MT5(MetaTrader5)のインジケータの入れ方は、以下の手順で追加します。

MT5は指定期間のバックテストと最適化のフォワードテストも一度に行える点においてMT4よりも優れています。

MT5のバックテストのやり方は以下の通りです。

MT5の画面下の「ストラテジーテスター（表示→ストラテジーテスター）」の概要からバックテストする内容を選択しましょう。

オプティマイズ（最適化）・・・「完全アルゴリズム」を選択することで、総当りテストによる精度の高いテストが行なえます。（※所要時間も増える）「遺伝的アルゴリズム」は総当りテストではない、有効性が高いと判断されたものをテストします。テスト時間を短縮して精度の高いテスト結果を導き出してくれます。（※所要時間早い）

オプティバイズ（最適化）を行う場合には「最大利益率・最大予想ペイオフ・最小ドローダウン」など、選択した内容に沿った最適化が行われます。
