their source material, did you know you wanted to explore this dynamic with them? Has your selfship dynamic changed since you first started shipping with them?

For Ardith definitely yes, I saw Cahir in all his questionable glory and was immediately attracted to him but also couldn't really let that feeing sit without a deep urge to see him punished.

For Nisk I really came up with it on a whim maybe two months ago.

Ok here are the list of traitors plus information because I am so smart and detectivy

Armin: Armin is Y/n’s teacher and seems to know a lot of her habits and lying etc. Armin is smart and may have had a time with her where she heeled his pain or made him feel happy. He may have felt that this power was too great and wanted to murder her. After all, someone as smart as him could’ve found out that she was allergic to coffee or she would have told him out of innocence.

Elijah: he seems to know a lot about y/n’s powers by the end of chapter 22. How does he know all of this stuff???? that’s the real question. He may have felt threatened by her powers and is scared she can take over his place and king. Its highly unlikely though.

Ambrose: we all know Ambrose as someone who enjoys attention and flatter. Due to the lack of attention he got from his parents due to y/n he may have felt envious. He probably made a plan with someone to murder her. He also told jean to stay away from her if my memory is correct so I wouldn’t really put it past him.

Historia: she’s knows more then she should and plus y/n is the reason her lovers dead.

This is based off what I have read and remembered, how I analyze the author’s writing, and the small snippet she showed us. By analyzing it I sense that y/n is talking to someone who knows a lot behind jean’s imprisonment. This is why it couldn’t be jean, his mom, or prince Felix. It couldn’t be Solana even though she is sus because she seems to care a lot about y/n just in her own… unique manner. I don’t feel as though it is mikasa because her and mikasa had some sort of attraction and they have a strong friendship going on.

Right now my bet is really on Ambrose. As you know when y/n was poisoned they were all in the kitchen, who also lives in the same palace and goes to the same kitchen… AMBROSE. Also it may be jealousy because of jean and stuff. I’m not sure who the second traitor will be but I hope to find out soonnnnn. (I really hope it’s none of the brothers).

Doing this one for Lestrade cause I've been thinking a lot about him lately and I don't do him justice with my total lack of posting about him :)

💙 - What tropes does your selfship fall under?

Idiots in love mainly! Definitely a lot of presumably one sided pining, and each thinking their affections are unrequited. Workplace romance and friends to lovers as well! I love me a good friends to lovers!

🍁- How did your f/o and s/i meet?

s/i runs errands for others all around London, and eventually has to play courier for Scotland Yard, getting roped into one of their cases. Knowing his way around most nooks and crannies of the city proves itself useful and he manages to help Lestrade and his team a great deal to solve the big riddle. He ends up with an actual employment as courier for Lestrade and offers occasional advice when Holmes is not available, or the great detective just decided that their matters are below him.

🍇 - How did you get introduced to your f/o?

(sorry if I'm answering this wrong but I'm just gonna assume that this is how I got introduced to my f/o as a character) A couple years ago I started listening to audio dramas while doing my little arts and crafts and I specifically started with a Sherlock Holmes based series :) And Lestrade just seemed so charmingly dull, additionally in later episodes, and later on in other series that play in the same universe, Lestrade was voiced by a voice actor I really like and his character got worked out further into being just... really charming and occasionally relatable.

🌷 - How different is your f/o in your head compared to canon?

I think I'm sticking quite close to canon with him? The audio series I'm specifically sourcing him from (Inspector Lestrade - Ein Fall für Scotland Yard) is intended to be completely canon compliant with Doyle's original works, and except for his affections to my s/i I didn't change much about him. Maybe that I interpret his marriage to be completely platonic, but even that is not going strictly against the audio dramas established canon.

Love her art so much, the artstyle reminds of those smooth round gray stones you can find on some beaches (in a positive way of course, I love them!). I absolutely adore the dnd au designs as much as also their regular life series/hermitcraft art <33 the colouring is always cool whether it's greyscale or regular colours, or the mix of two, it's always satisfiyng to look at!!
