Lineage: Presumably Pipelix but is suspected to have Faelf ancestory.

Occupation: Artist, part-time student at Lovelake College

Quick Bio: Adopted into the Xandori household after a series of incidents incurred Fabin Xandori to keep a closer watch over the then-young and family-less Meinke, in hopes of preventing what could be a catastrophe for both the boy and those around him if not cared for properly.

Alongside his less-then-ideal Gift, Meinke harbors a unique affinity for the fine arts, particularly in drawing, and took up music, though he was unaware of his hidden talents until gifted shadowhide gloves which allowed him to make use of stationary supplies and grant a greater freedom. He also has remnants of a stutter and severe anxiety from incidents in his youth.

His Gift affects the palms of his hands, which eat through almost anything that touches them and turns the objects into a black dust-like powder. The larger the object, the longer it takes- for example, a pencil takes about ten seconds but a full armchair takes up to ten minutes depending on how it is disintegrated. This includes living objects, and the experience, according to Mateo Xandori, is akin to that of melting into a puddle of gelatin and rather unpleasant as one can sense the world around them but loses connection with the rest of reality. All objects disintegrated in this manner eventually reform themselves, in about ten times the time it took to disintegrate.

Overuse leads to black marks spreading across Meinke's hands and arms, burning into his own skin. He is not immune to his own abilities.

The shadowhide gloves prevent damage to his surroudnings, and are fingerless to allow more freedom.

Notes:

Is by no means a scholar, but became well-versed in the styles of famous artists after receiving a museum pass for his birthday.

His birthday was chosen by himself, and historically was a day devoted to honoring the Giftless, in the Eastern Tribe where Gifts were abundant in nature during the Early Period.

Has the signs of having had antlers, but these were forcefully removed when he was four. They're very sensitive spots.

His artworks were so impressive that the art gallery he spent most of his free time at even allowed him to present one of his own works on their walls. He took great pride in the event, though it took much persuation for him to go through with the whole thing.

Lineage: Eldwarf, descended from Western Tribe

Occupation: Soldier in the Bildernian Armed Forces

Quick Bio: A troubled soul in a pursuit to atone for past sins, or what he considers to be such. Hailing from a fairly strong lineage, he is the official heir to the Xandori line, a family that was almost entirely wiped out during the Sunburn and several Aftershocks. His parents chose to keep a lower profile after an incident involving a large variety of fruit and an agricultural panic nearly outed them as being connected to teh elusive Western Tribe. Mateo has elected to do teh same, and after graduating college, decided to try his luck in the armed forces.

During his school days, he was a bit of a bully, and isn't much better, though he's done much better at avoiding trouble and fistfighting anyone who looked at him wrong in recent times.

He's had a few relationships, but is currently single as his last girlfriend turned out to be a trickster and a dump.

Notes:

Grew up with the Marker twins, and may or may not have aided in their escape from the family, in the form of lending them some cash in return for a future favor.

Is a tough nut, but his brother has figured out how to exploit one of his weak spots. Mateo is often left with a rather empty wallet after Meinke visits, and Meinke plans to exploit this loophole as long as he can.

He originally planned to join the sea-farers, but quickly remembered he gets seasick easily after just five minutes on a sailboat. Nicote Marker had to drag them both back to shore.

In his defense, he wasn't trying to cause trouble.

Born: Month 3, Day 14, Y1527

Title(s): N/A (but he did get called a murderer once or twice!)

Lineage: Huelf, has loose- VERY LOOSE- ties to the Central Tribe

Occupation: Student in the Justice program at Lovelake College

Quick Bio: A young man from a troubled past. After a series of very unfortunate events including his mother dying, his father becoming rather enthusiastic about his one restraint freeing him to do as he saw fit, and a deadly accident, Lishian was on the run for over a year.

Eventually, he turned up on the doorstep of the Marker clan, and has since settled with the Marker Twins' good friends, the Xandoris. His childhood troubles have led him to peruse studies in justice, and he hopes to transfer to the University of Bildernia the first chance he gets.

Notes:

He's a bit of a blabbermouth and while he can usually talk his way out of trouble, his big mouth also lands him in just as much trouble. Once he ignored the fact his hair, which was much longer and wilder, was set on fire by schoolyard bullies to list exactly why setting one's hair on fire was a bad idea. Eventually someone got scared and put the fire out.

He's spent years looking for his younger sister, and recently made some discoveries he's convinced are the key to finding her.

His favorite desert is a type of sweet cake topped with the Terrarine equivalant to strawberries and peaches.
