Nostalgia

Ok, I'm gonna go back to being a child for a minute here. Anyone remember Xevos?

They were one of those buildable action figure toys from the early 2000's and they had a double gimmick going on. You could customize them heavily with a sheet of stickers that came with each one, and as you see in the picture, there were spare parts so you could swap out the model as you felt fit. No big deal right? Well, that odd hex-roller in the middle there was used for a battle system, and it required certain parts to be on the model. it's ends would open up and you could pull out different blocks or adjust them as you saw fit. This was then combined with the fact the parts were interchangeable with other sets and you could build an unique beast with just as unique battle mechanics. I had like two of these, the one above, and a fire elemental one, and let me tell you, I thought they were awesome enough to keep them for a few years despite not having anyone else be into them. I get that it's me, and building your own beast with matching mechanics is kinda my thing, but every now and then I forget just how long this has been my thing.
