10 Best Xiaomi Phones 2019
Tumblr media
In September Xiaomi unveiled the first 108Mp camera phone in the Mi Mix Alpha, though the feature that will really steal the headlines is its double folding flexible display, which wraps right around the body to create a 180.6% screen-to-body ratio. It's a concept phone in small scale production, but the also-announced Mi 9 Pro will be easier to get hold of. Both are 5G phones. Here is a list of the best smartphones from Xiaomi that are already on sale and you can buy them. #xiaomi #redmi #note #mi #phone #smartphones #gadgets #bestideas4yours

Samsung Galaxy S11 Rumours Suggest a punch hole Design Camera.
Tumblr media
On our way with completing 2019, we are anticipating the South Korean Tech giants’ next moves. Concerning the legacy of the S-series, we do expect that Samsung would unveil its Galaxy S11 by next February.2020
Adding to this, it’s rumoured to be a camera-focused premium smartphone. People might question the credibility of the rumours as it’s too early to talk about a smartphone unveiling in February of the forthcoming year. But the world is already full of rumours and leaks of the Apple iPhone and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note which will be launched in the third quarter of the year, then why not to talk about the Samsung Galaxy S11.
According to the Ice Universe, Samsung’s insider, Samsung codenamed the Galaxy S11 as Picasso, after the famous painter.
“Someone asked about the Galaxy S11, there are four things that can be confirmed:
1. Codename "Picasso"
2. The camera has a substantial upgrade
3. Based on Android Q One UI 2.x
4. Hole in the display is smaller than Note10
Other than that, it is unknown.”
-Ice Universe
@UniverseIce
Back in the days notched Samsung smartphones were just a thought but now notch is everywhere even Samsung has joined the race. With that, even the customers are impressed with Samsung following the trend and jumping into the notch thing. It’s already known that Galaxy S11 will be highly inspired by the build of the Galaxy S10.
We know that Samsung is currently working on an infinity display. We can expect it on the Galaxy S11 along with a punch-hole design to place the camera. It is an undeniable fact that Samsung is aiming to create a “perfect full-screen” smartphone that would set a trend in the market. Placement of the fingerprint sensor would play a crucial role to upgrade the screen to an infinity display as its placement will boost slimmer side bezels and a properly placed camera would lead to a thinner forehead and a reduced chin altogether. But as we know, good things don’t come easily.
Tumblr media
Samsung should be clear on what they are aiming to and prepare it with proper engineering to avoid something like the Galaxy Note 7 massacre.
A few months back the company launched 2 new sensors, a 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 and a 48-megapixel ISOCELL BRIGHT GM2. The company added, “The 64 MP sensor provides the best resolution in any lens launched so far. It makes use of a tetra cell technology which makes it easier to capture sharp images even in the absence of much light. Samsung Galaxy S11 will feature this 64 MP camera in its models.”
The Galaxy S11’s main camera is rumoured to be similar to the one found on the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, an ultra-wide-angle shooter, a dedicated Time-of-Flight sensor, and an upgraded telephoto camera capable of 5x optical zoom.
For now, as per the rumours, Samsung might fuse the Note-series and the S-series to launch a smartphone namely Galaxy One. Till the time this thing is just a rumour we speculate that Samsung will be launching the Galaxy S11 in late February in the forthcoming year at a standalone Unpacked event.

Mobile App Industry with 5G
Tumblr media
We're near the edge of another mobile communications revolution as the entire world prepares for 5G connectivity. For Singapore’s top mobile app developers, this will be another path for mobile devices to connect to the Internet, and this fifth-generation technologies will influence the entire mobile development industry and consumers.
In this article, we'll talk about the ways 5G will affect the mobile app industry and what mobile app owners need to never really change to a fifth-generation world.
Status quo
At present, the entire world is getting a charge out of 4G connectivity, which is the most well-known mobile network technology. Preceding 4G were 2G and 3G, rising during the 1990s and 2003 individually. 4G first appeared in 2009 and was embraced worldwide by 2012.
To summarize, here's a short portrayal of how mobile connectivity advanced:
1G permitted cell connections between the primary mobile telephones
2G empowered content informing
3G gave mobile internet get to
4G made this internet get to faster
Contrasted with 3G, 4G works amazingly quick, permitting download speeds of up to 150 Mbps contrasted with 42 Mbps on 3G. The inertness of 4G is additionally altogether lower: 75 milliseconds against 135 milliseconds for 3G.
In any case, 5G technology guarantees something other than faster connection speeds.
As should be obvious, 5G will give us faultless internet connection speeds. We should discuss what else it will offer to the two consumers and mobile app developers.
What is 5G and what are its advantages?
Set forth plainly, 5G is the cutting edge technology for mobile connections. It's not at present accessible around the world, however in several years it will totally supplant 4G and turn into a typical route for mobile devices to get to the internet.
There will be three kinds of fifth-generation tech that will run on various bands, and the band will be controlled by the operator. Be that as it may, regardless of which kind of 5G you use, it will be altogether faster than 4G, as it guarantees up to 1,000 times the speed of current 4G networks.
The primary advantages of fifth-generation networks are:
fundamentally higher speeds of up to 3 Gbps — a few gauges even anticipate that 5G bandwidth may arrive at 20 Gbps
amazingly low dormancy at around only 1 millisecond
the capacity to connect bunches of devices at the same time, which will be particularly helpful for IoT frameworks.
Every one of these features will bring about these advantages:
Capacity to stream 4K content
Backing for higher goals pictures and videos
Capacity to bring all networks onto one stage
Progressively compelling utilization of smart sensors and IoT devices, particularly in complex mechanical frameworks
When will 5G be accessible?
5G began to turn out in select cities in 2018, however just in 2019 did it begin to spread. Notwithstanding this current, it's as of now accessible in just around 100 cities in the US and around 90 cities in the UK.
Different nations likewise have fifth-generation portions, the vast majority of them in significant European cities. As of now, the Netherlands is the most canvassed nation in Europe, with more than 1,000 territories with financially accessible 5G.
Notwithstanding, to gain admittance to new sort of connectivity at this moment, users not just need to live in a zone secured by a fifth-generation network yet additionally have a 5G smartphone. As of now, these are the smartphones that help 5G:
Honor V30
Huawei MatePad Pro 5G
Huawei Mate X
Huawei Mate 20 X (5G)
LG V50 and V60 ThinQ 5G
Moto Z3, Z4
Moto Z2 Force
Nokia 8.3 5G
Nubia X 5G
OnePlus 8 Pro
OnePlus 8
OnePlus 7T Pro 5G
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G
Oppo Find X2 Pro
Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G (China-only)
Oppo Reno 10x Zoom 5G
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G
Samsung Galaxy S10 5G
Samsung Galaxy Fold
Samsung Galaxy A90 5G
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G
Samsung Galaxy A51 5G
Sony Xperia 1 II
Xiaomi Mi 10
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha
Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G
ZTE Axon 10s Pro
ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G
Apple is supposed to help 5G also in its 2020 iPhone. Until this point in time, no Apple products have support for it, and Apple is known to be somewhat delayed with adjusting their hardware and software to new networks, as they like to test it altogether and ensure it doesn't influence device performance.
Technologies that will profit the most from 5G
Augmented, virtual, and mixed reality
Augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR) are data-heavy technologies that require high internet speeds to work appropriately. They're at present dealing with 4G, however the up and coming generation of mobile connectivity will open more chances to businesses that utilization AR — for instance, those in entertainment and manufacturing.
While augmented reality has consistently been a mobile technology, this hasn't been the situation for VR, which requires significantly more data processing. With 5G, users will have the option to appreciate VR from their mobile devices and this technology may get the second breath it needs.
Video streaming
As indicated by self-revealed YouTube data, 70% of all YouTube traffic originates from mobile devices. YouTube and other streaming stages may consider a to be in mobile use as another gen connectivity spreads, as it will give very quick load times.
As of now, practically 60% of all mobile traffic is devoted to videos, however individuals often watch them at a low quality of 360p or 420p. With another network, mobile users will have the option to watch videos in a lot higher goals. What's more, we're talking not simply 720p or 1080p — in 2019, Japanese organizations explored different avenues regarding streaming 8K ultra-HD video with 5G.
Mobile games
Gaming will profit by the higher bandwidth of fifth-generation connections: developers will have the option to make increasingly perplexing and requesting games that users will have the option to access from anyplace.
In particular, games that join AR will can possibly be considerably further developed, profiting by high data transmission speeds.
Internet of Things
While 4G is extraordinary, its impediments cause lag in huge IoT frameworks, particularly mechanical ones. With new sort of connectivity, IoT will have the option to ascend to its maximum capacity, as 5G will permit developers and consumers to join heaps of discrete devices and sensors into one huge framework.
Presently, IoT frameworks will have the option to cover entire cities lastly make smart cities a reality as opposed to a cutting edge dream.
All IoT frameworks will have the option to expand their data processing capabilities with 5G, which is particularly significant in the mechanical circle, where IoT devices help to recognize and forestall dangerous circumstances and oversee complex gracefully chains.
Location-based apps
All applications that utilization location features will profit by a fifth-generation connection, as 5G will permit precision inside only 1 meter instead of 10 to 100 meters with 4G. This will help users all the more precisely find themselves as well as other people. It will likewise permit businesses to send progressively precise location-based notifications to their clients.
Advertising
The entire advertising industry will be affected by the new networks, as businesses will have the option to send all the more fascinating promotions with regards to new ways, for example, by setting them in AR conditions.
Here are the businesses that will profit most from new networks:
Coordinations and conveyance
Human services
Smart cities
Gaming and entertainment
The most effective method to set up your apps for the 5G revolution
Watch out for security
Since 5G will take into consideration increasingly connected devices, vulnerabilities that in the past could influence two or three devices will presently influence handfuls or even hundreds. This implies another connection could make open doors for hackers. Security ought to consistently be a need, yet with such an amazing technology as 5G, developers ought to be particularly cautious.
Test your app on new 5G devices
Until further notice, new connectivity will be accessible just for users that have as of late bought devices that help it. Be that as it may, in a few years, everybody will utilize this technology. For the present, you should give close consideration to testing your apps on new devices and perceive how they carry on when utilizing a cutting edge connection.
We've given a full rundown of mobile devices that right now support 5G. Ensure you use emulators for testing as well as perform quality assurance tests on genuine devices for the most precise outcomes.
Offer a few renditions of your app for various users
To draw in fifth-generation smartphone users to your app, you can make another variant of your app only for them or include features that will be noticeable just for users of 5G telephones.
Invest in revolutionary technologies
On the off chance that you were wanting to control up your application with front line technologies like AR, IoT, or location-based administrations, presently is the ideal time. Put resources into technologies that will assist you with standing apart from the group and get ready for the cutting edge connectivity.
Last considerations
The up and coming generation of mobile networks will be essentially more impressive than current networks, permitting flawless data transmission speeds. Presently, new kind of connectivity is spreading the world over, and soon enough it will cover all regions that as of now use 4G.
This new network will be particularly valuable for Android and iOS apps that utilization AR, VR, MR, IoT, location-based administrations, or video streaming. To prepare Singapore’s top mobile app developers for the up and coming generation of mobile internet connections, ensure you give close consideration to security and test your app on the latest 5G devices.

Every 5G Phone Announced So Far So You Can Get a Faster Internet Connection
Tumblr media
Who doesn’t want faster access to the internet? The next generation of mobile internet is 5G, which is short for “fifth generation,” and it’s on the way. When you have a 5G phone, you can expect exceptional data download and upload speeds.
There’s still a long way to go until 5G is as ubiquitous as the widely-available 4G, though, and we’re still taking our first baby steps into a faster future. Whether you think we need 5G or not, we’re seeing more and more manufacturers picking up the new standard — and the first commercially-available 5G phones are out now. Here is every phone that supports 5G, and a whole bunch of rumors about some that might.
Looking for the very best examples? We’ve made a list of the best 5G smartphones you can buy.
5G phones available now
5G phones by brand
Apple
There’s absolutely no doubt Apple will pick up 5G eventually, so the only question is when. At the moment, the whispers indicate that the iPhone giant won’t be looking to release a 5G iPhone until 2020 — so expect 5G capabilities on the iPhone in 2020.
This is no surprise, really. Apple can be slow to adopt new technology, just look at how long it took for it to adopt wireless charging and water-resistance. That’s not because Apple is lazy — far from it. Instead, Apple will likely only include the standard once it’s sure it works well and is not a waste of time. Being in a dominant market position, Apple can afford to wait.
Apple phones rumored to support 5G
Google
There haven’t been any rumors from Google about a 5G update for the Pixel range but it’s early days yet. The Pixel 4 came and went without a 5G variant, leading many to suspect the Pixel 5 may be the first 5G-supported Google phone. However, rumors have reached our ears of a 5G model of the Pixel 4a. If so, this would be a real surprise. Google’s midrange Pixel line may only have debuted last year, but it wasn’t expected to be the pioneering branch of the Pixel line where 5G is concerned. However, if true, this could be an excellent way into the 5G market for anyone who doesn’t want to spend big bucks on a 5G flagship phone.
Pixel phones rumored to support 5G
HMD Global (Nokia)
Well, it had us waiting for some time, but HMD Global has finally revealed the Nokia 8.3 5G — the first 5G-enabled Nokia phone.
While we’ve been waiting a while for this phone, it was more-or-less a foregone conclusion it would arrive eventually. Nokia has been very active in helping to build 5G infrastructure and was involved with 5G networks for the 2020 Olympics. In July 2018, T-Mobile also announced it was working with Nokia to help build a U.S. 5G network. Nokia could also make $3.50 for every single 5G phone released, thanks to its work on the standard.
HMD Global (Nokia) phones that support 5G
Honor
Due to the Android licensing issues surrounding Huawei and Honor, the launch of Honor’s first 5G phone — the Honor V30 5G (also known as the Honor View 30 5G) — was a somewhat muted affair in the west. Still, it exists, opening the 5G floodgates for Huawei’s sister company. Are we likely to see more Honor phones with 5G? Absolutely. It seems sure the Honor 30S will launch with 5G after Honor president George Zhao was pictured on social media with it.
Honor phones that support 5G
Honor phones expected to support 5G
HTC
Despite rumors saying we’d be seeing a 5G HTC smartphone in the second half of 2019, we’ve heard very little from HTC. New rumors are saying a 5G HTC phone will arrive sometime in 2020. However, considering HTC’s terrible 2019, we wouldn’t be surprised to see such a phone pushed back again.
While we still haven’t seen a 5G phone from HTC yet, it has released a 5G hub your phone can use to connect to a 5G network.
Huawei
Huawei has made no secret of its ambitions for 5G, and first spoke about a handset with 5G support in February 2018. Back then, 2019 was the target date for release, and Huawei has hit that with the release of the folding, 5G-capable Huawei Mate X. Since then, Huawei has made hay, releasing the MatePad Pro 5G and Mate 20 X Pro 5G. We’re also expecting the upcoming P40 range to support 5G in at least one model.
With the Kirin 820 5G chip posting incredible benchmarks and Huawei being put in charge of building a lot of the UK’s 5G network, the 5G future is looking bright for Huawei.
Huawei phones that support 5G
Huawei phones expected to support 5G
LG
LG was hot out of the gate, and teamed up with Sprint to deliver the LG V50 ThinQ in early 2019, becoming one of the first 5G devices to hit the market. In fact, LG was so keen to get in on the 5G trend that it pushed the V50 ThinQ out a lot earlier than expected, with the phone landing on 20 June. LG gave 5G a rest for the LG G8 ThinQ, and has seemingly made it a V-range staple, adding 5G to the dual-screen LG V60 ThinQ.
LG phones confirmed to support 5G
Motorola/Lenovo
Motorola is in something of a unique position on this list because not only has it already released multiple phones with 5G capabilities, it’s also updating previous phones with 5G connectivity through a special Moto Mod. The Moto Z4 and Moto Z3 use Motorola’s Moto Mod attachment to add a 5G power pack accessory onto the back of the phone, making it possible to access 5G networks. The Moto Z2 Force, a 2017 flagship, will also get access to 5G through the mod after its Android Pie update — but only Verizon models will get that update.
The 5G Moto Mod wasn’t ready for launch earlier, but it’s finally available for from Verizon, having been released to match the switching on of Verizon’s 5G network.
But don’t expect Motorola to slow down just because it’s taken an early lead. 2020 is looking to feature more than a few Motorola phones with 5G, and top of that list is the Motorola Edge Plus. Motorola president Sergio Berniac has claimed the upcoming flagship device will sport the fastest 5G connection on the market. However, due to the cancelation of MWC, Motorola seems to have slowed down its release schedule.
Motorola phones that support 5G
Motorola phones expected to support 5G
OnePlus
OnePlus hasn’t gone mad with 5G releases, but it did jump on the bandwagon early with the OnePlus 7 Pro. The OnePlus 7T Pro was OnePlus’s second 5G phone, and OnePlus has continued its 5G support in the OnePlus 8 Pro. It’s probably a signifier of the increased maturity of 5G that OnePlus chose not to include “5G” in the title — essentially, it’s becoming more and more commonplace. Best of all, for fans of cheaper hardware, the OnePlus 8 also includes support for 5G.
OnePlus phones that support 5G
Oppo
Despite making early waves by being the first to access a 5G network, Oppo didn’t really capitalize by releasing a slew of 5G devices quickly. But that doesn’t mean it’s done nothing, and there are now a number of 5G Oppo devices available.
The Oppo Reno 10x Zoom 5G was the first, releasing in the U.K. on June 7. Since then, we’ve seen the China-only Reno 3 Pro 5G, and the stunning Find X2 Pro as well.
Oppo phones that support 5G
Realme
Relative newcomer Realme has so far excelled at providing strong phones at reasonable prices, and that philosophy has extended to its first 5G phone. The Realme X50 Pro 5G is a flagship-level device with a solid camera system that starts from just $650, making it one of the cheapest ways to access 5G.
Realme phones that support 5G
Samsung
Samsung is the largest mobile manufacturer in the world, and it would be silly to expect it to sit back and ignore 5G. Despite saying the S10 wouldn’t be Samsung’s first 5G device earlier in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G was Samsung’s first 5G phone, with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G being the second, just pipping the Galaxy Fold to the post. As expected, the Galaxy S20 range has its fair share of 5G phones. While the smallest phone, the Galaxy S20, doesn’t support 5G, the S20 Plus and massive S20 Ultra both have 5G-enabled models.
Samsung announced a new focus on its midrange phones in 2018, and it has underlined that with the introduction of a 5G version of the midrange Galaxy A90. That said, while cheaper than Samsung’s more expensive flagships, it still costs about $800, so it’s hard to call it affordable. Samsung has rectified that a little bit by launching the Galaxy A71 5G and A51 5G, offering 5G connectivity for just $600 and $500 respectively.
Samsung phones that support 5G
Sony
While we didn’t see a 5G Sony phone in 2019, 2020 has seen the reveal of the Sony Xperia 1 II, Sony’s first 5G phone. Due to be announced at the ill-fated MWC 2020, Sony’s new flagship phone sports an upgraded camera, the Snapdragon 865, and a massive CinemaWide OLED display.
Will there be more 5G Sony phones? Sony is on Qualcomm’s list of 5G partners, so it makes sense we’ll be seeing more 5G-enabled phones from Sony over the year.
Sony phones that support 5G
Xiaomi
Chinese juggernaut Xiaomi laid its cards on the table earlier than most, announcing a 5G-capable model of its Mi Mix 3 was in the works. Xiaomi took to MWC 2019 to reveal the phone and released it in May 2019, making it one of the first companies to release a 5G phone. Since then we’ve seen a modest number of 5G offerings from Xiaomi, including the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the concept phone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha.
Xiaomi phones that support 5G
ZTE
ZTE’s first 5G phone came in early 2019 when the Axon 10 Pro 5G released in Europe and China in May 2019. ZTE was a little quiet for the rest of 2019, but came roaring back in 2020 with the ZTE Axon 10s Pro. Like most other smartphone brands, these 5G devices are flagship-level phones, and come with top specs. ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia also announced a 5G phone: The Nubia X.

Today, more than 600 companies produce smartphones. But almost 80% of the global market belongs to only ten major manufacturers. This list includes South Korean Samsung (19%) and LG (3%), American Apple (12%), Finnish Nokia (1%) and Chinese Huawei (13%, including Honor), Xiaomi (9%), Oppo (9%), Vivo (8%), Lenovo (3%, including Motorola), Tecno (1%). But at the same time, Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus are divisions of the Chinese giant BBK Electronics. Thus, Xiaomi can be positioned as one of the three leaders in the Chinese segment. A wide range and a high innovative level most fully characterize the company's strategy. Today, Xiaomi offers models almost in all price segments of almost all types, including the gaming Black Shark 2, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 cameraphone, etc. Moreover, in the fall of 2019, company introduced the Mi Mix Alpha with an area of its wrap-around screen reaches 180.6% of the body area.
Tumblr media
The camera with a 108-megapixel 1/1.33-inch sensor was the second sensation from company in 2019.
Tumblr media
According to many experts, it was the most innovative announcement last year. Of course, a price of almost $ 3,000 is unlikely to allow this model to become BestSeller, but innovative concepts have a different function. In addition, in December 2019, the company introduced Xiaomi Mi Note 10 with this unprecedented 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor. Moreover, in February Xiaomi promises to introduce the fastest Xiaomi Mi 10 with a newest single-chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and innovative LPDDR5 memory.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10
In December, the company introduced the flagship Xiaomi Mi Note 10 in three colors for about $ 610 (€ 549 / £ 472).
Tumblr media
As known, the trend to improve the capabilities of the phone’s camera started a few years ago. As a result, today companies offer a wide range of multi-camera smartphones. Basically, manufacturers increase the number of specialized modules and their quality, including pixel and matrix size, its resolution, etc. For example, Sony already announced a smartphone with an unprecedented 8 cameras.
Tumblr media
Such models got the name of cameraphones. But today, even mid-budget models often have several cameras with fairly high specs. In fact, almost any flagship of recent years can be classified as a cameraphone. Nevertheless, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 really claims to this status, using the unparalleled 108-megapixel ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor developed jointly with Samsung.
Tumblr media
All modules of this world's first 108MP penta camera also corresponds to the highest level.
Tumblr media
Huge resolution is provided by a 1/1.33-inch matrix with a cell size of 0.8 microns. The camera has f/1.69 aperture, optical stabilization, phase and laser autofocus, and supports Tetracell technology. As known, this innovative technology optimizes the number of generated pixels. In particular, it uses the re-mosaic algorithm when shooting in high ambient light conditions or combines four adjacent pixels - at low, reducing noise, increasing photosensitivity, and expanding the dynamic range.
Tumblr media
Sony uses a similar technology called Quad Bayer.
Key Features
But by default, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 uses 6016 x 4512 resolution, instead of the maximum 12032 x 9024. Such an algorithm increases the amount of information, reduces the processor load, and saves memory. For comparison, a 108-megapixel photo in good ambient light requires about 18-25 MB and takes a long time to process the photo. In fact, the 108-megapixel module supports three shooting modes, including standard (6016 x 4512), night (6016 x 4512) and maximum (12032 x 9024). In principle, the automatic mode provides a fairly high quality night shooting.
Tumblr media
But the night mode significantly improves it by gluing several shots with different parameters, increasing detail and optimizing exposure.
Tumblr media
In addition to the magnificent camera, the rest of the specs also correspond to a very high level.
Tumblr media
A bright 6.47-inch AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution (398 ppi) provides DCI -3 color gamut coverage with 400,000 contrast. The model uses a single-chip 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G (SD730G) mid-range with 2х ARM Cortex-A76 (Kryo 470 Gold - 2.2 GHz) and 6х ARM Cortex-A55 (Kryo 470 Silver - 1.8 GHz) with built-in Qualcomm Adreno 618. The Mi Note 10 platform also contains wireless Bluetooth 5.0 (A2DP, LE, aptX HD) and NFC modules, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, and an infrared port. The excellent 5260 mAh battery provides about two days of battery life. Finally, the phone has an optical fingerprint scanner, Gorilla Glass 5, and supports fast charging. The lack of support for memory cards and slow autofocus are cons of the model. In general, today, Mi Note 10 claims to be the leader among cameraphones.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and 10 Pro 5G
Xiaomi Mi 10 also claims to be a sensation in 2020. Firstly, the company took into account the criticisms in the address of the previous Xiaomi Mi 9 and significantly improved the design of new flagship. Frameless screen-waterfall looks very stylish.
Tumblr media
Secondly, Xiaomi Mi 10 really claims to become the fastest smartphone through the use of the latest Micron LPDDR5 (mDDR or Low Power DDR) memory modules.
Tumblr media
But Samsung also promises to launch mass production of 12Gbps LPDDR5 modules in 2020. As known, in 2018 Samsung first introduced 8GB LPDDR5 using a 10-nanometer process technology. Improving energy efficiency has reduced energy consumption by 30% compared to previous LPDDR4X. In addition, an increase in memory banks from 8 to 16 increased its speed. On February 19, 2019, the Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council officially approved the new Low Power Double Date Rate 5 (LPDDR5) memory standard. In accordance with its specs, LPDDR5 will operate at a speed of 6400 Mbit/s, which is twice higher compared to first generation LPDDR4 (3200 Mbit/s). As known, the new standard uses two new Data-Copy and Write-X operations for data writing optimization. According to Micron Technology, Micron LPDDR5 modules will provide a 50% increase in speed and a 20% reduction in power consumption compared to LPDDR4x. The range of modules includes 6, 8 and 12 GB. According to preliminary data, Mi 10 and 10 Pro will differ only in battery capacity.
Key Features
Other specs also correspond to a very high level. MIUI 11 runs on Android 10.0 (Q). The smartphone has a 6.37-inch AMOLED screen with 2340 x 1080 resolution (403 ppi). In addition, the screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and supports DCI-P3, HDR10, and 120 Hz. The Mi 10 Pro 5G uses an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7 nm +), including 1x2.84 GHz Kryo 585 + 3x2.42 GHz Kryo 585 + 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 585), with an Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone uses: - 108 MP, f/1.8, (wide), PDAF, Laser AF, OIS; - 12 MP, f/2.2, 54mm (telephoto), 1/3.6", 1.0µm, PDAF, Laser AF, 2x optical zoom; - 16 MP, f/2.2, 13mm (ultrawide), 1/3.0", 1.0µm, PDAF, Laser AF; - 5 MP, depth sensor.
Tumblr media
Mi 10 supports NFC, but unfortunately does not have a Headphone Jack. Its preliminary price may be slightly above $ 600. In general, the 108-megapixel sensor, LPDDR5, and the relatively affordable price are excellent prerequisites for its marketing perspective.
Conclusion
Once again, Xiaomi met the expectations of its fans by introducing two great innovative models. The 108-megapixel sensor and LPDDR5 memory provide them with good prospects in the competition. Of course, in February Samsung will unveil its Galaxy S20 5G with even more impressive specs.
Tumblr media
But they are unlikely to compete due to price differences. According to preliminary data, its cost will vary around € 1,000. This video offers a preliminary comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Read the full article

Mi 10 Release Date Rumoured for February 11; Mi 10 Pro 5G Live Images Leaked
Tumblr media
Mi 10 launch date is now being suggested for February 11. An official-looking teaser image has surfaced online that suggests the release date of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship. The image also hints that the Mi 10 would have a design similar to that of the Mi Mix Alpha, the concept phone that was unveiled last year. Separately, some live images suggesting the design of the Mi 10 Pro 5G have been released by a Chinese tipster. The images show a hole-punch display as well as a quad rear camera setup.
The purported teaser image of the Mi 10 has been circulated on Weibo. The image suggests that the phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC would debut as early as February 11. This corroborates an earlier rumour that claimed the early February launch of the Mi 10 series.
Alongside suggesting the launch date, the teaser image hints at the design of the Mi 10. The image shows the back of the phone that appears to have a vertical strip featuring the quad rear camera setup — looking similar to the rear panel of the Mi Mix Alpha. However, unlike the Mi Mix Alpha that has a wrap-around display, the Mi 10 from the leaked image appears to have regular back panel and a curved display at the front.
In addition to the purported teaser image, some live images of the Mi 10 Pro 5G have surfaced on Weibo. The live images suggest a hole-punch display on the new Mi-series flagship. The smartphone is also appears to carry model number M2001J1C, which we first saw on China’s 3C in late November with 66W charger.

The bottom of the Mi 10 Pro 5G leaked in the live images shows a loudspeaker grille, USB Type-C port, SIM card compartment, and a microphone. At the side, the phone has an additional loudspeaker grille and two microphones that would be provided for noise cancellation.
Further, the tipster leaking the live images of the Xiaomi shows an adapter with 65W charging support. The one of the images also have a watermark that reads, “108MP QUAD CAMERA.” It could be a hint at the 108-megapixel primary camera on the Mi 10 Pro.
A retail box that seems to be of the Mi 10 Pro 5G has also been leaked. The box highlights Hi-Res audio support on the new Xiaomi phone. Moreover, the tipster claims that the Mi 10 Pro 5G will go on sale in China on Valentine’s Day (February 14).
Considering the fresh rumours, we expect that Xiaomi would soon officially reveal the launch date of the Mi 10 series that it confirmed last month.
