Vatha goes by Va. She introduces herself to everyone with her full name and title (Vatha Reddane of the Sword Coast North, Paladin of Pholtus), then tells them to call her Va. She's big and trusting and dumb.

Xanara got called Xan a lot growing up, but most people she knows now call her Tabris.

Joan got called Joaney Baloney when she was little, and it stuck until she joined the army. Now she is liable to cold clock anyone who calls her that, or even thinks about it. Most people call her Commander, or Shepard.

Edith Susanna Walcott is called Edith Susanna. Or Sue, but only if you know her well. She runs a shop, so she's just 'miss' to most people.

Norrona Lavellan is Inquisitor of Herald to most people, but typically prefers at least one of her names to be used. Nicknames include Rona, Ronie, Miss/Lady Lavellen (she laughs at that one).

Few people know Abraham Hawke's first name. Those who do may call him Abe, but not in mixed company. Same with his Twin Sister Of AU, Abigail. She's Abi, the very few.
