Ahh!!! The second arc final was so good!! I'm just (checks watch) a few days late lol! This is my the Wizard the Witch and the Wild one OC!
Mavka (she/they) is a crow trickster wild one and was once quite powerful but after losing a bet against the witch of wind, they lost their wings and became wayward. They now kind of work for the Witch by fairing people to and from the Witch’s stronghold in the Arctic.
I was only able to fit my drawing of them and Suvi but they probably wouldn't get along, mostly cuz Mavka likes to make fun of wizards (and witches)

The Wizard Spite
(The Wizard, The Witch, And The Wild One Original Character)
The Wizard Spite, an illusionist of The Citadel. When he chose his name cloak, it was not due to his feelings towards the world around him in the current, but more so to how he wanted to feel eventually. An illusionist of the Citadel has little use outside of psychological warfare. But at the core of an illusion is creativity. If you can't imagine what you want to create, then your illusions have no substance. A Minor Illusion is the most basic of cantrips, and really only used to clean up minor details that you don't need to bother with. But only an illusionists would include shading The Wizard Spite showed immense aptitude for learning and memorization. Being able to look at a page of incantations and see it clearly in his mind caused him to get noticed quickly. Passing the required tests, he began tracks to become a wizard. Though it was often noted that he would take notes on the Faunaloges more than the magic theory. His notebooks contained writings and minor sketches of people and objects. Their movements and idiosyncrasies, the clothes and light. Spite assumed he had to be a wizard. It's something people of Citadel aspired to, and what his parents recommended to him. If he is able to, then he should. He didn't know what else he wanted to be either. So becoming a Wizard felt right. When it came time for him to pick a specialization and track, he tried for Conjuration. He hoped that conjuring things would allow him to gain a better understanding of the mechanics of physiology. Though the magical theory around Conjuration ended up not being for him, and he was transferred over to an Illusionist track, one not sought out by many.
An illusionist has two goals when they are casting their spells. 1) To Deceive, Distract, and/or Entertain their target(s). 2) To Study, Analyze, and Observe their Target(s). An illusion's effectiveness increases with knowledge of the target.
Spite knew how to watch people, when he was with his friends he found his mind wandering to how their mouths moved as they spoke, or how eyes move. Those subtle differences in how people react to things is what Spite was best at. In the year he would get his Name Cloak, he initially was going to become The Wizard Scrutinize. Though he then found out exactly what Illusionist do in and outside the Citadel. Fear is a powerful tool, and is held in the Empire's hand. Not often are they called upon to do so, but sometimes a Wizard that has stepped to far out of line needs to have zipped lips. Enchanters and their abilities to Modify memories can only last so long. But the image of their world burning around them lasts forever. He accidentally found this information out, though he wasn't as shaken as he might've thought he would be. After all, this is what he has been trained to do so far, and more yet to come. He knew this was right, wizards are defined by their secrets. If the Citadel let all Wizards and Soldiers speak so freely, then how quickly might everything crumble? When he stood their and chose Spite as his Name Cloak, the meaning was not directed at the world around him, but at the person he would become. Hatred directed towards his future self for what he will do for his Empire. The Wizard Spite lives alone, a man known for his bitterness more than anything else. Once a great artist and entertainer in his 20's, now a drained and bleak individual in his 50's.

Through the Door
As if to block the view of the others, one figure stepped forward. Slow yet purposeful, seeming to grow taller and broader with every step. Long fingers of bark and branch became claws of ice, sharp as razors, and a heart of frost in the creature's trunk hardened into shards so clear they could have been glass, framed by the bristling redwood needles that covered their form.
A crackle from the creature behind brought the first to a halt. The momentary stillness allowed Viewer to get a better look at what they thought had been a small ursine beast. Instead the hand that came to rest on the shoulder of the redwood, Viewer could have sworn it was a paw a moment before, was attached to a body of intertwined hawthorn and hemlock, housing a heart of glowing ember. The blooms eternally flowering, and then feeding the flame within. Their glowing form mirrored that of the first, which mirrored Viewer’s own.
The final two stayed back and still. Hovering, Viewer realized, a few inches from the ground. At a distance, one appeared to be held aloft by wings of bone draped with lichen and moss, which matched the dual rows of horns cresting their head and disappearing, presumably, down their back. Their body was composed of a mycorrhizal-like matrix so thick that it seemed to block out their heart entirely. The other’s form was a hoard of stone and completely hollow, smaller in stature than the others, with a tail of river rounded pebbles playing around its ankles. A whistling noise seemed to emanate from its direction, which Viewer would have missed entirely had the first two not responded as if it had spoken. How it remained aloft was a mystery, with no wings in sight and a body that should have weighed an immense amount but moved as if it weighed nothing at all.
Redwood rustled back and Ember popped once more, then fell silent. Saprophyte didn’t appear to say anything at all, a flash of a hand movement seemed to communicate their stance on the matter. What that matter was, Viewer could not say, although they hoped it involved not brandishing those frozen fingertips or floating boulders. As one, they all turned to look at Viewer again. A voice of loam and rest echoed in Viewer’s head.
“Turn and be gone, blessed with your life” it said, although not in words, but rather through the evoked feeling of a final exhale, and Viewer somehow knew this was the voice of the fourth.
But Viewer did not want to leave, although leave they should, and was frozen for a moment. But the smell of freshly turned earth and smoke filled their nostrils and they knew the choice was to turn and run or face whatever fate Redwood might have advocated for. So turn and run they did. And when they finally braved a look back, all that was left was a shaft of sunlight.

wwwo oc painting the sword of the citadel!
The Wizard Smile
paints propaganda murals and portraits by day and creates children's books by night
wrote and cast a spell that erased all visual representation of themselves in retaliation to pictures of themselves existing without consent
the public facing reason to the spell being cast is that they would rather the heroes of the empire they paint to be remembered rather than their own face

Introducing my WBN OC! This is Roving and her familiar Sol. Roving is a spirit who became The Witch of the Marketplace. She travels between city markets, selling potions, poultices, and crafts from other witches, and wool from her parents.
I was immensely inspired by @rebe-draws own Worlds Beyond Number OC, Scrap!
[Here's a little lore if ya feel like reading!]
Her parents found her as an infant spirit while they were grazing their flock high in the mountains. They raised her as their own, and she spent most of her childhood playing in the pastures with her sheep. Because her fur was as soft as wool ready to be spun, her parents named her Roving.
Roving learned witchcraft from two witches. The first taught her how to control her growing magic, and it was at her cottage that Roving found Sol. He had fallen from his nest while his siblings fledged, and so they became Witch and Familiar. Roving made her glamor after him.
Her first witch already had an apprentice, so when Roving had learned all she could, she left the mountains and traveled to a city to find the second witch. There Roving learned new witchcraft and the ways of people beyond her little village. When people began to murmur of a strange coyote which could only be seen when lantern light caught the iridescence of its fur, Roving departed once more.
She traveled to many witches, and offered to sell their crafts beyond the reach of their sanctums. When the road carried her back to them, she brought them their earnings and crafting components they could not get from their own homes. In marketplaces Roving became a welcome sight, offering tokens woven with witches’ magic to people with no witch of their own.
People speak with excitement of The Witch of The Marketplace’s approach wherever she now goes.
Perhaps, by lantern light, those same people whisper of another omen of the marketplace. It roams the streets like a coyote, they say, but from the corner of an eye, its legs stretch a little too long and its face holds a little too still. Some say the omen heralds a bountiful day of trade; others say it is a warning for sharp-tongued vendors. Many have done a dirty trade and found their wares gone in the morning.
Roving returns sometimes to her two witches and to her parents, to exchange the treasures from the cities for treasures they have made. At the witch's cottage the swallows still nest every spring. And in the mountain pastures, no sheep has ever fallen prey to a predator, just as they hadn't when Roving walked among them many years ago.

A Coven of the Wicked Witch character that I had the idea for! She is an Autumn Eladrin Witch from the Worlds Beyond Number playtest, started as Coven of the Heart and is now Coven of the Wicked.
I don't have a name for her yet lmao I'm open to suggestions EDIT: her name is now Saffron! thank u @foooxobsessedperson!!
More about her under the cut!
I got the idea for her when a friend introduced me to the spells Swineskin and Wyrding, where it was an idea for a character who you would encounter surrounded by magical talking animals and fantastical beasts. However, to experienced witches, those animals and beasts are actually Swineskinned people and one particularly monstrous one is a Wyrd.
Her story is that she is an Eladrin with a very strong fey presence and lineage. However, she got lost from the Feywild and ended up in the Material Plane, where she ended up becoming the local witch of a small village. There, she helped the people, generally with health and magical healing. She also enjoyed baking goods for the people around her, and in general she was well beloved by the village. She became especially close with one girl.
However, the girl ended up selling her out for money to witch hunters. The witch managed to escape from the witch hunters, and returned to her village angry and vengeful. Because she is a Fae and much of the village had eaten her food, plus she knew many of their names, she turned the whole village against the girl and drove her out.
Because of this action though, the townspeople no longer trusted her, and visits to her cottage started to dwindle. The witch dearly missed the visits from the townspeople, and eventually ended up forcing them to visit her instead. The townspeople decided that this was too far, and sought out to burn her. They recruited adventurers to help, additionally, the girl who betrayed the witch. Enraged, the witch swineskinned many of the people, especially the ones who used to be closest to her, and killed the rest or sent them running.
Now, a group of adventurers may come across an innocent cottage and find a friendly witch surrounded by her animal companions. But don't stay for long, or you'll become one of them.
Wicked Witches have a virtue that is anathema to them, and I decided to choose loyalty, or more so trust, for this witch. I thought it was appropriate as she keeps her thumb on the animals by her side. The only animal who is truly loyal to her is her familiar, a cinereous vulture. Additionally, there is no part of her design that is symmetrical, because she does not play fair and will fight dirty.

Okay, if there's anything I really want to know about the lore of Umora right now -cause I'm a word nerd - why is the S so significant?
And, as well as that, what do individual letters mean? Morrow was just a guild mage, sure, but he was strong, although, his name beginning with something "less than" an S is really interesting.
Then you have Gallani, insanely powerful, a citadel wizard through and through, tossing banishment at a great spirit, commanding the respect of the azure battalion. And yet, no S name?
Then there's the ones that do have it. The council of Archmages is easy, they're the best of the best, and then you have Soft, Stone and Steel, who're well respected heroes amongst the citadel.
Sky and Silver's ages denote the 2 young mages to be almost prodigal compared to the rest. But what does it mean to put them a cut above someone like Gallani?
And now the most interesting one. Suvirin. She's not even been given her name cloak yet, but what's there? Our good buddy the S. Ooh boy is this cool, cause now we consider "Is it an honour thing? Is it high expectations on this child? Is it the arcanocracy's way of showing hey don't fuck with her cause her whole family could rocket your ass to the moon?" God it's amazing.
Might submit to the Q&A for the next fireside, cause hoo boy, I have a lot of questions about this? Why? Cause this is Dnd, who do you think you're talking to, someone who doesn't want that sweet sweet lore?

my worlds beyond number OC, is a human warlock who was born during the era of Umora where they were still in clay huts with the T-Rexes, and when the spirit was closer
so he was like a sheep herder who was like “damn lost a sheep, gotta go grab it” and saw a nasty spirit grab it and jump through a portal so he chased it
and got trapped somewhere deep deep in the spirit and had like a short fairy tale adventure where he had to be clever and wise in the court of a great spirit, called like the Queen of Time or something, to be returned home, and he was aided by one of her daughters
So the Queen sends him home but is like “hey I don’t like that you fraternized with my daughter, you’ll get back alright, but it’ll be wayyyyyyy later” and he gets teleported right onto a train track and almost gets hit
Like this guy was born BEFORE people used money and has to adjust to the woes of capitalism immediately
i just can’t get over the fact that trains exist that’s so cool
Help this show consumes me so

Contemplating a citadel wizard oc by the name of Signal. after listening to the "making the citadel" fireside and hearing everyone rattle off their name cloak ideas, i found myself thinking about the word signal and what it means and how signals can be used to highlight secret meanings and messages to others, and then i got to thinking about what this Wizard Signal would be like, and my first thought was— "Oh! It would be cool to see what a blind or deaf wizard would look like in the Citadel." Signal being hand signals, much like sign language, signals not only being visual but verbal like the tweeting of a bird, the smell of smoke to potentially alert someone who can't see.
I talk to a friend who also has a Citadel OC and we talk about what the best route would be, and I settle on Signal being blind and immediately try to work out the logistics of it like line of sight spells, and if the Citadel is the breeding/training ground for the war effort, how would them being blind help them or hurt them. We briefly discussed spellcasters not only being able to see differences in magical signatures but also being able to feel them and I thought that was a really cool boon, maybe Signal has learned how to sense out lingering magical signatures on other wizards in the Citadel because they lost their sight a long time ago and were able to start preparing themself seeing as the loss of their sight was a gradual thing. I also did some research on the metamagic adept feat since I initially thought it was solely for charisma-based classes like sorcerers and bards, but found that it is possible to take as a wizard should your DM allow it and work with you to rangle out the kinks. ALL THIS TO SAY i got really excited in thinking about in OC in the world of Umora, a Citadel wizard specifically because Aabria had so much love, care, and inherent curiosity about the world that she helped create so hey @quiddie you absolutely ate and if you have thoughts about my oc PLEASE share them because i'd love to know

wwwo oc/ wizard-sona : The Wizard Sorrow
Divination wizard, apprentice to the the Wizard Sight in the Seer's Office of Oracular visions and prophecies.
Tired phd candidate in prophecies of the third reformation of the empire + very irritated lecturer to the undergrad school of divination, they are frequently found smoking in the wizard parking lot after consultation hours.
(idk how my initial vision for a wizard who holds the sorrow of the fall of civilizations aeons in the future turned into a hassled postgrad student but here we are)
