Can i request something? But if you can't , its okay. Reid x reader, enemies to lover, undercover as married couple, Get gift from the other, play game, open the box, need to use whatever in the box. one of it's "vibrator underwear" then up to you...
Not So Faux Lovers
18+ ❤️🔥MDNI‼️
my take on this request, hope you love it! 🥰🫶🏻
"Oh honey! You shouldn't have!" You gush at your faux-husband Spencer.
"You have to open it!" Cara, the unsubs wife, beams.
They were deep undercover as a married couple. The team was trying to figure our who in this underground kinky sex group was trying to involve minors. You guys had been at this for weeks, this being the third party you attended.
You were just grateful Spencer got you guys out of the group orgy that took place the night before. You were dedicated to your job but not dedicated enough for groups sex to keep cover.
Besides, you and Spencer had started to get on each other's nerves. Both of you wound tight from stress and short tempered with one another. The two of you had been fighting before the party but played as if you were the happiest married couple.
This party in particular involved the exchange and mandatory use of sex related gifts. You hoped Spencer figured out something that didn't involve one of the party members shoving something inside of you.
He nudges you to open it.
You tear the box open, less than eagerly. It takes you a moment to deduce what exactly the odd looking item was. You tilt your head and pick what appears to be a wireless remote.
"That's for me," Spencer snatches it from you.
You hold up what you realize to be underwear with something in the crotch. It was a pink lace thong with a fucking vibrator in a small pocket in the front. You blush and swallow hard.
You had opted to get him flavored condoms in which you would feign sex on the other side of a closed door as you were forced to do once before. This was...
"Oh hell yeah!" Trent, one of the party members claps Spencer on the back.
"Go put them on," another girl smiles at you. "Let's see if you can control yourself when he uses it against you."
You fight the urge to glare at your 'husband'. He was eating this up, putting you in an awkward position and watching you get all flustered after such an argument earlier.
"Honey, would you assist me please," you hiss and tug Spencer out of his chair.
"What the hell is this?" You whisper shout at him when you both get into the bathroom.
"Thought it might be fun," he smiles mischievously.
"Are you serious?" You smack his arm. "How am I supposed to focus with you and that damned remote... You are such an asshole."
"Like I said, it might be fun," he exits the bathroom with a cocky wink.
You didn't know where this sudden shift in him came from. Perhaps the fact that the two of you have been playing these rolls for five weeks and were pent up after constantly being tossed into sexual scenarios and fighting all the time. He just changed the game.
You hesitantly pull on the thong and adjust the vibrator against your clit where it's meant to sit. This is insane. Yet you find yourself coiled tight with excitement at Spencer controlling your pleasure... that was new.
You pull up your skirt and exit the bathroom with your head held high. If he wants to play, let's play. You toss your original underwear at his chest and sit in his lap. You hear his breathing hitch in shock but he plays it off as natural.
"How do we know she's actually wearing them?" John, the unsub, purrs.
Spencer holds up the small oval shaped pink remote and presses the center button with nimble fingers. You jolt in his lap as the vibrator hums to life against your sensitive core. You grip the back up his neck and squeeze your legs together.
"Okay!" You bite out.
He switches it off with a sinister sort of chuckle.
You feel wetness gather between your folds as you adjust yourself on his lap and turn to the others who were exchanging gifts.
“I bet you’re wet already,” he turns it on the lowest setting and nips at your ear. “I’m sure it’s not because of me though. It’s just your body reacting,” he purrs condescendingly.
You elbow his abdomen and shift in his lap which prompts him to turn it off.
-
"This was great, thanks for coming!" Cara hugs you as you and Spencer exit her house.
Luckily he had only pressed the button one more time when John seemed to be inspecting you for signs of him using it. That was until you dropped into the passenger seat of his car.
He flicks the vibrator on seemingly a low setting and stares at you as he backs out of the driveway. You don't give him the satisfaction of responding but have to sit up straighter.
He moves his thumb up to the next, more intense setting and you can't hide your response. You squeeze your legs together and bite down on your lip.
"You are infuriating," you spit at him. You dig your nails into his forearm and tilt your head back. God it felt so good, you hadn't had an orgasm in so long.
"Spencer," you draw out the warning. A moan escapes you though.
"So pretty when you moan," he breathes. He focuses on the road, the streetlight flashing over him as he drives. You don't miss his fingers gripping the steering wheel. "So much better than when you argue with me," he smiles at himself.
You drag his free arm over to you and force him to press the vibrator harder against you.
He obliges and flattens his palm between your spread legs, the sight of his strong arm there is intoxicating. You try to remember why you guys were arguing but come up with nothing.
"Spencer," you whimper and find yourself grinding yourself against the vibrator and his hand. "Please," you cry out as your legs start to shake.
Your orgasm fires through every nerve in your body, leaving chills all over. You let out a series of whimpers as you cum, the orgasm leaving you feeling deflated against the seat when he turns off the vibrator.
You glance over at him where he is trying desperately to keep his eyes on the road. But you eye his cock straining against his pants.
"Pull into this parking garage," you point ahead.
He glances at you in confusion with furrowed eyebrows but obliges.
"Get out of the car," you order when he parks on the empty top floor. He hurries out of the black SUV and you don't hesitate to grab the collar of his shirt.
You crash your lips into his hungrily until he's leaning back against the driver's side door. His tongue greedily invades your mouth and he tastes better than anyone else you've ever kissed. His large hands explore your waist and run up your back as he moans into the kiss.
Your hand finds the back door handle and you swing it open, shoving him in with a giggle. Both of you scoot in until you're straddling him, you can feel his erection against you.
"Are you sure?" He asks as you rip his shirt open.
"Shut up, Spence," you pant and kiss him hard with your hands in his hair. He flips the vibrator on, causing you to jump. "Damn it, Spencer," you groan and take the remote from him. You turn it off and throw it in the trunk.
He smiles and lets out an amused huff when you shuffle out of the thong. You lean back and undo his pants, pulling his impressive cock free.
"Oh," you gasp.
"You can do it," he praises as he slips his fingers into your cunt. You soak his fingers instantly, earning a satisfied moan from him.
You grip his hair near the back of his neck and angle yourself above it. Your pussy clenches with need as you ease down.
"Fucking hell," he throws his head back. "You're so tight."
"You started this, you better fuck me properly before you cum," you growl in his ear.
"Still talking shit?" He challenges you and bucks his hips upward.
You cry out as his entire cock is shoved inside of you, forcing you to stretch to his girth.
"You..." you start but then he grips your ass and thrusts upward again. You claw at his shoulders.
"I what?" He glances at you, his mouth agape as he watches you take his cock with each thrust he gives you.
His hand curls around your throat and he picks up speed as you hover slightly over him so he can fuck you deep. He trails his hand up and grips your jaw while he shoves his pointer and middle finger into your mouth.
"This smart mouth..." he muses. "Sounds so pretty crying out for me."
He snaps his hips hard upward, his cock slamming into your cervix until you scream. While one hand grips your jaw, the other moves to your clit. He massages it harshly, quickly as he fucks you.
You suck on his fingers as tears stream down your face from raw pleasure. He felt unbelievable and you were getting close. You were going to soak him like this. You were a squirter when penetration and clitoral stimulation mixed. You worried he would be disgusted but as you wound tighter you couldn't stop him.
"Fuck," comes your muffled cry.
"Cum for me baby, show me how much you hate me," he teases.
His filthy mouth is the last straw. Your body goes taut and your head rolls back. He takes the opportunity to grip your throat as your walls tighten around his cock, drawing a moan from him. You explode around him, you feel the liquid pouring out of you and down onto him.
"Holy shit," he pants in awe.
"Ah!" You keep cumming as he thrusts into you enthusiastically. He smiles, satisfied as his cock starts to pulse.
His cum fills you deliciously as you roll your hips onto him, greedily taking everything he has. The flesh between the two of you is drenched, its filthy, its so fucking hot.
Your phone rings. Hotch, fuck. You glance at Spencer who is still inside of you and shush him.
"Hotch," you answer the phone. "No nothing of note tonight. He didn't mention the minors."
Spencer tenses his cock inside of you, causing you to bite your lip when you feel his cum dripping out of you.
"Yeah I can send you the photos from his attic, Spencer got some good ones," you start teasing him back by grinding your hips.
You clamp your hand over his mouth as you tease his oversensitive cock by tightening your pussy.
"Yes sir, got it," you tell Hotch and hang up.
"You're impossible," you slap his chest and lift yourself off of him.
"I've never seen that before," Spencer blushes. Actually blushes despite what just happened.
"Seen what?" You ask as you pull your skirt down.
"So much... um so much..." he stumbles over his words.
"You've never been with a squirter?" You ask.
"No," he laughs nervously.
"Cherish it, it's the last time," you smirk and hop out of the car. You watch him adjust himself and fix his clothes through the window.
"We'll see about that," he winks and gets back into the drivers seat. Ugh.

How Do F1 Cars Work?: Braking, Cooling, Sensors
I never know how to start these posts. Let's dive in.
Braking and Cooling
Brakes are an incredibly important part of any car, but most especially in F1. With the speed and power the cars have a sensitive, sturdy, and strong braking system must exist. In the case of modern cars, F1 uses an extremely efficient and durable carbon-carbon disc brake system. This allows the car to screech to a halt in a split-second, and allows drivers to use their speedy reaction times to the best of their ability. When the driver steps on the brake pedal, it compresses two master brake cylinders, one for the front wheels and one for the rear, which generate fluid pressure.
For the front tires, the fluid pressure is delivered directly to the front brake calipers (part that houses brake pads and pistons). Inside each caliper, six pistons clamp pads against the disc and it is this friction that slows the car down. For the rear tires it is a bit different.
At the rear, the car can brake by three separate sources: friction from the brakes, resistance from the spinning engine (engine braking) and electrical braking that results from harvesting energy from the MGU-K . Although the driver can adjust each of these on his steering wheel, when he presses the brake pedal, the three systems work together via the Brake By Wire (BBW) system.
When the driver presses the pedal, the fluid pressure generated in the rear braking circuit is picked up by an electronic pressure sensor. The signal from this sensor represents the overall rear braking demand from the driver and is passed to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) where it is turned into a series of commands to brake the rear of the car. The ECU distributes its efforts to the three systems according to the the set up of the car and this is altered by the way that the driver has adjusted the switch settings on the steering wheel. This is what teams mean when they say changing the setting on the car.
Going hand-in-hand with braking, cooling is another important part of the car, especially for brakes. Basically, there is a series of systems that cools the power unit, brakes, and electronics. If the car overheats, it can lead to damage and lack of performance. There are a few ways to cool. Radiators cool the engine and hybrid system. Intercooler cools the air that the turbocharger compresses before it enters the engine. Brake cooling ducts bring air to the brakes in order to stop them from overheating.
2. Electronics and Sensors
So i'm sure many of you have looked at the steering wheel and been baffled that this thing that looks like a Nintendo Switch steers that car. The F1 steering wheel is incredibly complex and has a variety of buttons, screens, and knobs. For example, on the steering wheel is an area for strat settings, where their plans for all eventualities are mapped out. There is also a rotary knob for MGU-K settings, where drivers can switch around when faced with possible failures. The menu allows drivers control over every setting in the car. Beyond that there is the pit lane speed button, gear change buttons, race start button, energy recovery button, and brake balance knob, among others. It really tells you how much drivers do in a race beyond racing.
Other than the steering wheel, there is also the telemetry, over 300 sensors which gathers race data and sends it back to engineers on the pit wall. This way, engineers can either remotely alter settings and strat, or advise the driver on what to do. F1 uses a customized mesh wireless network system based on WiMax 802.16 at each racetrack. The sensors record data, which is then temporarily stored in the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which controls functions like engine performance and power steering. That sensor data then travels wirelessly to a centralized location managed by F1. F1 then sends the data to the relevant team, of course very securely. Teams then use a system called Advanced Telemetry Linked Acquisition System (ATLAS) to view and analyze sensor data.
The final pretty important electronic devices on an F1 car is the many many cameras. The most recognizable camera is found in the "T" structure that sits atop of every F1 car. It gives viewers that top-down, forward facing view used often by broadcasters. this is also how viewers often distinguish between cars of the same team. One driver will have a yellow camera, the other has black. The two nose cameras provides a view of the front wing and low circuit. The 360 camera is on top of the chassis and provides a wide view of the race track, and everything else around the car. The driver facing camera is pointed directly at the driver and helps keep track of how they are doing, and in the event of the crash helps marshals and rescuers figure out the best way to help. The two rear cameras are settled on a rear facing structure, and allows the pit wall to see what is going on directly behind the driver and advise. Beyond these ones, drivers also have cameras inside their helmets, showing exactly what they see. Can't get away with much in an F1 car.
3. How They Work Together
So, we now know the basics of most parts of the car. But these parts all must work together before that car will go anywhere. How do they do it?
One of the more obvious relationships is between aerodynamics and power. The better the aerodynamics, the more usable the power is. They also work in tandem around different parts of the track. On corners the aerodynamics keep the car stable while the power peters off. On straights the power keeps the car boosted. Suspension and tires are also very connected. It is the suspension that keeps the tires on the ground. A good suspension will also mean that the tires are easier to manage, something any driver knows is highly important. Brakes and ERS are also connected because the brakes help recover ERS, pretty simply. Also the cooling system works with most of teh car, cooling engine, tires, and brakes. The biggest connection is probably between all the sensors on the car. They are connected to every single part, and even a small bit of damage can destroy them. The non-sensor components have to accommodate for the sensors and work perfectly with them in order for proper data to be sent back.
The ultimate goal of engineers is to create a car that works in harmony all together. The integration of the engine to the chassis is highly important. There have been cars that the parts were fantastic on their own, but the minute they were put together stopped working completely. Its why teams that produce their own engines have such a leg up over non-manufacturers. Its also why sometimes you will see a car that is running poorly until one small thing is changed, and then suddenly its brand new. Car harmony really is terribly important.
Alright, done! While I covered most of the important stuff, as always if there is any particular part of the car anyone wants me to dive deeper into, please let me know.
Cheers,
-B

Northernness.
In Surprised by Joy, C.S. Lewis called that instant among a few which he met while reading the opening lines to "Tegner’s Drapa"–
–immediately lifting him into huge regions of the northern sky, and desiring intensely something that couldn’t be described, “except that it is cold, spacious, severe, pale, and remote.”
Sasuke had it all figured out during his presentation: the longing for an unattainable, imaginary world; an unsatisfied desire more desirable than any other satisfaction. The “cold, spacious, severe, pale, and remote” in Konoha. He had the color schemes prepared, the mood boards where the rest could take inspiration—he had the full vision.
But, a thing about artistic vision is how it would often only truly show itself in the mind of one, akin to a prophet's commission destined to be shared with a skeptical crowd. Once the candle is lit—the vision spoken, its flame cast upon awaiting wicks—is either one of two outcomes: an empowered mob, or a frustrated artist.
Sasuke stood in the darkened room, the glow of his presentation casting long shadows between him and the rest of the club. The pause hung heavy in the air, their bleary irises reflecting the projected screen, dull and unmoved. He burned with a fierce, solitary flame, yet the rest couldn’t catch fire.
Unease settled at the basement of his gut, lounging there, and crossed its legs. His fingers, clutching the wireless clicker, felt cold and alien, as if they no longer belonged to him. He loosened his tie and signaled for the lights to be switched back on.
“Questions?” Sasuke reached for his water flask. Funny, he thought as he took a sip, how it gave an impression of offering himself to a hoard of wild beasts ready to pounce without due reverence whatsoever.
Click. Click. Click—their responses registered as a monotonous clicking noise in his mind; all clicks and no illumination. Barely a single one had lights flashing off in their imagination, their cranial apertures set to f/22 with shutter speeds at 1/1000, and their ISO sensitivity low.
He took a breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. Creation is a brutal endeavor: fail to hold the fort—the sense of preservation toward the vision—and he’ll be torn to pieces; fall short of winning the Kage Jin and it would be his fall to take alone.
"Fine," he exhaled. "I'll take you on. One. By. One."
In the months that would follow, he’d find himself worn thin, hunched over his desk, eyes bloodshot and fingers sore from endless editing as he pushed forward with the vision singularly, just to fill in the gaps, and somewhere down that road, his natural demise. But even then, all he could really think about was winning the Kage Jin.
Last weekend, my friends and I couldn't enjoy our usual club because the DJ changed, and the vibe was off. We went bar hopping all night, but none of the places felt right. Is that it?
“Somewhat.”
So-so. Kinda.
At first, Sasuke had more patience.
Who could blame Sasuke's club members for all their privilege? Northernness to Sasuke lies on the other side of the fence that is winning the Kage Jin whereas to them, photography is just a hobby and the club is for extracurricular credits. They didn’t have fathers who threatened to disown them or shatter their equipment should they choose to pursue photography professionally after high school.
“How’s everything so far?” Neji asked during brunch at the school’s dining hall. His uni exams weren't until November, so Sasuke understood that when he was invited to join Neji for meals, it was purely a club matter.
“The theme was decided last week,” Sasuke replied, forking a pea.
“Oh, really? What is it?”
“Northernness. C.S. Lewis…” As he spoke, he closely watched Neji’s subtle reactions.
Neji paused from slicing his steak, considering. “Interesting. Though spare me the details. The theme is only as strong as its execution.”
Sasuke nodded. “We’ve had a few meetings since then and I’ve already set up teams for various assignments.”
“Good,” commended Neji. “I was introduced to a gallery chain owner from Hoshigakure the other day. I think he’ll find you interesting, so I’ve set up a meeting this weekend.”
“What time?”
“Sunday afternoon. Just clear it out. It’s a party attended by other patrons of art. Get Sakura to join you.”
“I think she’ll be busy with the Student Council.”
“I’ll just call you then.”
When he had been at the end of his rope, it was Neji who offered an extension. Parties and meeting new people were his least favorite things to do on a weekend, but Neji taught him networking was important if he were to make his future decisions right.
2. Isn't it too vague? How are we gonna incorporate pictures from the archives if you're hellbent on following a theme?
Sasuke carefully laid with gloved hands a set of old pictures that he had taken out from the archives on the light table where a few selected members gathered around.
“I’m thinking of a sub-collection that draws inspiration from these events,” said Sasuke. “The history, the pioneering spirit, a deep-seated longing for the extraordinary, and the pursuit of awe and wonder transcending the mundane—we’re bringing these essences into the present.”
“But how are we supposed to do that without just copying old pictures?” asked Kiba, a sophomore from another class.
Sasuke’s eyes narrowed slightly. “We’re not copying. We’re reinterpreting. Look”—he tapped his finger on a photo—“What’s being built here?”
“The subway?”
“Ah, is that the Hashirama Bridge?!” Another member, Ino, pointed gleefully at a different photo.
The rest followed her excitement as they identified other notable structures in Metro Konoha during their earliest stages.
“Think about the vision and effort that went into these structures,” said Sasuke. “Find modern equivalents or create scenes that evoke the same sense of achievement and significance. Reign in that energy visually.”
Then Kiba raised his hand. “The city’s expanding the subway and construction is currently going on. That might be a good place to start. The only problem we’d have is if it’s gonna be okay. Some places might need permits or things like that.”
“Leave that to me,” replied Sasuke. “I’ll contact Neji whenever.”
Days later Neji invited him again to brunch.
“The assignment you gave Inuzuka and his team was interesting. When I told grandfather, he insisted he’d have more stories to tell about how things were back then.” Neji chuckled and wiped his mouth with a table napkin.
Sasuke couldn’t swallow the partridge, so he had to down it with water first. “About that… I’ve decided I won’t be using their shots.”
“I see,” said Neji. “It was that bad, huh?”
“Well… not really.”
“Just say it as is. No one’s gonna hear about it. And I doubt anyone would fault you even if they did. You’re aiming to win, aren't you?”
3. So… wintry vibes? How the heck does that work? Konoha's vibe is just not it.
There are plenty of ways to capture the cold and remote right out the warm, sunny corners of Metro Konoha: early mornings; late nights; foggy mists; the bay after rainy afternoons; excerpts of nostalgia that could be replicated in the studio, and the lights manipulated among a plethora of non-CGI tools they could use for effects.
Determined to prove his point to the rest of the cynical lot, he rode the train to school at 4:30 AM and scoured the campus for interesting shots. Looking up from the school grounds, the silhouette of birds flitting among the intricate details of the roofline, gave him the idea to venture up to the school rooftop for a closer look.
He passed through Omni Glow Hall, one of Sairiumu’s oldest buildings, up a flight of stairs, and entered a dim, musty corridor lined with aged wood and old leather book covers. The air ran thick with the stench of persistent grime that no amount of upkeep could completely remove. To get to the rooftop, he pushed through an ancient twin door, gripping slightly on the coarse brass handles with grotesques set on their swirled parts. Despite their age and infrequent use, the well-oiled hinges moved smoothly. A gust of wind greeted Sasuke's face, followed by the sound of flapping wings, a sound one too many. He nearly snapped a photo by what he saw, his breath caught and his forefinger twitching on the shutter button, overwhelmed by the impulse to capture the scene and yet withholding from that desire.
Hinata Hyuuga stood on the rooftop with a lost look in her eyes, her hand extended as mourning doves gathered to feed from it. They surrounded her, from her head to foot—a swirling flock—which, while to an onlooker might seem ominous, a whirlpool of unknown diseases, didn't trouble her—not even batting an eyelash.
When she noticed Sasuke standing there, her eyes widened slightly before she quickly lowered her gaze, a soft blush tinting her cheeks. Her fingers trembled just a bit as she tried to keep her hand steady for the doves.
“G-good morning…” she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper. As she made a small, nervous bow with her head, the doves fluttered briefly and then perched back not long after.
“Good morning,” he replied with measured calm. He wasn't about to be found out. Some guilt; partly something else.
“What are you doing here?”
“Just looking around." He slipped his hands into his pockets and let his gaze drift to a random spot in the skyline. "What about you?”
“Feeding the birds… as you can see.”
“Right… Do you mind if I take a picture?”
“O-of the birds?” The sun was barely out and he could hardly see the expression she was making.
“Of the birds.”
“Oh. Go ahead… They're too occupied to care.”
Sasuke clicked the camera. Adjusted the center. Clicked again. Adjusted. Clicked a third time. True to Hinata’s words, the birds remained unbothered, even with the flash.
While scanning the shots he took, he said out of nowhere: “Thanks to the Norse myth book you left the other day, I’ve figured out what the club’s going to do for this year’s Inuwashi.”
“Inuwashi?”
“The club’s yearly publication. It's a candidate for the Kage-Jin—”
Sasuke fell silent for a moment, leaving Hinata waiting for him to continue. He wondered what she thought about the theme, about Northernness. If she would intuitively comprehend what he wanted; if she'd asked the right questions; if her pictures would enthrall him unexpectedly like her qualifying exhibition entry...
When he didn’t speak, Hinata asked, “Do you like it here? Are you having a pleasant time?"
Sasuke snapped out of his trance and took a few more shots, adjusting the camera settings with a practiced hand. “About the club or Sairiumu in general? I haven’t thought about it. Don’t ask weird questions.” As he spoke, he tilted the camera slightly, capturing a subtle glimpse of the top of Hinata’s head in the shot.
“Stay away from mistletoes,” she said.
Sasuke raised a brow at her odd statement. “What about them?”
“They’re bad for you.”
Sasuke smirked. No wonder Neji said all those things about her—he finally understood: she's a Norse myth otaku. This explains the disturbing things she had said and done to him so far. A tinge of relief swept over him now knowing that she's just this kind of crazy, who just thought that maybe, maybe he's—
“Like Baldur?" He could almost laugh, but he couldn't risk looking uncool. "Getting too much into Norse myth is bad for you,” he said, smiling crookedly as he turned to leave.
Hardly anything about him is like Baldur.
4. C.S. Lewis? Wasn’t he prehistoric? Wouldn’t that be too outdated and out of touch?
She’s just… She’s just so,
Has anyone in the studio met someone like her before?
Who in their right mind would think that? Norse myth? And they say C.S. Lewis is prehistoric.
While it couldn’t be denied that he has a beautiful face and a goodly overall appearance—which brought him trouble that could last a lifetime—but, had he been anything like Baldur—the Norse god of light and radiance, joy and purity, peace and forgiveness—he would've just dismissed the uninspiring submissions of his club members with a smile. He'd put in a kind word and tell them to try again.
But Sasuke? He huffed and bristled like a mad horse and his dissatisfaction towards his members only grew.
“I apologize for that. You caught me at a bad time.” Sasuke rubbed his forehead, feeling the tension building up. One of the very few freshmen he had allowed to work on Inuwashi was just leaving his office in tears when Neji walked in.
Neji watched the freshman leave. “What happened?” He locked the door behind him.
Sasuke sighed, leaning back in his chair. “I tried to be constructive, but...”
“But it had been another subpar submission.” Neji nodded understandingly. “Don’t take it to heart. I trust I placed the perfect man for the job. You’ll make it happen for this club. They don’t have to understand now, but they will when the time comes and you’ve got a Kage Jin trophy displayed here…”
When Neji looked around his office, his gaze stopped at the framed picture of a quarter of a head and mourning doves above it hanging on the wall.
“Yours?” With Neji, it was almost a statement and he had to ask just in case.
Sasuke smirked and nodded, the event from earlier immediately forgotten.
“Fascinating.” Neji approached the picture to scrutinize it further. “I like the mysterious dark, inky shades, and gray contrasts, the almost smoky buildup of flapping mourning doves caught in a motion blur...”
The picture never failed to draw compliments from visitors. Sasuke had developed a technique to achieve the quality of a traditional darkroom print out of a digital photo. So far, no one had asked about the head—whose head it was. Unconsciously, Sasuke made a habit of staring at her in a way that he couldn't in the classroom over fear of suspicion. The what-ifs and could-have-been left him with a continuous pang of regret and he feared the day that she might break into his office, perhaps through the glass window, open his chest, and discover the things he'd speak to no one: he couldn’t push away the thought that Hinata would have had more interest in Northernness than the rest of his club members put together.
“Hey, do you think—” Sasuke paused.
Would Neji?
No, Neji would be strongly against it.
“What?”
“Nothing,” replied Sasuke.
“I never thought you’d find mourning doves interesting.”
“Me either.”
5. Are you saying we only start taking pictures in the winter? That's stupid and I'd totally hate it if we're shooting outdoors.
To set a wintry precedent, an atmosphere that would seal in the illusion for everything else that would follow, Sasuke proposed scheduling an outdoor shoot for the first few pages of Inuwashi. None of Konoha's mountains, not even in the winter, would compare to the snowy mountain ranges of the place he had in mind.
"Yukigakure," he revealed.
The idea was met with enthusiasm from the club members. They envisioned a cheerful trip to luxurious ski resorts and exclusive hot springs. Sasuke looked forward to the peril, to northern lights and white nights—something Hinata would've had better insights into, having come from there. But none of it would happen the way anyone in the Photography Club, including Sasuke, pictured it.
6. Shouldn't we take a vote? I'm not saying 'Northernness' or whatever you just presented is a bad idea, but others might have suggestions that the majority would like to explore.
Morio, the vice president, posed a question during Sasuke’s theme presentation that echoed until the Photography Club’s falling out. But Sasuke didn’t have the foresight then. All he recognized was that Morio had the wrong notion about why Neji chose him, why Northernness would make Inuwashi stand out, why he was convinced he knew best, and thus answered Morio in this manner:
“Do you know why you’re not the club president? It’s because you don’t have what it takes to be where I am.”
Truth be told, Morio had always rubbed Sasuke the wrong way. As a member of the Student Council alongside Sakura and others, and with his family’s ownership of an S&Lee 500 mining corporation, Morio had the background and skills that made him a strong diplomat. This greatly contrasted with Sasuke’s solitary approach. He was a competent photographer and had a knack for connecting with others, making him a strong candidate for club president if it had been up to the members’ vote. In contrast, Sasuke preferred to stay cooped up in his office, often discarding other people's photos that he didn’t like in the bin.
Morio had all the right cards. The least Sasuke could have done was temper his response. No egos would have been bruised, and he might have avoided much trouble. Because, months later, when the time came for the review of the first draft of Inuwashi, Morio voiced out an honest observation:
“Most of these pictures are yours, Sasuke.”
“It’s the material that matters," Sasuke retorted. "You can’t argue with the quality. This is a winning piece in progress.”
Morio laughed dismissively. “You’re not running a club. This is a one-man show.”
Sasuke’s temper flared, and he slammed his fist on the table. "Don’t like it? Then leave. This is getting old."
He should've noticed it then—the odd spill of malice in the studio; how nobody was on his side.
“Guess we just don’t have that special something like you do,” Morio said with a suspiciously casual tone. As he rose from his seat to leave, more movement rippled around the table, and Sasuke watched in shock as his core members began to slip away, one by one.
He stewed over the betrayal all evening. If his former team members chose not to return, perhaps he never needed them. The new recruits, though still green and needing more training, could take over the simpler tasks. Besides, there was no rule in the Kage Jin’s guidelines explicitly stipulating that contributions had to come from multiple people. If it came down to it, Sasuke would manage on his own.
The following day, Sasuke arrived at the studio to find all his files and work in progress wiped out from his office computer, his cloud access hacked, and all saved progress vanished. Fortunately, Sasuke had learned to take basic precautions early on. He backed up his work and club files on an external drive he carried to school, and on a second drive he updated regularly from his home PC.
There was no doubt to Sasuke about who was behind the sabotage. When he spotted Morio talking to the girls in the classroom, his rage flared beyond control. Eyes darkened by anger, Sasuke lunged at him, gripping his collar, and delivered a swift, decisive punch to his jaw—all in front of Hinata. The shock on her face briefly registered at the back of his mind, slicing through his anger like a shard of ice.
He clenched his jaw, feeling the sting of the aftermath on his knuckles.

For your eight nights of drarry: Something involving Draco struggling with muggle technology and Harry having to very patiently show him how it works and explain to him that no matter how many times he waves his wand at it, it's not going to turn on. Or something like that. Whatever you're inspired by :)
Night 2: Electricity
My dearest Grievers, @steampunkserpent27, I would love to write this for you. Thank you for submitting this lovely prompt! I hope you enjoy it. Also this is going to be all dialogue. Because I am tired and description takes more brain cells than I currently possess lol. Enjoy!
"Draco! I'm home! Will you help me with the groceries?"
"Harry? Thank Merlin, get in here!"
"Is everything alright?"
"In one way, yes, everything is fine. In another...not quite."
"Okay, let me put away the—"
"Harry, you're a wizard! Levitate the groceries and then get your arse in the living room!''
"Alright, alright, one second...Okay, what's wrong, love?"
"It's your stupid device! It's not working!"
"What—wait, you mean the telly?"
"Yes! See? It's pitch black! I tried everything. Televisio. Visiotelly. Showus Projectus. And still, nothing!"
"Draco...it's a Muggle device."
"Yes, Potter, I am aware."
"Then why are you trying to use magic to turn it on?"
"Because—well, doesn't anything work with magic?"
*trying to hold back laughter* "No, love. Not everything. Muggle electronics require electricity. That's why I had that repair person over here a few weeks back—to get us hooked up to a power line. You don't use your wand for this."
"Then how does it work?"
"You use this—it's called a remote."
"Interesting. What are all those colorful things?"
"Those are the buttons. They have different functions. This one turns it on—"
"Oh! There! You fixed it!"
"Er, I didn't fix it, really. It wasn't broken, to begin with."
"Still, Harry, you're so good at this sort of thing."
"I'll teach you, love. It's not hard at all once you get the hang of it. Do you want to try turning it off and back on again?"
"Alright." *switches off* "Okay, then what button do I press?"
"The same one."
"Like this—? Oh! Look at that! I did it!"
"You did! Now, here's how you adjust the volume—"
"I can't just use a Silencio? Or a Sonorous?"
"No, love. The telly won't respond to spells. It's Muggle."
"Oh. Right. Show me."
"Like this. See? You click this to make it louder, and like this to make it quieter."
"Oh, I see. Can I try?"
"Sure."
"Louder...and then quieter...I did it!"
"Yes, you did, love. I'm proud of you."
"As well you should be, Potter. I'm a fast learner. Now, why don't you get started on dinner, and I'll turn on the wireless."
"First the telly, now the wireless? Look at you, learning about Muggle devices. I didn't even know you knew how to use the wireless."
"Of course I do. Now, off you go to the kitchen! I'll join you once I've got the music going."
...
...
...
"Goddamn it! Wireless Playus!"
"Everything okay, Draco?"
"It's fine, Potter!"
...
"Electricitus Creatus!"
*sputter. crack. fizzle.*
"Draco?"
"Yes, Potter?"
"You sure everything's fine?"
"Yes, yes, you worry too much!"
"Okay. Just—quick question, then."
"What?"
"Why do I smell smoke?"

[image ID: a create mod contraption made of several belts, some crushing wheels, funnels, and chutes. /end ID]
i'm actually pretty proud of this one - the whole thing is hooked up to a single cobblestone generator, and using the redstone upgrade on the drawers for sand and gravel, some wireless redstone transmitters, and comparators, checks whether i have a (nearly) full drawer of sand or gravel or not, and based on that, decides whether things inside the buffer chest get removed to go to my storage or sent up to the crushing wheels to get ground down to the next step in the cobble -> gravel -> sand crushing chain.
it's not PERFECT - the big bottleneck is that the crushing wheels are slow and if i were better at create and space management i would ramp them up to be several times faster, which would remove the bottleneck that means the buffer chest above the wheels gets stopped up, in turn making extra stacks even after getting the 'almost full' signal below. also, my original idea was a much simpler "it uses the stockpile switch to turn on and off" instead of the thing with the drawer redstone upgrade and comparators, but it turns out the stockpile switch does not correctly read drawer inventories and would have never done the thing i wanted, so. luckily drawers have a native "output a redstone signal relative to how full the drawer is" upgrade.
[image ID: another angle of my create mod setup. in addition to the cobble/gravel/sand farm on the left, my create crafting setup (fans/crusher/mixer), an additional crushing wheel setup (for manually grinding certain materials), and my tree farm can all be seen attached to the windmill. /end ID]
anyway i'm not remotely low on power yet and i suspect i won't get "low on power" until i stick a rotational speed controller somewhere because that windmill isn't even CLOSE to overstressed yet. advantage of building a max-output windmill for your power source. i highly recommend, as long as you don't need any truly high-speed or high-output farms around.
#vh talk#the one DOWNSIDE to create is that it finally tipped me over the edge from 'lag issues in the overworld' to 'game why'#mostly because of the entities it has to render now i think because while in the vaults. its fine#so i've been playing with graphical settings lol#anyway my attempt at designing a copper farm using dark utilities did NOT work the way i wanted it to#but once i have that working i may show it off too

How to easily stream your (New) 3DS to a PC
For a long time, capturing footage from a 3DS was a pain - streaming the 3DS screens either required a hardmod to install a capture card (which, if you can, should still do if possible), or use one of the several wireless methods (NTR CFW and HzMod) that gave poor results, especially on Old 3DS.
Today, thanks to the effors of zbash92, there is now a way to stream the New 3DS display to your computer with actually decent picture quality and low latency!
youtube
New NTR CFW test done back when it was firstly released
Here's a few applications of streaming your 3DS to a computer:
Playing on a bigger screen
Recording footage of 3DS games
Capturing audio for OSTs or music you made on 3DS
Below is a guide to setting everything up, including audio capture.
Requirements
A hacked New 3DS system (Old 3DS users might use HzMod via a separate guide but the performance is VERY POOR. Old 3DS can still have their audio captured by audio cable.)
A good network connection that both the New 3DS and your PC share
(If you want to capture audio) A 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable and either a microphone port or a Y splitter that has a microphone port
Setup wireless streaming (3DS)
Install the .cia file onto your 3DS from the latest release of this NTR fork
Run the newly installed app, go through the setup until prompted to run a desired version - pick 3.6 HR at the very bottom
Press X+Y to open the NTR CFW menu and choose Remote Play (New 3DS) - this will show you the IP address your console has, and will also let you configure quality and performance options
Setup wireless streaming (PC)
Install one of the following NTR viewers: - NTRViewer (Windows and Linux, x64) - Snickerstream (Windows, x86 and x64) - kit-kat-slim (Windows, allows using input redirection AKA controlling your 3DS with the PC) - Twix (Windows, also allows input redirection and looks fancy) - cuteNTR (Linux) - cuteNTR-OSX (Mac OS) There are other ones, including for Windows 10/Xbox and even Wii U, but the performance may not be ideal for these
Run the NTR viewer you chose and input the IP address you got earlier. You can also set quality and performance options in the viewer as well as rendering options if available
Connect to your 3DS and enjoy looking at your console on a bigger(?) screen!
Setup audio capture
Connect the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to your 3DS headphone port and PC's microphone port (directly or via the Y splitter in computer's headphone port)
You can test the audio by either enabling listening to the new microphone device or using a program such as Audacity or OBS
Notes and Issues
TRY NOT TO CLOSE YOUR 3DS LID! It can sometimes lead to black screens and no response from the console, in which case you should hold the power button until it shuts down
This CANNOT record your DS, DSiWare or GBA VC games. Those require a capture card or using an emulator instead. Audio can be captured regardless of what your system is running
Some games may disable your internet connection, which means that you need to use patching option provided by NTR CFW or your NTR viewer of choice
If your NTR Viewer doesn't work, check firewall and viewer's render settings first and then try other viewers for your system
If your viewer disconnects on still screens, increase the timeout/wait time of the viewer if available (for Snickerstream, it's in Advanced settings)
If you have choppy framerate, decrease the quality, fiddle with QoS value and Encoder Priority, or get a better internet connection :p
If you have audio issues, try switching between microphone out and line out

🧸Favorite place to nap?
🎧 Headphones or earbuds?
☕ Coffee or tea?
🧸Favorite place to nap?
I have to take five rest breaks a day at the moment for boring chronic illness reasons and in the afternoon I can curl up in a patch of sun in my bedroom for my little cat-naps because it catches the sun in the late afternoon. It has a lovely view of the bins in the yard but there is something extremely delightful about chasing a little patch of warm sunlight for a little rest. When I am not quite so sick I find it near impossible to nap, so this last year or so has been quite the napping adventure for me.
🎧 Headphones or earbuds?
HEADPHONES. I recently had to give in and get some wireless earbuds after I got an emergency call from work when I was out with no headphones and I had to try and talk someone through a spreadsheet on a train (bad experience, do not recommend) so now I'm like: here is an emergency pair of earbuds that fit in my bag. But I got some Bose Quiet Comfort headphones a few years ago and they revolutionised my commuting and travelling life and I will never go back (even though I work remotely now so the need is not so strong).
☕ Coffee or tea?
BOTH. Coffee first thing in the morning, a couple of cups just to let the world settle, then it's mostly tea. I switched back to Yorkshire tea today after a few months of having to use up Other Brands That Were In My Cupboard and I literally had to call my mum to tell her that THE TEA IS GOOD AGAIN. However I ALSO got some jaffa cake black tea from Aldi a few weeks ago and that is delicious. Still mourning the discontinuation of Twining's lapsang tea, which you can't get fucking anywhere anymore, in any brand, and is one of my favourite things to drink. (this was not in the question but I like to whine about it). My kingdom for a box of lapsang.

Mice things. You could also shrink tech more by having the actual hardware be wireless. I often remote into my home computers from my old hacked Nintendo switch. For better latency you could have someone else lug the server/hardware around.
Yeah, figured something like that would be more feasible. The other idea is for things with buttons to be connected by umbilical cord to a larger box with the hardware. Like a tiny gamepad with tiny tiny buttons with no pcb inside, its connected by wire to the box with the circuitry to cut down on the weight she'd have to hold. Still haven't found anywhere that sells tiny tiny buttons that aren't so clicky it'd be difficult for her to press. I dont think you can make soft membrane buttons that small.

Magnetoactive liquid-solid phase transitional matter
https://www.cell.com/matter/fulltext/S2590-2385(22)00693-2#articleInformation
Magnetically actuated miniature machines can perform multimodal locomotion and programmable deformations. However, they are either solid magnetic elastomers with limited morphological adaptability or liquid material systems with low mechanical strength.
Here, we report magnetoactive phase transitional matter (MPTM) composed of magnetic neodymium-iron-boron microparticles embedded in liquid metal. MPTMs can reversibly switch between solid and liquid phase by heating with alternating magnetic field or through ambient cooling.
In this way, they uniquely combine high mechanical strength (strength, 21.2 MPa; stiffness, 1.98 GPa), high load capacity (able to bear 30 kg), and fast locomotion speed (>1.5 m/s) in the solid phase with excellent morphological adaptability (elongation, splitting, and merging) in the liquid phase. We demonstrate the unique capabilities of MPTMs by showing their dynamic shape reconfigurability by realizing smart soldering machines and universal screws for smart assembly and machines for foreign body removal and drug delivery in a model stomach.

Reach of Online Education in Rural India
The concept of E-learning was introduced in the late nineties. But it was never a popular method of acquiring education until the Covid pandemic arrived. The pandemic acted as a catalyst as people couldn’t leave their homes and had to switch to online methods for learning. Since then, online education has become a ubiquitous part of our education system. The urban area of the country are leveraging internet and electronic mobile devices to purse reputed courses like NMIMS distance MBA, distance BBA, distance BSc along with short term professional certifications.
In rural areas, before covid arrived, Online education was never a thing. Neither, the rural areas have Internet facilities which is the basic requirement of e-learning, nor people are aware. After covid, a lot of students who were studying in urban areas had to shift back to their native places which were not very developed in terms of technology. They reported to face a number of problems when it came to continuing their studies using the Internet as the pandemic hit at a critical time when the academic year 2019-20 was about to end, and it was very important for the students and the institutions to complete their classes.
Poor data connectivity, a lack of access to computers and smartphones, and power problems in villages made it difficult for the students to access the online courses offered by their universities. Students have been known to go to locations outside their villages in quest of the elusive mobile wireless connection. The media has reported a case where a child in Karnataka climbed a tree to get a strong enough mobile signal. Managing access to online classes was extremely difficult for students, particularly girls.
A survey that expresses the condition of Online Education in India
Many challenges which are now faced regarding online education are revealed by a study of a Government First Grade College (GFGC). The college is situated near the taluk office, which is 20 kilometres from the district office and 90 kilometres from Bengaluru, the state capital.
The students that go to this college are around 20 km from the area around the institutions. The college offers graduation and post-graduation courses and has 1060 students in total. The college switched to online methods of teaching after the pandemic. A survey was conducted and input was taken from 20 faculty members(a total was 21) and 724 students with the purpose of taking feedback regarding the online method of learning in remote areas.
Results of the survey:
Teachers communicate with students through a variety of channels, including websites, youtube videos, Jnana Nidhi (a YouTube channel), WhatsApp videos, and reading notes sent via email and Whatsapp.
With 66 percent of all techniques employed, sharing reading notes with students was found to be the most effective way.
Each faculty member connected with students on average 30 times.
For their own internal meetings, the academics used the collaboration technology ZOOM.
Teachers reported that they are facing problems due to a lack of assistance regarding new technology.
The faculty had no knowledge of how to make lesson films.
60% of the professors said it was challenging to make videos on their smartphones.
80% of the staff was not having any broadband connection and they were using their personal Internet to teach their students.
65 % of faculty faced signal issues.
Power Issues were also faced by all the members who were part of the program.
The majority of issues faced were regarding poor data connectivity.
Lack of training
Reasons why Online education cannot reach remote areas
No availability of the latest smart devices and a lack of accessibility to the online content that urban citizens enjoy daily.
Do not have enough resources to buy a personal laptop or desktop, depending on family members’ devices for studying
Can not afford expensive data plans.
Lack of awareness among people due to which they do not support the facility for their children.
Suggestions (Steps towards Transformation)
Availability of the tutor all the time.
Proper training regarding the technology part for both teachers and students
Clarity of technical doubts.
Creating a community between students- teachers and students- students to deal with any issues, learn about hobbies and interests of the other p[erson, etc.
Exploration with more and more tools so that the process can be made easier and more convenient.
Orienting students about all the changes coming in the Online Education system
Introducing various methods of Interaction, group discussions, and activities so that active learning can be encouraged.
Organizing the study material in such a way that it is easily adaptable to the students.

Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS)

Tactics
You don't need to learn DSP, or get your Ham license to explore radio signals. I didn't. You could even explore interesting signals such as vehicle key fobs without learning either, but learning these things will increase your understanding of signals and aid in your ability to go beyond the limitations of your tools.
Digital Signal Processing
The Scientist and Engineer's Guide to DSP was my introduction to DSP and I highly recommend it. Its free online and can be purchased in physical form.
Think DSP in Python is on my todo list. Also free online can can be purchased in physical form.
HAM Radio
Though I haven't taken the test yet. Covid was a major interruption in my plans, and I also plan to pass all 3 tests in one day. Using my personal test taking process, I would first start by reading No-Nonsense Study Guides.
Then take a pretest. Its important that you read all of the material before you take a pre-test as the goal is to retain knowledge, not just memorize a test. Most of the study should be reading/practicing the material, with few pre-tests as self assessments.
There are plenty of apps on Android (and I imagine IOS) that you can use. You need to get 74% to pass the exam, but I always shoot for 90%. If you get 90% on the pre-test, then move on to taking the actual exam.
If you didn't get 90% on the pre-test. The pre-test should be able to break down your score across various sections. Note the sections you're weakest in. From here, I would recommend switching over to the ARRL study guide as they are more detailed and only study the sections you're weakest end. When you complete all those sections, then take another pre-test and repeat until you're ready to take the exam.
Techniques
Accuracy
Radio is a science, but the tools that we can afford as hobbyists are not accurate. The three issues I face is drift, noise, and clock.
Drift occurs typically from your SDR getting hot and is a problem that grows across the session. To counter drift, you'll need to recalibrate your SDR to a Nation Weather Radio station. Find the frequency used in your area and tune to that frequency. You'll notice that you're probably a little off, this is the fault of your SDR not the National Weather Radio station. Set the offset of your SDR until your frequency of the station matches the one advertised. You'll then want to bookmark this frequency and check back to it every hour to insure that your SDR hasn't drifted.
Noise can interfere with interpreting weak signals (either distant, low powered, or both). To reduce noise and improve your signal collection, I'd suggest these guides for reducing on-site noise sources and external noise sources.
Signal Identification
Most signals are standardized or frequently used that dont require extensive analysis, but just identification.
The Signal Identification Wiki is a great place to start, and if that doesn't work, check out the sub-reddit r/signalidentification
This is an archived site that has a collection of digital signals that you could test your demodulation tools with.
Signal Analysis
Signal analysis is for those proprietary signals. As always, remember your ABC's.
Radio signals are fleeting. If you don't capture them, they may not repeat themselves. Don't worry about demodulating them at first. Capture the signals, and you can demodulate them at any time later.
Even if you're not able to record IQ data, for example you're listening to someone else's remote radio (there are a lot around the world on the internet), recording the audio which can be analyzed by tools such as fldigi.
I should add a lot more stuff here in the future.
