everyone was having fun so I wanted to join in by drawing my wizard for @wizardraziw's Wizard Academy! sorry for all the sketchiness I didn't have much time <:'D

I got a crystal water wizard so... why not a mermaid! a bubble wand just made too much sense, and I have rainbow hair at the moment so hideous mspaint rainbow merwizard is here to give you eye strain. The wand is also a sort of opera-glasses device because I am so short sighted ;u;

Wanted to make my own scab wizard for @wizardraziw wizard academy! Tried to go for a neutral-good paladin-type vibe. Equally willing to either heal or harm depending on how you treat them, but will always protect those who can not protect themselves.

And since lots of people are doing it I thought “why not?” so here’s my design as a novice parchment wizard. I will definitely be taking notes of every lesson I’ll be teached (ok maybe not but I’ll remember them or re-read them if needed)

I’m already enraptured by the few things we learned ^^

Wanted to try my hand at a parchment wizard look, from @wizardraziw's academy. Yellow isn't usually my color but if i went with purple it ended up looking way too much like a crystal wizard with that eye ahaha

A parchment wizard has joined @wizardraziw 's wizard academy!

Meet Petra! She's a parchment wizard with a knack for making enchanted one-and-done magic spells on paper! For a good price she'll draw you a spell on paper to cast a (very basic) copy of rust/scab/crystal/soil magic! A Jill-of-all-trades but a master of none, she's infamously known as the "counterfeit wizard".

Her secret? Enchanted ink made from her own blood.

the one headcanon i have for every single fucking dnd magic school if the canon doesnt actively conflict it

wizard culture does not believe in shoes. there are special carpets that self clean to ensure noones socks are damaged and it is perfectly standard for young wizards to just walk around in comfy socks all day. there are tunnels between dorms and libraries to allow wizards to travel without risking weather or dirt and the majority of libraries have no-shoes policies or enchant shoes to prevent dirt transfer

it changes nothing about the plots. i just want wizard sock tunnels

Do you know what it’s like to be able to do magic? To be able to think of something and have what you’re trying to articulate flow from your fingertips? Some have said that it’s like pissing. I don’t like that. Pouring a creative impulse into the world is more, well magical, than that, it deserves honour, it deserves respect. I try to honour my magic as best I can. I pay my respects to the great arcane traditions but sometimes… I don’t know. I feel like I’m not nearly enough. 

The people around me are so cool, so magical, and already so defined, so confident in who they are and what is possible, and I’m just there. Me. Ready to learn I guess but I barely even know what I need to learn. Someone I knew once told me that the first step to learning was learning how to learn which I think is pretty stupid but it might be true, it’s hard to say. I mention it because I feel like everyone around me already knows how to learn and I’m at the back of the class still struggling with that first step. Like there was some special wizard email sent out on day one and I was the only one not on the mailing list. I don’t know what I’m doing and I’m lost and confused and I tried to ask that cool green wizard for a tour but I don’t think they heard me because I can be really quiet sometimes but I’ve been too nervous to ask anyone else since, let alone Mx. Newton, and I know I’m freaking out over nothing but it still. I need to breathe. I need to resettle my emotions. 

There is a glass of water. It is full of sand, all dancing in there like one thousand little sparkling faeries. And one by one they slow down and settle to the bottom of the glass. I wait, I breathe.

I asked for a quest. I received one. I’ll go do it. Hopefully that’ll get my mind off things before my next class. Ugh, it doesn’t feel very wizardly but I guess I’ll go get an orange from the grocery store.

Made a Soil Wizard for @wizardraziw ‘s academy. His name is Tea (He/They) and he can talk to the dead! They like writing down the dead's story's and having lovely tea parties with them.

I'm running short on free time at the moment but i could not resist drawing my IRL OC and main oc as wizards(very roughly with designs that don't make sense ;--;) after following @wizardraziw and taking the test

It’s a mystery!

I took wizardraziw’s wizard quiz and then found myself idly wondering what answers or character traits led to the making-things wizard result... I guess we’ll never know!
