Another idol survival show has started (Starlight boys). For some contestants it's their 3d or 4th one. I wonder why some are so persistant (while not having outstanding skills/looks). Is it because they tie their worth/not-a-loser to their dream? Yes, there is a chance to become relatively rich but not a big one. Psy's team who won on LOUD is not doing well at all after several (3?) years. JYP's team hasn't even debuted yet, heh. Ah yes, one of the contestants is from X1, the idol survival show group that was disbanded after one MV.
I guess it is the mentality. While they are chasing the dream, they don't look objectively at the reality that will face them after they win (like boring concepts, constant hustling, antis).
Doyoung is a clear case, he wanted to sing at all costs, and the idol path is the most reliable in SK nowadays.
For Hanbin (ZB1) it was also the right path, and he prepared very well, he knew what he was getting into and how to be chosen.
Maybe it's like with acting and actors from small theatres. Idol wannabees just want to be on stage before an audience, to be special in a way.
Ah, dreams, dreams...

So I just saw your rant on kpop reaction videos... honestly, a while back I used to be really into it until I released just how.... fake they all seem. There was this one in particular (I won't mention their youtube though) that I used to watch quite often, I actually discovered X1 through them, but after a while their reactions started giving me the ick. Like I get being excited as fuck about your favs dropping amazing beats and dance moves but to the point where you're *yeeting* (this is me showing my age now...) yourself out of your chair or yelling for what???? yeah, I don't get it... At this point I don't think there is a single reaction channel that is genuinely interested in kpop, it all feels like a cash grab, y'know?? So yeah, completely agree with your rant.
EXACTLY!!!! Its ALL cash grab now… (also im pretty sure i know who ur talking abt kdnkd we talked abt him in the other ask I answered lekfkdk and yeah its just fucking ridiculous. Even i -who i think have a pretty dramatic reaction to my fave mvs- dont react like that.
And its so ridiculous when they react to the mv and then are like ‘album reaction will be on patreon✌🏻😜’ like kskdkkd why would ppl pay to see the same repetitive positive reaction??? And its not always a copyright issue bc there are a few channels who do album reviews on yt.
#kpop content in general isnt as enjoyable anymore#like for example monsta x are technically in promo era but the content is so…. eh#groups used to go on these shows like weekly idol and knowing bros or#yt channels like when mom/dad/boss is alseep#or LieV on vlive… that was my favorite thing in the whole world#KBOB STAR!!!#promo eras used to be so fun especially when the interviewer/mc was fun#now monsta x sits in an empty practice room and reads tweets or something#:/ u kno what i mean? its just not the same#I remember waiting for these shows to air and then waitinf foe them to be subbed and sometimes it took WEEKS but we had something to look-#-forward to and the wait was usually worth it#i wanna go watch old weekly idol monsta x episodes😔#there was another show too… dingo something?#ask#joo-han

omg omg idk how many im allowed to ask for the ask game but, 1, 3, 6, 8 and 32?
1. create a 7 member girl or boy group with existing idols
jaehan (ox), byeonghee (just b), junseo (wei), haknyeon (tbz), yeo one (ptg), chihoon (former to1) and vahn (nine.i) . they would have an rnb-leaning, vocal-heavy sound with minimal beats 👍
3. create your dream collaboration between idols — which idols and what songs?
yongha and chuu re-bye by akmu cover stage when ??? 🤨🤨 i think their voices fit that song so well it would be so good please end of year shows hear me out..... another one would be a gg version of gbgb by txt covered by eunchae (le sserafim), bahiyyih (kep1er), choi yena, rei (ive) and j (stayc) :,)
6. create your dream album for your ult group… this includes the tracklist and actual design/concept of the album!
this mini album would be called <chapter: with you> and it would be released on wei’s debut anniversary!! in my dreams wei WILL get a title track written by colde !!!! it would be that laidback sound they have already established (ocean, starry night, know ya etc) with a catchy melody and pretty lyrics u know . its a song about being enchanted and in love with your s/o every single day even after a long time called <slippers> ! the cover art would be a teddy bear with a peach colored background.
tracklist: slippers (title) hyacinth cityscape (Prod. JANG DAE HYEON) (!!!!) (song about leaving the city with a loved one without telling anyone and being in your own lil world) love letter (the fansong) outro: with you (not a song but the members reading out their messages to rui)
the mv would have throwback clips from concerts, vlogs they had filmed throughout the years, choreography parts and shots of the members playing together like in the twilight mv but it would be in a park-esque location (im thinking veronica by onewe mv type thing) and (mostly solo) shots of the members in cute rooms like a cute kitchen/bedroom ....
8. create an idol group with some of your mutuals, including positions and a group name!
@ashisland main dancer (and designated bunny idol), @wonjinist main vocal, @jminwook and @berryjaellie both main rappers and lead vocalists nd everyone is a visual in the group, the choreos consist of formations where everyone can be seen so its well-balanced + moves where everyone relies on each other (like mfal 👍)
the mvs usually tell a story and are very cinematic, played by actors, which is the reason why the group goes viral ! each mv has a member version that also contains visual elements made/designed by the members so its v personal . aaand the group has a trendy easy-listen sound (can u tell ive come up w these details to hide the fact that i cant think of a name for the group)
32. if you could magically bring back a disbanded group but had to disband another, who would you bring back and who would you disband?
bring back x1 but make them like . promote casually bc im now attached to half the alumni groups 💃 and disband n*wj**ns or smth
send me a number
#the mutuals question was so hard i didnt know who to choose sorry if u didnt want to be mentioned !!!#anon#*askgames

ALRIGHT HERE ARE SOME SONG RECS
なんだよ by VAHN - one of my favorite kpop idol producers!! hes a member of NINE.i but the group is currently being boycotted because their members filed a lawsuit against their old company and the old company still has the rights to their music. but his solo stuff is independent so you can listen to it no problem!!
Without You by CIX - one of my favorite kpop songs of all time i adore this song and i adore cix ><
Fearless Girls by 硬糖少女303 - its a shame they didnt make many songs because theyre probably my favorite 创造营 group ;; this isnt on spotify tho lmao 😭 i also recommend their center 希林娜依高’s covers! her voice is gorgeous. she covered somebody you loved by lewis capaldi and 起风了 with 伯远 (who is another talented singer who i adore)
Angel by CHANMINA - i HAVE to recommend you watch this music video if you havent already because nishi is in it 😩 i love chanmina too (my favorite song from her is sunflower!)
Weekend by DRIPPIN - a new release, also very summery and fun!! i love this and the two b-sides it came with ^^ drippin is one of my favorite kpop bgs
LOVE2YOU by WEi - a more sentimental take on the summer song!! it just released today so ofc i have to plug it 🩷 WEi is one of my ult kpop boy groups my love for them is immense
ME= by JUST B - my other ult kpop boy group!! this isn’t their latest release but it is one of my favorites from them because it got me into them. MEDUSA is also a song from theirs thats very beloved and i think you’ll like them if you grew up with 5SOS songs OwO
OU M YHSNJA SB ONG YOURE HIDING IN MY WALLS FR !!!!! I KNOW LIKE HALF OF THESE SONGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the guitar is so much fun in nandayo omg.... the clapping!!!! the dramatic drum lead in the chorus...... god kind of unrelated but i LOVE turn it off by nine.i it's so good!!!! and i know vahn was involved in production (with sweetune!!!) so i hold his skills in high esteem
CIX!!!! i remember listening to this when it first dropped and wow the mv is so cool.... the chorus is so good........ yum.............. love cix
ok i pulled up yt for this one and WOW their vocals. mwah. delicious. and they are so PRETTY wtf... ok wait i'll listen after i get through this list!
omg the acoustic guitar in this is crazy cool. i swear ive heard this song before but i can't remember. either way is there anything this woman can't do she's singing and rapping LOL
DRIPPIN AJAHHAJAJJA oh my god i love their earlier releases like zero the one villain so much. woollim needs to let them out of the dungeon more often bc !!!!!! also they're infinite's younger brother group so i have a predisposition to like them. this song is very wholesome and the promos on insta for it were so cute
omg i love the synths in the chorus so much fun..... and you can't hide that way too quiet crunchy guitar from me it is so good. also AHHH wei omg i like fuze (!!!!!!) and spray a lot! i've been kind of following yohan after the x1 thing
OH MY GOD i LOVE ME=NANEUN. it was in the middle of the whole punk rock trend in kpop which was so delicious for me and i remember liking it so much at first listen.... the melody........ too good.............. also i think medusa is so familiar to me for some reason i blame it on the guitar thump 5sos thing

1. Librerías:
Python
import pandas as pd import numpy as np from statsmodels.stats.interactions import moderated_moderation_effects from scipy.stats import chi2_contingency from statsmodels.api import ols
2. Carga de datos:
Python
# Cargar datos de NESARC datos = pd.read_csv("NESARC_Alcohol_Use.csv") # Crear variables numéricas para el análisis datos["Nivel_Educativo_Num"] = datos["Nivel_Educativo"].map({"Bajo": 1, "Medio": 2, "Alto": 3}) datos["Edad_Num"] = datos["Edad"] datos["Consumo_Alcohol_Num"] = datos["Consumo_Alcohol"].map({"Nunca": 1, "Ocasionalmente": 2, "Moderadamente": 3, "Frecuentemente": 4})
3. Ejemplo 1: ANOVA con moderación:
Python
# Modelo ANOVA con interacción modelo = ols("Consumo_Alcohol_Num ~ Nivel_Educativo_Num * Edad_Num", data=datos).fit() # Imprimir resumen del modelo print(modelo.summary())
Python
Python
# Función para calcular el coeficiente de correlación con moderación def coeficiente_correlacion_moderado(y, x1, x2): # Calcular la media de x2 media_x2 = x2.mean() # Centrar x1 y x2 x1_centrado = x1 - x1.mean() x2_centrado = x2 - media_x2 # Calcular el coeficiente de correlación entre y y x1, controlando por x2 r = np.corrcoef(y, x1_centrado)[0, 1] - np.corrcoef(y, x2_centrado)[0, 1] * np.corrcoef(x1_centrado, x2_centrado)[0, 1] / np.sqrt(1 - np.corrcoef(x1_centrado, x2_centrado)[0, 1] ** 2) return r # Calcular el coeficiente de correlación moderado coeficiente_moderado = coeficiente_correlacion_moderado(datos["Consumo_Alcohol_Num"], datos["Nivel_Educativo_Num"], datos["Edad_Num"]) # Imprimir resultado print("Coeficiente de correlación moderado:", coeficiente_moderado)
Interpretación:
El coeficiente de correlación
