My friend sent me parts of the Iron Fan arc and Wukong calling both princesses a bitch? Is he the only pilgrim to swear like this what is this liberal use :S

Surprisingly there are a lot of curse words to be had for at least Wukong, Bajie, and Wujing. Bajie called the Scporin Demon a bitch at least three times in the arc for her stealing Saznang and poisoning Wukong.

And Wujing even calls the Queen of Women's Kingdom a hussy (at least in the Yu version, isn't not that abrasive in the CN cause there it is just 贼辈无知) But still also calls Scorpin queen a bitch in the Yu translation. A lot of Scorpion Demon hate to be had.

I only see that Wukong calls Jade Face a bitch but that might be that perhaps your friend is using a different translation for that.

Because Bajie calls Iron Fan a bitch but I don't see Wukong insulting her.

Wukong seems to be content calling Iron-Fan sister-in-law but if I missed it then that is on me. Funny enough the only time I could see when Wukong doesn't call her sister-in-law was when they arrested Demon Bull King and he called her Raksasi.

Again I might just be missing it cause I'm skimming the chapter but he def called Jade Face a Bitch.

have GOT to accept that some dynamics change over time and for the better without every step spelled out onscreen

AND that said parents and children never hated each other.

Red Son's main motivation has always been his parents and once they step back and realize that chasing after power isnt what they want, they also prioritize him/their family in general consistently ever since S2. Even back in S1, Red Son is given tons of chances and he and his parents BOTH take snipes at each other, most notably during 1x06. They wouldn't be bantering back and forth without a mutual level of comfort and familiarity

And then it's like... they're down to run a food truck with him? Including Princess Iron Fan in S5 as Red Son tells us? We see them at home in S3 and there isn't a HINT of any negative dynamic. Red Son just happened to have unexpected guests over. The entire Samadhi Fire anecdote onward is like yeah here's our son we care about him we didn't have a choice but to remove this power no one can control before it would presumably kill him/us like I'm.

Like what the hell are you guys talking about. The extent of bad blood between Red Son and his parents is villain bantering and the worst thing that ever happened was when DBK was possessed. That wasn't him. It preyed on Red Son's fears (and LBD threatened Iron Fan too) but it wasn't DBK. Red Son's insecurity comes from within and his own lack of success, not his parents. Hello.

Then,

The projection onto Nezha about Li Jing from fandom is unbearable

He and Nezha respect each other although they disagree and Li Jing has authority. Everyone, including Azure, the other kings, people who generally know who starts problems, had reason to blame Wukong for stealing the scroll. His actions seem harsh and weren't correct but there's reason for it and with the information he had, it made the most sense to him.

Nezha and his father have conflict about it and Li Jing is understandably short tempered/stressed since the world is ending, but Nezha isn't wrong to say his father isn't acting as the villain here, and when Nezha does take a direct stand against his father he isn't punished! Li Jing comments that Nezha let them get away but he isn't thrown into the padoga with them, he isn't lectured at length or anything, he isn't taken out of his duties or whatever else could have happened had Li Jing actually had malicious intent towards him

There's a difference between being brisk and being abusive

And then, in the end, it's Nezha who convinces his father to trust the others

That wouldn't be POSSIBLE if they didn't mutually respect each other. It wouldn't.

Nezha spends S5 feeling conflicted because he trusts both his father and the others and he feels his father is making mistakes but its hard for anyone to know for sure, not down and depressed because his father is some abusive monster.

If he WAS abusive, Nezha would have no reason to not just leave with them to go find the stones. As it is he takes his job seriously and values his bond with his father, as imperfect as it is

Li Jing doesn't have a moment where he directly says "I'm sorry I didn't believe you and also for every grievance you might have", but he shows it by trusting Nezha with the Faye of the whole world and turning his course of action around remarkably fast

Which is the goal, right? The goal is for people who were in the wrong about something to course correct and go no wait I'll trust you on this.

Characters don't have to have an I'm sorry speech with exactly what anyone thinks they have to apologize for for a relationship to be better. Tbh showing it rather than having empty words is stronger writing yet people throw fits about it when it isn't spelled out

Li Jing's later "I'm proud of you and left too much unsaid" (paraphrasing) moment isn't some like... manipulation tactic? The world is about to end and he's expressing genuine care? As is sveryone else in the room? Acknowledging he can be too business like and not express softer things? I don't get why people discard this but will bend over backwards to defend Wukong

except that people like Wukong but they want a parental figure to hold to rigid standards and have an excuse to hate in a black and white manner without having to examine what the dynamic is Actually like and therefore DBK and Li Jing get thrown under the bus despite canon having nuance and growth and ultimately at their worst, they weren't actually abusive to start.

Sorry this got long but I'm not sorry for addressing a long term and inaccurate fanon view that fundamentally misunderstands what the show is actually doing and gives me concern for people's ability to read dynamics in general

Sun Wukong/The Monkey King

Start off with the one I have a fic for lets go.

Is one of those partners who on the outside is a good person, but if he ever finds someone attractive, will be abusive.

He is manipulative to be blunt about it. He wants you to be submissive to him. He doesn’t build up a relationship, just expects it to happen.

He is very likely to kidnap you and stalk you.

He forces kisses and cuddles and if he believes you are planning to leave him he will “breed” you and force you to either carry his children or he will shape shift so he can carry them.

He is delusional. He actually thinks you love him back.

Macaque/Six Eared Macaque

One of the least likely to be a yandere from this group, and that is because he is less likely to act upon his feelings.

He doesn’t think he is worthy of love but that does not mean he can’t fall in love.

He is a stalker and a killer. He knows your daily routine and knows everything about you. You has learnt to read you so very carefully. 

If he sees you ever uncomfortable by a guy/girl, he will kill them. If he sees one of your “friends” is being a creep he will get rid of them. If he sees someone falling for you he will end them.

If he is ever off doing something, he has a shadow clone watching you.

He is a realist. He knows you may never love him, but he is controlling from afar and is very possessive. 

Spider Demons(Poly)

This includes Spider Queen, Huntsman, Strong Spider, Syntax and(depending on canon) Spindrax. 

This is gonna be a controversial take I am sure. If you read Omegaverse you might have some hold on a pack’s omega? Yeah, this. 

They are not delusional. They don’t just see you and fall in love like Macaque either. You are a member of the group and they all start to fall in love with you.

It’s an unspoken agreement they all share you and kill anyone who might “save” you or has also fallen in love with you.

There is always one of them with you. You are never alone. They adore you.

Unlike the monkeys, you are more likely to return the feelings. That doesn’t mean they aren’t delusional. They are also possessive but know you boundaries and understand them. They will never force you to do anything.

Demon Bull King + Princess Iron Fan(Closed Poly)

Another controversial take. This one is bias because I want to see these two stay other so hear me out.

You were just meant to be some extra hands but because you were around the two they had started falling for you. They felt guilty about it and as healthy couples do they talked to each other about it. Upon revealing they both liked you they decided to ask if you would join.

Out of all the yanderes, they probably have the healthiest relationship. Maybe because they were already yanderes for each other. They are both intense and they know they come off a bit strong.

Bull Family Apologist showing, they respect your boundaries and are willing to be slow with you. However, they are possessive over you. If you show anyone(besides Red Son) any form of affection, enemy number 1.

They are unknowingly stalking you. They will stop if you call them out because they do think they are just checking up on you. Again they respect your boundaries and will stop actions.

The least yandere of everyone on this list, sure, but still do the stalking and controlling of you at times. safest option. 

Red Son

We back to kidnapper yanderes don’t worry. He is one of those guys who is okay being in the friend zone until you have someone you are talking to. He then realises he was inlove with you and panics into thinking what he can do.

Kidnapping. Head empty. He does regret this choice and you will be able to read it. He is gentle about everything but he like Wukong can get  manipulative. He can also guilt trip you.

He has more game than Wukong though and is able to “make” you fall in love with him in return. He is very affectation and does let you leave. He just has a tracker on you.

Most people won’t see the signs or think at best its a DDLG situation, but some can see how controlling he is of you at times. 

Very possessive. Will most of the time death galre people to leave you alone but if they try to “help” you, rescue you, death. For the ones who try flirting with you, torture. Will make it long and painful to. One time, after torturing someone till death, he came home and upon seeing you, just became so aroused. 

He is delusional, a stalker, a kidnapper, manipulative, will tutor people for you, but he does love you. Will actually beat himself up if he did ever hurt you. 

MK

He is in the same boat as Macaque on this one. He believe he can’t be loved by someone as perfect as you. Unlike Macaque though is a bit like Red Son and will try to be in your life and is willing to be friend zoned.

He is hurt about the friend zone but is very accepting of it. Again he wants to be in your life but believe he isn’t worthy of being your boyfriend. 

He does stalk you. Never kills, never kidnaps, just stalks. He does sleep in your room when your not there and when he has the free time to, but does stalk.

If you do get a partner, and he will very warey of the, and so deep background checks on them and will stalk them too. If they ever break your heart, they will “go missing”. He scared them out of the country. 

The only way to be in a relationship is if you express your feelings first. He would be over the moon. Would move with you as soon as you let him. His stalking would lessen because he can be around you all the time now, but at the same time he would be very possessive. Wouldn’t want you to leave your side. 

He is more likely to reform from Yandere tendencies than anyone on this list. Just a stalker.

Mei Dragon

Ah, female Yanderes. Mei is the sneakiest out of all the Yanderes here. She puts in the effort to have a relationship with you, and will make sure the other people who are interested in you know she is serious. 

She won’t kill or torture before dating, because she is putting too much effort to stalk you, learn everything about you. However while dating you it will become a thing. That guy who made comment’s about your legs, that girl who insulted your hair, that guy who was just a little rude because his back hurt. 

The most innocent looking Yandere but the most lethal. Hell she killed a man for looking at you funny. 

She has access to your social media, who you have been talking to, your phone, laptop. You don’t even know it. She also has a tracker on you and every gift she has given you has a hidden camera on it.

She does not look like a Yandere and there are no signs she is one. She acts like a normal person. The only time the masks slips is if you fall out of love with her. Her crazyness will start to show as she tries to hold onto you. You will notice your friends are blocked and whenever you make plans with friends to level her your messages get unsent or don’t go through. If over the phone you will suddenly loose connection. 

She is the only yandere on this list who will kill you if you leave her. 

Traffic Light Trio(Closed Poly)

This one is requested by some friends so this one will be bassed. This one has Red Son, MK and Mei. It would start off with MK and Mei, they then invite Red Son in after Revenge of the Spider Queen. 

Mei was a yandere out right and MK had to ask her to consider inviting Red Son in. It took some dates but she accepted him in. Now, MK is the least Yandere of these 2 so it is unhealthy. He meets you, falls for you, Mei and Red Son see and get angry and go off to kill you but upon stalking you see how cute you are.

The three start stalking to you as a cute date thing and they fall head over heels. MK is really shy to ask so Mei has to start the slow burn courting. Red Son suggests kidnapping but Mei follows that up with “No honey, it wouldn’t be a real romance then.”

They get very protective as your “friends”. They say its because out of 4 of them, you have no powers(which is true), but you do feel left out of time because they are together. You are 4th wheeling a poly couple. 

A bit of me in this here. You would start getting paranoid they don’t actually like you and you start either avoiding them, staying home or going out with different friends. Mei is the only one with skill so she goes to you in person and asks whats wrong with MK as back up. Upon you explaining MK is the one who blurts out they have been inviting you places because they want you to join their couple.

Mei fears this will make you avoid them more, but you accept the invite. It takes a while but you are soon a soild part of the poly group. They all take different roles of Yandere as you are the weakest. MK is the  manipulative one who will slowly get you to cut off all your friends and family. Mei is the stalker and Red Son is the killer. You are unaware of everything.
