“Detective Conan” Creator's “Yaiba” The Manga Receives New Anime

Publishing house Shogakukan revealed a new anime based on the Yaiba manga by Detective Conan (Case Closed) author Gosho Aoyama. It was also disclosed that Aoyama is overseeing the whole manga adaptation.

Prompt: AU (Alternative Universe)

Actually MuneTaku Week is over now, but after this one I have two drawings left, so I still want to finish the rest 🙂

I chose to draw Ibuki and Shindou as part of the anime Battle Spirits Sword Eyes since it's an anime I watched last month that I really liked. Shindou is taking Hagakure's place as Green Sword Eye of Light while Ibuki is the White Sword Eye of Darkness instead of Yaiba. I also changed their clothes color to fit the color scheme of Hagakure and Yaiba

(adding also the original BS characters to give you a better context since this anime is pretty obscure so I'm pretty sure none of you would know what the hell I'm talking about 😅)

I don't personally care about the story tbh, I probably won't be watching it ... But I do have to say that after seeing the trailer, the animation looks really promising. It's crazy to see the true potential gosho's style has, makes me wonder what the conan anime could look like too...

Aww there is this reference of MK in the final chapter of Yaiba.

"Nakamori and Kuroba are a couple" Kaiao has been canon a long time ago, guys. Cute!! (I saw some post said that Shinichi is like the only one out of the Gosho boys who has an official girlfriend and then I suddenly remembered this 😆) The fact that Gosho early have a idea for the end of the MK manga but don't have time to draw it 🤧🤧.

(I know this is Alternative world having magic and stuff but still haha. I think it's funny that MK is like the middle child who like have traits from both of their older and younger siblings lmao) Magic and science.
