Circular saw getting stuck

I recently bought a compact circular saw for a few projects I’ll be doing soon. Right now I’m trying to cut a few pieces of laminate flooring.

The saw will cut for a few seconds and then it seems to get stuck or jammed. I don’t see any issues though. The tool is working, it’ll spin correctly when not touching the floor piece. Am I using the wrong blade?
