My SWTOR main, Xira has been through so much and I'm so proud of her and her growth 🥹

Okay, I have a few Star Wars OCs, and they're pretty much all SWTOR characters except for the sona I made so I can hang out with my GF when she joins Mando Mercs and the characters for our Fan Comic (but I don't want to spoil them too much). My favorite however is my first SWTOR character:

Xira Rhyze

Xira was born a slave to a Sith who liked to experiment with cybernetic enhancements. Her family had been slaves for generations and she quickly learned to do what she had to do to survive. When she was in her late teens, she nearly killed her master with an explosion of Force and was shipped off to Korriban. She took quickly to Sith politics and managed to start making her way up in the world.

I'm not going to detail the entire story but I love Xira with all my heart because she just happened to have perfect thematic resonance with the plot points in her quest lines.

Her story is one of constant growth, discovery, and rebirth - first with the Cult of Revan, then discovering she's descended from a Sith after all, then becoming a Lord. And even still she's clawing and working and watching her back at all times and in an attempt to gain power she nearly kills herself. In order to heal herself, she is once again reborn, this time literally when her body is remade by the Rakata Mother Machine. And then she becomes a member of the Dark Council; Darth Nox. A name that is her own, a body that is her own, power that is her own.

She's clever and charismatic and has a knack for getting what she wants. After the Mother Machine, she takes an interest in Sith Alchemy, in enhancing the body with the Force, and through that discovers a love of plants and beasts. She has a pet Vorn Tiger that she raised from kittenhood named Evarn (a send up to Revan, her first idol). Her closest friends are a fiercely passionate and caring Jedi, Ashara Zavros, and the Emperor's Wrath, my gf's character Pharren who she met on Korriban, and despite how much she cares for them she can never truly let them in because if they decide to hurt her, she has to be prepared and UGH I LOVE HER SO MUCH. She means the world to me.

Xira and her pet vorn tiger, Evarn, having a good wrestle on Odessen between missions.

She's had him since he was a cub and they're very close so she makes sure to take time to give him personal enrichment. Besides, he tries to bite Theron any time he gets too close and Lana is terrible with animals so she's the only one who can really do it.
