Thinking for design
Hanul Pechuls

For you to come up with an idea first you must need a problem to solve or a goal to meet. What are you trying to accomplish? Is there a better way to show this? How can I get my message across in this way? These are all questions that can get you thinking about ideas for design. Whether it be for visual or something else there always needs to be a starting place. You should really do research on how you want your idea to come across as. Once you have an idea how are you going to implement and execute that idea. Finally, how does the idea/concept read with other people?
Research is key when thinking of ideas for design. The more information you take in the more ways you are able to think of designing elements in different ways. Look for design magazines or online treads or picture galleries. One thing to keep in mind is that you are only looking for reference material and not get too attached to one thing you saw. Try looking around in your everyday life by just taking pictures or notes that you say around your daily life.
Once you have an idea you now need to put that idea into action. You have to implement your idea so that when others see it, they also get what you are trying to communicate. This process is crucial to having a successful design if you cannot execute this process the viewers that are trying to understand your design will not process it correctly and your message or idea that you were trying to communicate could be lost or skewed. If you end up getting stuck try to look back on your reference material and try to understand why and how it works.
Finally, when you have your idea cemented into a design try to get other peoples feedback to see why or why not something is working. Tey to be objective when taking in critique because they are only trying to help because if you are too close to your design you may think that there is nothing wrong and it is resolved when in reality your design could be unresolved. Keep going back and correcting and changing your design until the people you show it to understand the concept and the idea that you were trying to get across works and the audience is able to understand what is going on. By this step, your work may be resolved but there are always ways that you can improve
By following this process you should be able to get an idea of what you want to do and how you should do it. This process may not work for all but it is how I generally do thinking for design work and getting ideas for other projects. I use all my available resources around me which also involves the people/colleagues that I design with.

Finding a Pool Contractor You Can Trust
In the current rapidly failing economy many individuals are drawing from luxury things like swimming pools and other entertainments. The ones that do decide to construct a swimming pool need to know that they are getting as much value as possible for their dollar-dollars are infinitely more precious when you don't have as many of them. That's why it's vitally important that you find a pool contractor you can trust to help you build your pool.
How do you find a pool contractor you can trust? The first step is to take the time to look around and find one with a good, strong reputation. Nothing speaks as highly for or against a pool contractor than the homeowners they've already served.
Tumblr media
Chances are good that if you have a neighbor who has an inground swimming pool, they can tell you who built it and how well their needs were met-as well as brief rundown on every other pool contractor on the market just for good measure.
These kinds of opinions are priceless because they are completely honest. They have nothing to gain from talking up a terrible pool contractor, and they don't even try. Keep in mind that you can't make all of the people happy all of the time.
It doesn't matter how good your pool builder is, sooner or later you're going to find someone who was unhappy with their work. If a pool contractor consistently has customers complaining about them, on the other hand, there's something rotten in Denmark. Give them a wide berth.
How do the prices of your pool contractor compare with others in the neighborhood? Are they more expensive? Less? if they are more expensive, why? Is there a service they offer that isn't available from their competitors that justify the expense? If they're less expensive, why? Is it because they are using inferior materials?
Tumblr media
The way a pool contractor's prices compare with those of his neighbors are a strong indicator of what type of contractor they really are, and it will give you a pretty clear picture of whether or not this pool contractor is a pool contractor you can trust.
Take the time to look around the store, examine media clippings and speak with the pool contractor personally. The best way to determine a pool contractor's ability to do any job is to first take a few moments to review the work they've already done. Ask them if they have done any of the pools in your neighborhood, and take an afternoon to go check them out.

Post Notes Url Glitch?
Whenever I open the notes of a post on my dash:
1. Hovering over the url of a stranger who reblogged previously it summons the blog popup of the person who reblogged it onto my dash (for sake of brevity, Xblog). Trying to open an individual reblog (from a stranger’s blog, here known as ‘Yblog’) via right clicking the url brings up Xblog instead. Hovering over avatars gets the ‘front page’ link to their blogs, not the post link.
2. Trying to reblog from the notes makes me reblog the version on my dash instead. Let’s say Xblog put it on my dash but I see an addition from Yblog I like. So I try to reblog Yblog’s version via the meatballs menu, but I get taken to a reblog window with Xblog’s version - a version without Yblog’s addition. As if I’ve been banned from reblogging posts from blogs I don’t follow.
Tumblr media
My cursor was where the purple arrow is, yet the reblogger’s popup is there.

I re-coded into HTML5 a couple of Members videos that I shot of gorgeous Kajira Bound and that had been previously uploaded in the annoying flash format which has since went the way of middle of the road Republicans. Also, here's a picture I took of Kajira pushing a large rock into the Pacific Ocean. You can see a lot more of her (a WHOLE lot more of her, hyuk-yuk) if you're over 18 at the X Blog here --> lesrevue.com/blog #girlsgirlsgirls #xmodels #xblog #reviewerx #lesrevue (at Spring Valley, Nevada)

I am persuaded that no one ever achieves anything worth-while in this world unless he has so great a respect for his work that he compels all other men to respect it. Unless, in a word, he commands his time.
